Hi and Welcome to our channel. Today we are sharing with you some Must-See places in Puerto Rico in an Epic Road trip through the mountains of the Island. We are taking you to Hacienda Tres Picachos for a delicious Coffee, then we will take you to an awesome Taíno Museum and later to an amazing breathtaking Canyon!

PART 2 OF THIS INCREDIBLE ADVENTURE:

OUR FUN TORO NEGRO ADVENTURE AND CHARCO DONA JUANA!

Our first stop is Café Tres Picachos! Established in 1960, the family-owned Hacienda Tres Picachos is a must stop if you are in Jayuya. The Hacienda is surrounded by a breathtaking view of the Tres Picachos Mountains and full of historical antiques and objects related to Taino and Puerto Rican culture.

Piedra escrita translates roughly as Engraved Stone. The area is a large, protected park with a good parking lot and a beautiful long boardwalk that takes you to the river, so getting there is quite accessible. The Piedra escrita itself is right in the river at the end of the boardwalk.

El Cemi Museum, devoted to ancient religious artifacts of the Taino culture.

Canon Blanco is a water carved canyon on the caonillas river. The bright white color, smooth texture and interesting shapes of the towering rocks make it a truly unique landscape in Puerto Rico and in the whole world. The most famous boulder in the canyon is called El Sofa because it looks like a huge couch.

The People, Food, Views and My First Chinchorreo in Aibonitio, Puerto Rico

Most visitors of Puerto Rico tend to only visit the capital San Juan. While San Juan is definitely is beautiful, exotic and a must-visit, there's a whole island left to explore.

Dare to venture out of San Juan and head into the mountains, just two hours by car away from the hustle and bustle that is Puerto Rico's capital.

Once in the center, up high in the mountains, make sure you stop in Aibonito. It's a quaint and charming little town. Fresh fruits and flowers galore, it is mostly memorable because of the authentic friendliness of the locals.
Make sure Aibonito is on your list of places to stay the next time you find yourself in Puerto Rico.

Thank you to Milly , Alexis and family for letting me crash at your beautiful Airbnb, Robert and Maria at La Gallina Escondida , Victor Ortiz for always making me laugh, Jose at El Balconcito Criollo for teaching me how to make the perfect mojito, the pineapple guy who always had the biggest smile on his face and Luisito and Lourdes at Jardin Emanuelli. Los quiero a todos. Gracias.

Charco Gang - Charco El Chalet - Aibonito, Puerto Rico

The Charco Gang hits up a gem hidden in the mountains near Aibonito. This charco requires a 15 min hike through thick brush and wading through knee-deep water, but the destination is worth it. The center of the main water pit is at least 20' deep and is great for jumping off the various ridges. There are a number of small guppies and mountain mullets chilling in the shallows. Water visibility is not great.
