Episode 32 - In the fourth part of this Oman documentary series we continue our road trip down to the coastal city of Sur. Sur is a town steeped in history and has long been a hub of marine activities and shipbuilding. Sur's shipyards are renowned for their age-old craftmanship of dhow boats.
After bidding farewell to Sur, our journey leads us away from the coastline, into the heart of the Wahiba Sands Desert. These golden sand dunes stretch as far as the eye can see and have some of the highest dunes in the world. By the time we arrive its well after dark and we look for a place to camp. But our trip doesn't go as planned, we end up being rescued by some locals, they invited us back to stay at their camel farm and enjoy an evening of Omani hospitality.
The next day we travel to see the ancient ruins of Birkat Al Mouz and the Nakhal Hot Springs as known as (Al Thowarah Hot Springs)

Episode 29 - In the first part of this Oman documentary series we are in Muscat, the capital of Oman. We explore this beautiful city, including the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque. We enjoy lunch in a traditional Omani restaurant called Bait Al Luban. We visit Muscats biggest fish market and enjoy an incredible sunset boat cruise along Omans rugged and mountainous coastline into Mutrah Harbour. The evening is the time the Mutrah Corniche comes alive and here is where you can find the Mutrah Souq one of the oldest marketplaces in the middle east. Learn about Frankincense, it is an integral part of Oman’s culture and heritage. Also discover the importance of the Omani Khanjar, also known as the Omani dagger. It is a traditional weapon and symbol of the Omani people.

WHO AM I?
In 1999 I volunteered in an orphanage in Kenya and it changed my life. I then worked in Albania with unprivileged girls and kids for 3 years. I came back to Italy and started teaching at primary school but I wasn't happy.
So in 2010 I took the decision to follow my passion, not my pension. I first volunteered in Cambodia for a year, then opened a blog and travelled around South East Asia, China, Iran and Oman, always showing the lives of real locals, away from the tourist spots.
My goal - my mission in life - has always been to inspire people to be brave, follow their passion, open their minds and discover the kindness of other people and cultures.

This video features another family and friends’ bonding moments to Ain Al Thawarah (عين الثوارة) in Nakhal which is another popular attraction in Nakhal, Sultanate of Oman. It is roughly a 50-minute drive from Seeb at a distance of 70 kilometers. The spring is tucked away among date farms a couple of kilometers from Nakhal Fort, and it flows year round with warm mineral water collected in the site pools. Tiny doctor fishes also called GARRA RUFA which swim in the overspill come and relax your feet, by eating away dead skin when dipped for a foot-spa-like session while sitting on boulders of rocks arranged along its banks.
