Balite Falls | Amadeo Cavite 2019

Had an amazing trip going to Amadeo Cavite where the Balite Falls Spring Resort is located. Perfect place to spend summer to beat the scorching heat. Thankful for Val and Soc that they invited us to join them since we experienced some power interruption in our place. The entrance for the falls is 100pesos per person, the table rental costs only 300pesos. Be sure to come early as the resort is open from 7am until 4pm only. Glad we were given some extra time to enjoy since we arrived at 3:30pm. They also have a swimming pool separated from the falls, it will cost only 150pesos per person. They also have free parking. Water is cool, place is clean and peaceful.

Amadeo is best known for its Pahimis Festival.
PAHIMIS is the Amadeo word for “pasasalamat” (thanksgiving) in the olden times. As a tradition, coffee farmers gave away his last can of harvest as a sign of thanksgiving, believing that by doing so, luck and abundance would come on the next harvest season. An eat-together gathering with neighbours will serve as the Pahimis before the start of business venture or relatives and friends were sent part or harvest of food as Pahi.
