The temple is nestled on a small hillock on the Vemulawada - Karimnagar highway. It is a small shrine dedicated to Lord Lakshmi Narasimha, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The idol was carved out of the rock around which the temple was built. The visitors have to walk a few hundred steps that lead to the top from nearest the parking area at bottom. The climb is little steep may take up to 15 minutes.

আজ আমরা আপনাদের সামনে নিয়ে আসতে চলেছে একেবারে নতুন একটি জায়গা, এই জায়গাটা দেখে আমরা খুবই মুগ্ধ হয়েছি , আমি এটুকু গ্যারান্টি দিতে পারি জায়গাটা দেখে আপনাদের মন্দ লাগবে না, আপনাদের মনে হতেই পারে এই জায়গাটায় আগে কেন আসিনি? তার আগে বলে রাখা ভালো এই জায়গাটি কলকাতা থেকে মাত্র ৬০ থেকে ৬৫ কিলোমিটার। এই জায়গায় সৌন্দর্য ভাষায় প্রকাশ করতে পারবো না, উপর থেকে দেখলে মনে হবে জলের মাঝখান দিয়ে আঁকা বাঁকা হয়ে অনেকগুলো সাপ শুয়ে আছে কিন্তু আসলে এগুলো রাস্তা, আকাশ পরিষ্কার থাকলে মেঘের ভালো দেখতে পাবেন, তবে আমি বলব এখানে ঘুরতে গেলে সন্ধ্যা পর্যন্ত অবশ্যই কাটিয়ে যাবেন কারণ উপহার হিসাবে চাঁদ ও চাঁদের আলো দুটোই আপনার জন্য থাকবে। ওখানেই একজন স্থানীয় মাছ চাষের সঙ্গে পরিচয় হয়েছিল , তিনি আমাদের নৌকা ও চড়ান, তার কাছ থেকে শুনলাম এই জায়গাটি টোটাল এরিয়া 300 বিঘা নিয়ে। তবে চলুন ভিডিওটি শুরু করা যাক ,আর সকলের কাছে একটাই অনুরোধ ভিডিওটি শেষ পর্যন্ত দেখবেন।

শহরের কোলাহল ছেড়ে একদিন সবুজের মায়াবী পরিবেশে ঘুরে এলাম নলবুনি। শিয়ালদহ দক্ষিণ শাখার ট্রেনে ক্যানিং এসে অটোতে কালিকাতলা গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতের নলবুনি উদ্যানে আসতে পারেন। একদম গ্রাম্য নিরিবিলি পরিবেশে নলবুনি উদ্যান ফুলে ফুলে সেজে আছে আপনাদের অপেক্ষায়। চাইলে রাত্রি যাপনের ব্যবস্হা আছে। পাখির কলতান মুখর ভোরে সূর্যোদয়ের দৃশ্যে বিভোর হবেন অবশ্যই। বাইকে বা গাড়িতে যেতে পারেন, সায়েন্স সিটি ছাড়িয়ে একটু এগিয়ে বাঁ দিকে বাসন্তী এক্সপ্রেস ধরে ঘটকপুকুর এসে ডান দিকের রাস্তায় এগিয়ে যান জীবন তলার পথে। পথের বাঁকে স্হানীয় মানুষদের থেকে পথনির্দেশ নিয়ে এগিয়ে চলুন আনন্দে। পথের শোভা বেশ উপভোগ্য। জীবন তলা ছাড়িয়ে আরো কিছু দূর গেলেই পৌঁছে যাবেন সবুজের হাতছানি দেওয়া নলবুনি উদ্যানে। সময় লাগবে ঘন্টা দুয়েক। সাধারণ ভ্রমনপ্রেমী দের জন্য সকাল ৬ টা থেকে সন্ধ্যা ৭ টা পর্যন্ত খোলা থাকে এই উদ্যান। গেস্ট হাউসে থাকা খাওয়ার ব্যবস্থা আছে। যোগাযোগ করে যাবেন অতি অবশ্যই। প্রবেশমূল্য ১০ টাকা।

Poomaruthan Theyyam – Story
Goddess Arya Poomala was once enjoying the flowers in the garden in heaven. But heavenly damsels disturb the garden by plucking the flowers. Goddess Aryapoomala takes the help of the guards to protect the garden. She approaches a Shiva Bhoota Gana who was hiding in the form of wind in a flower in the garden.
Goddess Arya Poomala gave him the name Poomaruthan. He protects the garden and its flowers by driving away the damsels of heaven through sorcery, magic and trickery.
Goddess Aryapoomala was impressed by Poomaruthan and gave him the status of her brother. She took him to her personal garden, Arya Poonkavanam.
One day Poomaruthan expressed the desire to see Malanad to Goddess Aryapoomala. But they did not have a small boat to cross the seas. During this time, the daughter of King Ariya came to the garden form observing Poora Vratham.
Goddess Arya Poomala entered the princess and she caused trouble to her. The princess fell down unconscious. Through astrologers, King Ariya learned about the desire of Goddess Aryapoomala.
Vishwakarma arrived on the orders of the King Ariya and built a boat for the Goddess. Goddess Aryapoomala and Poomarthuan started their journey towards Malanad in the boat.
They landed on various ports and finally settled in Ramanthali Kurvanthatta tharavadu. The places where the Goddess visited like Maniyara, Thalaneri, Ramavilyam etc have the presence the Goddess.

Thayineri Sri Kurinji Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Goddess Kurinji, a form of Goddess Parvati, located near Payyanur in Kannur district, Kerala. The temple is famous for its annual theyyam festival, which is held from Makaram 27 to 29 according to the Malayalam calendar (usually in February). The temple has a fascinating story behind its origin. It is said that the Punnaakkan joint family head brought a Kurinji sapling imbued with the divine spirit and planted it at the spot that later became a temple. The single Kurinji sapling spread around the area making it a grove of Kurinji. The temple also has a unique feature of a pyre (Theekkundam) called Meleri, which is lit inside the walls of the temple during the theyyam festival. The theyyam festival attracts scores of devotees who come to witness the performances of various theyyams such as Poomaruthan, Madayil Chamundi, Raktha Chamundi, Vishnumoorthy, Ottakkolam, Puthiya Bhagavathy etc.
