Street Food in Senegal!! ???????? ULTIMATE SENEGALESE FOOD TOUR in Dakar | West African Food!

???????? Senegal Street Food in Dakar - So excited to be here!

DAKAR, SENEGAL - Welcome to Darkar, the largest and capital city in Senegal, West Africa! Today Pape and I are taking you on an ultimate Senegalese street food tour in Dakar - we’ll be visiting the local market, eating local dishes for lunch, fresh seafood in the afternoon, and finishing this day off with an ultimate grilled lamb Dibiterie feast. Let’s get started!

Thank you to Pape Tatandiaye (Visit Senegal

Marché Kermel ( - We started this tour today in the heart of central Dakar at one of the old markets known as Marché Kermel. It’s a small and manageable market to get a feeling for the ingredients that go into Senegalese food. At lunchtime just outside the market you’ll find a series of street food stalls that set up serving home cooked Senegalese food. You’ll find dishes like Thieboudienne (jollof rice), okra stew, sweet potato leave, mutton curry, and much more. The food is sensational, so much delicious flavors and huge plates of food. I love the “guana” local chili peppers that taste similar to scotch bonnet chilies.

African Renaissance Monument - We then toured the African Renaissance Monument, one of the icons of Senegal and Africa, to symbolize the rebuilding of Africa after colonization, and to never forget the past slavery trade.

La Maree Chez Adji ( - Next up on this ultimate street food tour in Senegal we went to the very Western tip of Africa and restaurant called La Maree Chez Adji to eat fresh lobster and sea urchins.

Dibiterie Le Mboté 1 ( - Finally to finish this day we couldn’t miss a dibiterie, Senegal’s take on grilled lamb. This is something truly spectacular, some of the world’s best grilled lamb. It’s fresh and cooked over a raging fire and served with mustard, hot sauce, and onions. Wow, absolutely stunning!

What a day in Dakar, experiencing incredible Senegalese street food!

In April 2017 I left Australia for a solo trip around the world on a BMW F800GS. I named it “Are We There Yet” because I don't know my final destination or the duration of this journey.

Throughout my journey, I was raising money for a young disabled child in Poland named Franek. Franek was diagnosed with cerebral palsy (weakness of the entire right side of the body) and he will require constant rehabilitation for the rest of his life. All the money raised will go directly to helping Franek and his family so he can lead a normal life as best as possible, so please donate generously:

Which States In Nigeria Has The Most Handsome Men

Nigerian men treat their wives as second in command, they expect their women to be there for them, answer when they call and they always want to make the final decision…

They always want to… be the man

For a woman… not knowing how to cook is a serious crime in Nigeria.

Men in Nigeria believe that a woman is responsible if she is good with domestic works while the ones with very little knowledge and domestic know-how are considered irresponsible A Nigerian boy is expected to leave his father’s house at most by the age of 30, fend for himself and build his own home. If he fails to do so, he would be regarded as an irresponsible man in his own community; Nigerian men are expected to be independent by thirty at most The average Nigerian man believes in a family and the men are expected to take up all the bills at home.

2. The man runs the home irrespective of ‘how much’ the wife is worth.

The Nigerian man is a natural hustler, they go out in the morning and come back in the evening, they don’t usually get fed up with wealth acquisition, that is the one thing American women seem to like so much about Nigerian men, – That they take responsibility and make sure their family as well as their woman is well taken care of.

One said “I love the way African men love their children it is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen, but I can see the boys are more spoiled, that is the truth.”

Find out more juicy Tips About Girls From Nigeria

If you do a search on the internet about “Nigerian men” you would come across very few positive comments and loads of negative stuff about Men from Nigeria, like they are domineering, you hear things like “Nigerian guys are naturally dishonest!,” you will hear the good and you will also hear the bad things about men from western African. Well, I guess that comes with life

But the main question is – Why Nigerian guys in Diaspore go home to marry the accredited innocent and yet un-spoiled girl back in their country instead of the white chick they have been cuddling all year long?? The simple answer to that question is – because they don’t like an independent woman. African men believe that independent women and women with western upbringing are already spoiled and finds it very difficult to cope as tradition demands

Like going into the kitchen everyday to prepare his favorite recipe or give it to them the way they want it on bed. African men in general see the women as a helper who they have to love, pamper and dominate and they want her to remain thus, not another bread winner or some sort of competition.

Clubbing, excessive partying, alcohol is considered highly indecent for a Nigerian wife while the white woman considers them a sort of get-away.
The simple Nigerian girl is willing to submit and be a real wife to an African man, by so doing she enjoys unhindered love and lavish that she initially never bargained for. That’s why a man from Nigeria can fly several miles back home to bring her over, after of course several trial and errors with the white chicks.

A Nigerian women finds savorable love in humility, a quality that Nigerian men are yet to find in women with western upbringing.

Most of the negative things you hear about Nigerian/black men are from white/American women who tell stories of how they got their heart broken and how ruthless heartless they find Nigerian men. I am a Nigerian guy and I don’t care whether you are white, black or even pink once you have the qualities I want in a woman, I am off to the alter with you.

And that brings me to yet another tip about Men from Nigerian – They prefer church wedding to court marriage, in fact, only about 2 percent of all couples in Nigeria had court marriage, the rest follow the normal trend, – introduction, traditional and then church wedding no court nothing.

Dating Nigerian Men Here is where it goes wrong most of the times… most white women never learn how to deal with Nigerian men in relationship, so they keep getting it wrong.

The Ultimate ETHIOPIAN FOOD TOUR - Street Food and Restaurants in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia!

►Go Addis Tours:
►SUBSCRIBE for 2 new videos per week:
►T-shirts and caps available now:

Thank you to Go Addis Tours ( for taking me on this amazing ultimate food and market tour of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Ethiopia is one of my favorite countries in the world for food and travel, and this was my second time to visit, and I was eager to explore and eat as much as possible.

We started early, 5 am in the morning and Go Addis Tours picked me up to start at the wholesale market. Even though the city is still sleeping, Addis Mercato is buzzing from 3 am when trucks full of produce from all over Ethiopia, sell them at the market in Addis Ababa. You’ll find all the ingredients, and massive amounts, that you need to cooking Ethiopian food. It was a good warm up, to get to know some of the ingredients, before starting the day eating Ethiopian food.

We had coffee, and breakfast, both of which were excellent. Later after visiting another market, Dessie took me to his neighborhood to eat shiro wat, one of the greatest of all Ethiopian foods, a thick and rich chickpea stew. I’ve had shiro wat many times before, but never have I seen it fully prepared right in front of me. The shiro was incredibly good, piled onto a bed of injera, and we also ordered fir fir, a mashup of injera, simmered with tomato sauce and berbere.

Next we headed to a fish restaurant in Addis Ababa. Ethiopia is landlocked, so all fish is freshwater. We ordered fried fish, and asa lebleb, a mixture of fish sauteed with spices and herbs. Both were excellent, but the asa lebleb was the highlight because it was so flavorful.

Next Ethiopian food meal we went to one of the longtime classic restaurants to eat one of the best platters of beyaynetu in Addis Ababa. Beyaynetu is a mix of vegetarian dishes. It was again, a delicious meal, I especially love the tomato salad there.

For our final meal of the day, and to finish off this extreme Ethiopian food tour, we went to one of the most well known and best quality meat restaurants in Addis Ababa to eat tere siga - raw meat. You are served a variety of chunks of raw beef, delicately sliced. Then you slice it into bite sized pieces on your own, wrap in injera, and dip into chili sauce before taking a bite. It’s awesome. The fried meat version is also very good.

This was an amazing day, and an amazing Ethiopian food tour in Addis Ababa. Thank you Go Addis Tours!

Unfiltered|2 Most secured and luxurious places to live in Kaduna State Nigeria Drive through|new lo????

Apart from security this area are very close to the town or let me say central area.

The area are very good to live in but house rent here, are very high, the electricity in this area are is very good too compared to other areas of Kaduna state .

Barnawa is located in Kaduna south. I love because it is the lifestyle capital of Kaduna state Nigeria it houses many lifestyle activities, clubs ,lounge and many more.

So if you like to flexing b town is the right place for you, The house rent is high but affordable, because many people can affordable it

The most secured and most expensive for me is U/rimi northern part of Kaduna.
This area is very expensive because, most of the popular political bigwig or let me say ethic leave there. You know GRA level now it is area is cool and alway calm

house rent is nothing to write home about very expensive.Unlike barnawa that you will find everybody leaving .to me U/rimi is an area for selected for some set of  individual.

The electricity is good ,is not to far from the town.Am going to drive through this two area to show you some part. Please like this video, if you new to my channel and you what to know about the north subscribe for more

Which City is Better????????✨? | Dar v. Accra v. Kigali | Rating 1-10 | Single Mother Living in Africa

Instagram: @journey_with_lala

This video isn't a divisive video. Every city has its own strengths and weaknesses. No city is perfect. Every city is unique in its own way. However, what works for one person doesn't always align with he next person. I made this video to assist those who resonate with my personal life and needs to find the perfect place for them to live or visit. I'm here to highlight the pros and cons of each city so people can identify with the one that is best for them.

I love every one of these cities but there is only a few places that will align with my demands at the time. My demands change over time and I hope to have the opportunity to live in every one of these countries but it can never happen all at once. Which city aligns with your needs at this time? Leave a comment below to let me know. I hope I've been able to assist.

They said to avoid this Johannesburg neighborhood but we loved it

After 3 years exploring the Americas, Europe and Asia, we just arrived in Africa for the first time. And even though we’re spending our entire 18-day trip in the country of South Africa, we really wanna get a taste of the cultures that span the continent. So to kick things off, we’re leaving Melrose Arch—one of the nicest neighborhoods in Johannesburg—and heading to Yeoville—one of the poorest. It may be notorious for its high levels of crime and poverty, but it also boasts a diverse pan-African culture that’ll provide an eclectic backdrop to our first real experience in the city. Let’s get to it.

ABOUT US

We’re the Lockwoods. And we’re traveling the world to experience—up close and in person—all the natural wonders and distinct cultures that our kids would otherwise be consuming only through textbooks and TV. We think it’s a better way to learn and we’re working hard to fund this little experiment in the hope that our kids will grow up wiser, kinder, and more grateful for the beauty of our diverse planet and its people.
