Arcola is a commune in the Province of La Spezia, Liguria, Italy, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) southeast of Genoa and about 7 kilometres (4 mi) northeast of La Spezia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 10,145 and an area of 16.4 square kilometres.
The municipality of Arcola contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Baccano, Termo, Fresonara, Monti, Romito Magra, Cerri, and Trebiano.
Arcola borders the following municipalities: La Spezia, Lerici, Sarzana, Vezzano Ligure.
Ameglia is a comune in the Province of La Spezia in the Italian region of Liguria, located about 90 kilometres southeast of Genoa and about 11 kilometres southeast of La Spezia. Ameglia borders the municipalities of Lerici and Sarzana.

San Nicola Arcella, Italy! LET'S GO! - Calabria, Italy - Episode 40
Calabria, Italy is the beautiful place that we consider ourselves fortunate to call home. We live in the town of Scalea, in Calabria, Southern Italy. In this video, we visit a neighboring town of Scalea: San Nicola Arcella. This perfectly serene town is full of all of the charm of Calabria, Italy, and it is only minutes away. Whether walking through Centro Storico, or standing and looking at the sea, this town is perfect in EVERY way. We also run into some friends while in San Nicola Arcella, and together, we make our way back to Scalea, where we go to lunch, at a place we have not yet been to. It was a great day, full of fun and friends.
We are Michael and Justin.
We are American expats, living now, full time, in beautiful Italy, in the region of Calabria, in wonderful Scalea. Michael is physically disabled, with mobility issues. And, we like to show in our videos, that anyone can dare to dream of life in Italy, regardless of mobility issues.

TREBIANO di Arcola (SP) , felicissima posizione per raggiungere il mare (a Sud Ovest Bocca di Magra, Forte dei Marmi e tutta la Versilia ; a Ovest San Terenzo, Lerici, Le 5 Terre, e Porto Venere ), nel centro del caratteristico e tranquillo borgo medievale ad accesso pedonale, ai piedi del castello, vendesi storica dimora su n. 3 piani ft + sottotetto mansardato, complessivi mq 230 ca. comm.li (circa mq 175 calpestabili) , composta da: al piano terra ingresso su ampia sala con camino/griglia, grande locale, ampio bagno e antibagno (da ultimare); al piano 1° n. 2 confortevoli camere e doppi servizi, lavanderia; al piano 2° ampio salone con camino e scalda vivande, cucinotto, disimpegno, camera e bagno; particolare accesso alla camera in mansarda con scala in legno.
Alcuni interventi sono da eseguire a livello di finiture, rifacimenti impiantistica e serramenti per ottimizzare gli ambienti; il tetto è stato ricorso di recente.
L’interno della casa rispetta le antiche caratteristiche: pavimenti in cotto, soffitti con travi a vista; è inoltre presente un camino in marmo con accanto un forno a legna, certamente utilizzato per la cottura del pane.
La costruzione risale ai sec. XI e XII (probabile alloggio del capo delle Guardie del Castello) è costruita in pietra con facciate sistemate di recente rispettando le caratteristiche originali (in perfetto stato), nobilitate da una finestra con bifora in marmo ed è comodamente raggiungile a piedi da Piazza Parcheggio.
Possibilità di ricavare due unità abitative con ingressi indipendenti .

I made this film for Paolo, the owner of this B&B, because he made us have a very pleasant stay during the 6 days in his house in may 2012. He brought us to several nice places and restaurants and made us excellent breakfast every morning. At the end of our vacation we went to a nice restaurant together with his wife and son and had lots of fun together.

If you've been following our Italy episode's we have now arrived in the largest city in the South Tyrol Province - Bolzano. Bolzano would now be our home base for the rest of our time in the Dolomites.
Bolzano is the Italian name for the city and Bozen is the German name.
Bolzano is a stunning city, with a large pedestrian center that is set in a valley surrounded by stunning Vineyards, and a gorgeous Castle perched high above.
