Primo video girato durante il mio viaggio da Cosenza a Vibo Valentia del 26 Aprile 2021, relativamente al percorso che da Viale Mancini, a Cosenza, porta all'autostrada A2 del Mediterraneo. Lo spostamento, effettuato in zona arancione, è stato effettuato nel pieno rispetto delle norme anti-covid ed è dovuto a motivi di salute del sottoscritto. In the past, artists living in low-income neighborhoods made those places desirable for real estate developers, thus artists became known as gentrifying agents. Now artists and art professionals are working on new forms of urban growth to get ‘in front’ of change and participate in equitable possibilities. Is this realistic? Can art be part of community building in which the community is empowered and not displaced? What are possible solutions to sustaining healthy urban growth for all of its citizens?
