Doña Remedios Trinidad or DRT is a 1st class municipality in the province of Bulacan, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 28,656 people.
Doña Remedios Trinidad is the youngest municipality in the Province of Bulacan in terms of existence. Although it officially became a municipality only in 1977, it shares the province’s rich history.
The Municipality of Doña Remedios Trinidad was created in response to the clamour of the residents of seven barangays in the Municipalities of Norzagaray, Angat, and San Miguel. Being upland communities, they felt their needs were being neglected because of the distance from their respective municipal centers. By uniting them as an autonomous municipality, they believed the pace of their development can be accelerated. Thus, on 13 September 1977, then President Ferdinand E. Marcos signed Presidential Decree No. 1196, “Creating the Municipality of Doña Remedios Trinidad in the Province of Bulacan“ The Municipality was named after the mother of former first lady Imelda Romualdez Marcos, who was Bulakeña.

The Lake Angat of Bulacan||An Artificial Resevoir and Home of Dumagat Tribes
In this 35 minutes video we have another episode again which is our next destination is an artificial lake or man made lake again which is located in the mountanious area of sierra mountain ranges in the town of norzagaray and donya remedious trinidad in the province of bulacan which is commonly known as Angat Lake.This lake has an estimated area of 55,709 hectares and elevation deep of 696 feet which can stored about 850 million cu. meters of water aside from that this lake also is home of indeginous tribe in the philippines which is the dumagat tribes.
The Lake began to form when Angat Dam was raised in 1960's as a part of water system called Angat-IPO-La Mesa Watersytem supplies potable water to million residents of metro manila and nearby provinces morethan that this is also the location of some hydroelectric powerplants which generating electricity to luzon grid area which can generate for about 200 megawatts of electricity.
This is another long ride again going to this amazing lake but don't worry i included again some relaxation music while we on the road going to this destination with our best travel buddy pikachu.

If you wish to go to Bitbit River, you can take the bus or jeep to Norzagaray then take tricycle to Bitbit River. But its best if you have a motor or car because you can save travel expenses.
Before you reach the Bitbit River along the way, make a stop over to IPO View Deck and see the majectic view of the mountains. You can take instagramable shots there.????♥️
PS. Don't forget to wear your mask and faceshield.
*Monday to Saturday you can visit the Bitbit River. Sunday its closed for the disinfection day.
