Dans les Hautes-Pyrénées, la nature dicte encore sa loi. Si le sanctuaire de Lourdes attire chaque année des millions de pélerins pour son patrimoine architectural unique, le village pittoresque d'Arreau dans la vallée d'Aure et du Louron, est connu, lui, pour son incontournable Halle-Mairie du XVIe siècle. Le Pic du Midi promet quant à lui des nuits d'exception sous les étoiles de son observatoire. Mais c'est dans le parc national des Pyrénées que l'on peut admirer les plus hauts sommets des Pyrénées françaises se refléter dans les eaux turquoise du lac de Gaube.

Nous parcourons une région très étendue mais pourtant méconnue, l’Ile-de-France. Nous serons surpris par ses trésors historiques et architecturaux, en particulier les « Affolantes », des demeures de plaisance très prisées au 19ème siècle.
Avec Sophie Cueille, historienne de l’art, nous découvrons d’abord les plus beaux édifices de villégiature, du 17e au 20e siècle, marqueurs de l’histoire de la région. Notre voyage commence au-dessus du château de Vaux-le-Vicomte. Il se poursuit jusqu’au manoir de l’artiste peintre Rosa Bonheur dont l’atelier est en pleine restauration. Sans oublier le « Wood Cottage » édifié dans la ville nouvelle du Vésinet au 19ème siècle.
A Crespières, dans les Yvelines, deux jeunes artisans créateurs Guillaume Caffin et Louis Bataille confectionnent dans leur ferme des biscuits aux saveurs franciliennes : safran, chocolat, coquelicot, miel. Ils sillonnent la région à la recherche de producteurs locaux.
A Versailles, l’architecte en chef des monuments historiques Frédéric Didier nous révèle tous les secrets et les splendeurs de cette cité royale née de la simple volonté de Louis XIV. La chapelle du lycée Hoche en est un formidable exemple puisqu’elle a révolutionné l’architecture religieuse du 18ème siècle.

No Marrakech Morocco street food tour is complete without a visit to an underground pit where they roast whole entire lambs on a spit. This Marrakesh underground pit whole lamb roast specialty is one of the most popular foods in Morocco, and is up there with some of the best street food in the country.
We started off our day with a traditional Moroccan breakfast in Gueliz, before heading to a local place in the neighbourhood to watch the entire process of mechoui, the underground pit whole lamb roast. From the delivery of the whole lambs, we saw them butchered, put on a spit, lowered into the flaming hot underground pit, where they are sealed off with mud until the whole lamb is roasted to perfection.
The mechoui underground pit whole lamb roast is something that is special to Marrakech and a must try for anyone wanting to try some authentic, local street food in Marrakesh. The tastes and flavours are insane, with so much juiciness and tenderness to the meat, we were blown away by how tasty and delicious it was.

Come join us for the biggest bbq grill in all of Argentina as we feast on an epic Argentine asado in Cholila, Chubut, Patagonia. Known locally as the fiesta nacional del asado (the Argentine National Asado Festival) this annual event in Patagonia packs in thousands for the biggest lamb barbecue in the country. Aside from just meat there is gaucho rodeo, live entertainment and music, shopping stands and food stalls for all to enjoy.
If you're looking for something epic to do in Argentina consider attending the Argentine Asado Festival in Cholila for a once in a lifetime experience. When it comes to the best bbq in the world, in my opinion, Argentina reigns supreme. As much as you'll enjoy all of the tasty bbq it is the atmosphere of this event that truly makes it special. Bonus tip: If you're thinking of going to an Argentine Asado be sure to bring a big appetite!

BIGGEST BBQ GRILL IN ARGENTINA! ???????? | Epic Argentine Asado Festival in Patagonia:
Hey guys! We are Samuel and Audrey, a travel vlogging couple from Canada. In this travel channel we share our travel and food vlogs while touring the world.
We had the privilege of traveling around Argentina for nearly 3 months from January- April 2019 on a trip covering a large section of the country.
We kicked things off with several days in Buenos Aires where we were joined by Audrey's parents eating and sightseeing around some of our favourite neighbourhoods in the city. We then flew from Buenos Aires to Cordoba where we spent a couple of weeks in the Sierras of Cordoba visiting both La Cumbrecita and Villa General Belgrano with highlights including hiking and delicious German and Swiss cuisine.
From Cordoba, we then travelled a considerable distance on an overnight bus to Mar Del Plata just in time for a special food festival called Feria Masticar featuring the best of Argentine food and wine. We spent several days enjoying beaches and seafood before heading south to Patagonia to visit the province of Chubut.
While on the Atlantic side of Chubut we visited Puerto Madryn, Peninsula Valdes, Trelew, Gaiman and Dolavon. To summarize our time in this area, we had incredibly close encounters with wildlife including penguins, sea lions and guanacos while also experiencing Welsh culture in Argentina.
Our time in Patagonia continued as we headed from east to west trading more barren landscapes for thick forests, impressive mountains and magnificent lakes. We spent significant time in both Esquel and El Bolson with day trips to visit Trevelin, Parque Nacional Los Alerces, Cholila and Lago Puelo. Highlights included sailing, hiking, riding vintage trains and partaking in the national asado festival.
We finished visiting Patagonia with time spent in Villa La Angostura, San Martin De Los Andes and Bariloche where we enjoyed more stunning scenery and hiking. On our way back to Buenos Aires, we took the Tren Patagonia to Las Grutas before meeting up with Audrey's dad again.
To finish off our trip in Argentina, we spent more time in the capital and later Mendoza where we got to experience wine tourism to its fullest extent. Overall, we had an amazing time travelling around Argentina having only scratched the surface of this vast and diverse country.
Overall our Argentina travel series explores cities, small towns that are off-the-beaten-path, and scenic attractions with a strong emphasis on Argentina cuisine and local culture.

A 23 ans, Marjolaine Pasquier réalise enfin son rêve d'enfance : être bergère et garder des moutons. J'ai pourtant plusieurs défauts, dit-elle. Je suis jeune, j'ai peu d'expérience et je suis une femme. Malgré cela, Patrick, son employeur, a tout de suite été convaincu par son enthousiasme. Le défi est pourtant de taille car Marjolaine doit vivre et s'occuper seule de 700 bêtes sur un alpage vaste, escarpé et rocailleux situé à 1800 m. d'altitude.
