Fiqra- a hidden hill station near Madinah Munawwara - فقره المدينةالمنورة
Fiqra is located aprox 60 Km from Madina Check point on the way to Yanbu. It is a very picturesque hill station and almost undiscovered and stays in its natural form. There are camping facilities before climbing up to Fiqra and it's a good staying/ camping spot. We observed that there are some resorts under construction and some were ready but we couldn't find any contact info. Very peaceful and quiet place to spend a couple of days.

Abha was the capital city for the Prince of Asir Ibn Ayde under the authority of the Ottoman Empire until World War I.[2] In 1918, the Prince of Asir, Yahya bin Hasun Al Ayde, grandson of Ibn Ayed, returned to his family throne conquered in Abha with complete independence. In 1920, Asir was conquered by the Ikhwan tribesmen of Nejd loyal to Ibn Saud during the Unification of Saudi Arabia. Abha has many historic places such as forts and other locations, thanks to the region's cultural heritage. Azdi tribes had migrated after Marib Dam collapsed for the third time in the third century AD. Al-Namas, Billasmar Region, Hawra Billasmar Center, Khaled, Eyaa Valley, Athneen Billasmar (which is the capital), Subuh Billahmar, Al-Nimas, Tanomah, Al-Majaredah place, Bal-Qarn Center, and Sabt Alalyaa place (Bishah, Wadi Bin Hashbaal) and some other known places that belong to the Asir Region

Kevin Cardwell delivers the opening keynote at the Cyber Defence Summit - Middle East & North Africa held on March 4 and 5, 2013 in Muscat, Oman.
The summit was co-orgnaised by Oman National CERT and naseba, it hosted more than 300 IT professionals from the MENA region.
Kevin Cardwell spent 22 years in the U.S. Navy, during this time he tested and evaluated Surveillance and Weapon system software, some of this work was on projects like the Multi-Sensor Torpedo Alertment Processor (MSTRAP), Tactical Decision Support System (TDSS), Computer Aided Dead Reckoning Tracer (CADRT), Advanced Radar Periscope Discrimination and Detection (ARPDD), and the Remote Mine Hunting System (RMHS) He served as the Leading Chief of Information Security at the NOC for six years prior to retiring from the U.S. Navy.
