Gwangju is a city in the southwest corner of South Korea. It’s known for a pro-democracy uprising in 1980. The event is commemorated by the 5·18 Memorial Park, with tree-lined paths and dramatic bronze sculptures, and the 5·18 National Cemetery.
East, the craggy Mudeungsan Mountain National Park has striking rock formations. In the foothills, the rebuilt 6th-century Jeungsimsa Temple has a Silla-era stone pagoda.

We spent a full day in Anseong 안성시, South Korea! Anseong is located about a 30 minute drive from Camp Humphreys. We started our day off getting brunch at Cafe 37.5.
After brunch, we went to Anseong Farmland. Admission to Anseong Farmland is 12,000 won per adult / 10,000 won for kids ages 3-18. US military members receive a 2,000 won discount with ID. I loved wandering through the fields of pink muhly grass and cosmos flowers which are in bloom September through November. We also saw a lot of cute farm animals. Anseong Farmland has a ton of activities for kids, such as go cart racing, an arcade, animal petting areas, amusement rides, and much more!
The Nature Fantasia Media Arts Exhibition is located next to the entrance of Anseong Farmland. Admission to the Nature Fantasia Media Arts Exhibition is 7,000 won per person. It will take about an hour to go through the exhibition. Please take your time in each room and wait for all the images to rotate through so you don't miss anything!
Our last stop was Starfield Anseong Mall. This mall is huge and has a variety of places to eat and shop.

anseong farmland is one of the best place to go during autumn and spring because it is sorrounded by flower not only that because you can also see different types of animals. you can also rent a bicycle to go around the whole place.I can say it is one of the best experience i ever had.i really enjoyed this place since i love flowers and animals. So i really recommend this place to all travellers out there.
