We delivered bread to remote Russian villages... by train
There are plenty of places in Russia that are only accessible by railway transport. Most of them are located in remote parts of Siberia and Far East of the country. However, in just 50 km from Black Sea, most desirable area of millions of Russia, in the mountains of Northern Caucasus, is a narrow-gauge railway that has its own train of life also known as Matrix. It transfers passengers and delivers goods to the villages with no motor roads being a single link between remote settlements and civilization.

Located in the centre of Taiwan is the legendary Alishan Forest Railway that is extremely popular with both railway enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. The starting point of the fascinating journey into the rainforests and mountain world of Taiwan is Chiayi.When visiting Chiayi it is a must to visit the authentic marketplace in which there is just about everything. The markets have retained their original charm and whether simple or exotic the food is simply delicious. The Alishan Express has travelled between Chiayi and the mountain station of Chushan, since 1986. The route becomes steeper and steeper as the narrow gauge train travels tentatively into the higher regions and also into changing weather. Luxury is the last thing that can be expected on the Alishan Express as the carriages are extremely basic. The town of Alishan was named after the mountains of the same name and in recent years it has developed into one of the most popular tourist destinations in Taiwan. The Giant Trees Trail has become popular with walkers. It leads through an unusual forest that is full of thousands of years old trees, the “Trees Of Three Generations“, ancient trees that have developed in a fascinating way. The first sunbeams mark the next day in the mountains when the legendary Alishan Forest Railway will bring with it new visitors who will experience the unique and wonderful mountain world of Alishan.

Poland - Narrow Gauge freight on the Nowy Dwor Gdanski, 21/10/2010
The Nowy Dwor Gdanski railway is a (nominally) 2ft 6in gauge line running from the standard gauge terminus at Nowy Dwor Gdanski to Stegna and Prawy Brzeg Wisly, both on the Baltic coast and a mere 20 miles or so from the Russian border.
The line is normally served by diesels but, in October 2010, we were treated to a demonstration freight train hauled by their sole remaining steam locomotive, Px48-1907.
We follow the line northwards towards the Baltic and across the operating swing bridge over the River Szkarpawa.

Ноябрьская поездка по всей южной ветви Апшеронской узкоколейки от пос. Черниговское до пос. Отдалённый (Шпалорез) протяженностью 37 км. Чудесный солнечный день золотой осени на Кавказе. Единственная горная узкоколейная железная дорога в России.
Это длинное и медитативное видео непосредственно перемещения по дороге с остановками у основных достопримечательностей.

Eng: This is meditative and long video from my trip along the Apsheronsk narrow gauge railway (southern branch to Otdalyonnyi settlement 37 km long). There was a beautiful and sunny autumn day and the train moved from the start in Chernigovskoye settlement far and far to the Caucasus mountains having the most interesting stops.
At this moment this is only mountain narrow-gauge railway in Russia.

Gedenkveranstaltung 10 Jahre deutsche Kriegsgräberstätte - Apscheronsk, zu dem vom Volksbund Deutscher Kriegsgräberfürsorge errichteten und unterhaltenen Soldatenfriedhof.
Die Kriegsgräberstätte Apscheronsk wird der einzig deutsche Sammelfriedhof für Gefallene des Zweiten Weltkrieges im Kaukasusgebiet und dem ehemaligen Kubanbrückenkopf sein.
Die Anlage wurde am 06. September 2008 eingeweiht.

I am sure no one knew this name TUMA. Well after this people will get to know small details about small town, a train that saved life of many people during war. I saw something which made me thing that why do people beg when god has given hands and legs.
I see many beggars in my country India and many news channel show about other Asian countries also. In this video you will see a few old babushka selling things beside Bus stop of tuma. You can clearly see how old the women are and still selling small things for living.

The Trans-Mongolian Railway is one of the greatest rail journeys of the world. I shot this footage on the way from Moscow (Russia) to Beijing (China) and on to South China. More than 15,000 kilometres.
It was a once in a lifetime adventure.
