This panel offers a frank and informal review of the unique relationship between an artist and their gallerist. Artist Jonathas de Andrade and Verusca Piazzesi will exchange with Chus Martinez about how they came to work together, focusing on some of their transformative shared projects. De Andrade will discuss how the concepts of collaboration, labor, and identity filter through his works, from his exhibitions at the Venice Biennale 2022 and his current exhibition at CRAC Alsace, Altkirch which tours to MAAT, Lisbon.

‣ Jonathas de Andrade (b. 1982, Brazil) is an artist who lives and works in Recife. His works have been shown in solo exhibitions at CRAC Alsace touring to MAAT Lisbon; the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago; New Museum, New York; The Power Plant, Toronto; MASP - Museu de Arte de São Paulo; MAR - Museu de Arte do Rio; MAC - Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal; Kunsthalle Lissabon and Centro Cultural São Paulo, among many others. De Andrade’s works were also presented at the MOMENTA Biennale de l’image, Montreal (2019); Istanbul Biennial (2019); SITE Santa Fe (2016); Bienal de São Paulo (2016); Performa15, New York; La Biennial de Lyon (2013); New Museum Triennial, New York (2011); and Mercosul Biennial (2009), among many others. De Andrade represented Brazil at the Biennale Arte 2022.
‣ Margherita Tinagli is artist liaison at Galleria Continua. Continua was founded in San Gimignano (Italy) in 1990 by three friends: Mario Cristiani, Lorenzo Fiaschi and Maurizio Rigillo. Occupying a former cinema, Continua established itself and thrived in an entirely unexpected location, away from the big cities and the ultramodern urban centres. Galleria Continua is founded on a desire for continuity between ages, aspiring to take part in writing the history of the present day and uniting different and unusual individuals and places. Grounded in two values – generosity and altruism with the shared goal of bringing contemporary art to the most unexpected of places, during 30 years of existence, Galleria Continua has opened 7 permanent locations.
‣ Born in Spain, Chus Martínez has a background in philosophy and art history. Currently she is the Head of the Institute of Art Gender Nature at the Academy of Arts and Design in Basel (FHNW). She is the curator of Ocean Space, a collaborative platform for Ocean Imagination and Ocean Action established and led by TBA21 Academy in Venice, and curator-at-large at ‘The Vuslat Foundation’ in Istanbul.
Before her position in Basel, Martínez was the Chief Curator at El Museo Del Barrio, New York. She was dOCUMENTA (13) Head of Department, and Member of Core Agent Group. Previously she was Chief Curator at MACBA, Barcelona (2008 to 2011), Director of the Frankfurter Kunstverein (2005–08) and Artistic Director of Sala Rekalde, Bilbao (2002-05). For the 51st Biennale di Venezia (2005), Martínez curated the National Pavilion ofCyprus, and in 2008 served as a Curatorial Advisor for the Carnegie International and in 2010 for
the 29th Bienal de São Paulo.

On vous emmène du côté du Danemark et plus précisément au coeur de sa capitale, Copenhague le temps d'un weekend prolongé en période de Noël.

A Copenhague vous aurez également la possibilité de vous rendre à Christiania qui est un quartier de la ville situé sur une petite île et qui a été proclamé ville libre pendant une quarantaine d'année. Aujourd'hui c'est un endroit où vivent de nombreux artistes en tout genre.
Flânez au gré des rues pour découvrir les magnifiques bâtiments qui jonchent les différents quartier de la ville, avec plusieurs styles qui se côtoient, qu'ils soient renaissance, baroque ou encore contemporain.
Attendez la tombée de la nuit pour aller visiter un des plus vieux parcs d'attractions du Danemark qui se trouve dans les jardins de Tivoli. Un endroit où vous pourrez profiter de nombreux manèges à l'image de montagnes russes ou d'attractions comme le pendule. Toutefois si vous n'aimez pas les manèges, le parc est doté de magnifiques illuminations, que ce soit sur les bâtiments, les attractions ou encore les arbres... Il y en a partout !

Feldkirch is a medieval town in the western Austrian state of Vorarlberg, bordering on Switzerland and Liechtenstein. It is the administrative centre of the Feldkirch district. After Dornbirn, it is the second most populous town in Vorarlberg. The westernmost point in Austria lies in Feldkirch on the river Rhine, at the tripoint between Austria, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein.
This beautiful medieval town, which remains well preserved to this day, was mentioned as a city for the first time in 1218, after Count Hugo von Montfort built the Schattenburg, a castle which still is the major landmark of Feldkirch. Other sights in the town include the Gothic-style cathedral of St. Nikolaus. Feldkirch was the birthplace of Rheticus, and is currently the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Feldkirch. From 1651 to 1773 and from 1856 to 1979, Feldkirch was the home of the Jesuit school Stella Matutina.
March 1799 saw two clashes between the forces of the First French Republic and the Habsburg monarchy. On the 7th, Nicolas Oudinot, with 9,000 French soldiers, defeated Friedrich Freiherr von Hotze and his 6,000 Austrians. The Battle of Feldkirch occurred on 23 March, when André Masséna and 12,000 Frenchmen were beaten by Franjo Jelačić and a force of 5,500 Austrians.
Feldkirch has had its own local bus network since 1993. It currently consists of eight lines, including buses which run to the north of neighbouring Liechtenstein. The bus system cooperates with Vorarlberg's regional bus system. The Feldkirch railway station lies on the main railway line through the Vorarlberg, with inter-city services to Zurich and Vienna. There are also local international trains to Buchs via Liechtenstein on the Feldkirch–Buchs railway.

The Irish writer James Joyce is inextricably linked to Feldkirch. In World War II, Joyce was mistaken for a spy at the border check in Feldkirch in 1915 and almost arrested. Thanks to influential friends, he was regarded as a friendly foreigner. The Irishman saw this event at the Feldkirch train station as fateful. Subsequently, it influenced his most important work. In the summer of 1932, the friendship with the publisher couple Maria and Eugene Jolas brought the writer back to Feldkirch, where he stayed for several weeks at the Hotel Löwen and worked on Finnegans Wake (published 1939). During this stay, Joyce himself said that Ulysses (1922) was inextricably linked to Feldkirch: Over there, on those tracks, the fate of 'Ulysses' was decided in 1915.

The parish church of St. Columban in Andermatt was built as early as the 11th century, when the chapel, built two centuries earlier, was enlarged. The present building dates from the 13th century. The church is the most important Romanesque religious building in the canton of Uri.
The chapel and later church of St. Columban in Andermatt is from the time when the Ursern Valley belonged to the dominion of the Benedictine monastery Disentis and a gift from the monastery to the settlement next to the current barracks.
The late Romanesque church has an exposed façade with natural stone walls. The church tower is slightly inclined. The building has remained virtually unchanged since the 17th century. Due to the hillside location, however, construction measures were necessary again and again.
St. Columban was a parish church for the whole Ursern Valley until 1606 when the new parish church of St. Peter and Paul in the village center of Andermatt was completed. Subsequently, St. Columban became the Talkirche - which gave the Andermatt district the name Altkirch.
Already in the 9th century a small chapel stood here as the foundation of the monastery Disentis, which originally included the present choir and a wooden porch and was enlarged between the 11th and 13th centuries. Until the year 1602, St. Columban was the parish church of the entire Ursern valley. 1508 was the renovation of the nave. After the renewal of the spire in 1597 1601 building measures were necessary again. The last renovation took place in the years 1940 - 1942.

Die Pfarrkirche St. Kolumban in Andermatt entstand bereits im 11. Jahrhundert, als die zwei Jahrhunderte zuvor erbaute Kapelle erweitert wurde. Der heutige Bau stammt aus dem 13. Jahrhundert. Die Kirche ist der bedeutendste romanische Sakralbau des Kantons Uri.
Die Kapelle und spätere Kirche St. Kolumban in Andermatt ist aus der Zeit, als das Urserntal zum Herrschaftsbereich des Benediktinerklosters Disentis gehörte und ein Geschenk des Klosters an die Siedlung neben der heutigen Kaserne.
Die spätromanische Kirche hat eine unverputzte Fassade mit einem Mauerwerk aus Naturstein. Der Kirchturm ist leicht geneigt. Das Gebäude blieb seit dem 17. Jahrhundert praktisch unverändert. Durch die Hanglage wurden aber immer wieder Baumassnahmen notwendig.St. Kolumban war Pfarrkirche für das ganze Urserntal bis 1606 die neue Pfarrkirche St. Peter und Paul im Dorfzentrum von Andermatt fertiggestellt war. Anschliessend wurde St. Kolumban zur «Talkirche» – was dem Andermatter Ortsteil den Namen «Altkirch» eintrug.
Schon im 9. Jahrhundert stand hier als Gründung des Klosters Disentis eine kleine Kapelle, die ursprünglich den heutigen Chor und einen hölzernen Vorbau umfasste und zwischen dem 11. und 13. Jahrhundert vergrössert wurde. Bis ins Jahr 1602 war St. Kolumban die Pfarrkirche des gesamten Urserntales. 1508 erfolgte die Erneuerung des Langhauses. Nach der Erneuerung des Turmhelmes 1597 wurden 1601 erneut Baumassnahmen notwendig. Die letzte Renovation erfolgte in den Jahren 1940 – 1942.
