If you are a wildlife enthusiasts, look to the soaring heights of Mount Kenya, surrounded by flamingos and rare rhinos and wildebeest, and take 4X4s across the Amboseli National Park to spot large herds of African elephants and an extensive variety of wildlife such as Zebras, Giraffes, Cheetahs and innumerable bird species.

A 40-acre picturesque setting with magnificent views, Almat farms was breathtaking (literally)! Given the hype and stellar reviews, I made it a point to include Almat farms on my bucket list, a decision I am thrilled to have made.
So one bright and sunny day, my friends and I set off for the acclaimed farm. Needless to say, we had the time of our lives. There is hardly any downside to the Agro-styled tourist outlet save for the steep price tags. GATE FEE was 5000 naira for adults!
The piece de resistance for me was the quad biking activity I have longed to do for the longest time. We also saw some exotic animals, went on an intriguing guided tour and spent some time in the stables.
It is a great pick for picnics and staycations. And oh, it’s a very Instagram-able spot, so you bet I took loads of “fire” pictures. If you haven’t visited or are considering visiting Almat farms, this is your cue to hit the road!
