Banff is a resort town in the province of Alberta located within Banff National Park. The peaks of Mount Rundle and Mount Cascade, part of the Rocky Mountains, dominate its skyline. Today I'm taking The Canadian sleeper train for 97 hours across the North American continent from Toronto all the way to Vancouver on the Pacific coastline. I'll be travelling in Prestige class which is the most luxurious First Class sleeper cabin offered by Via rail but the excitement only starts with my ensuite bedroom. Join me as we explore the Park Car with it's private lounge, elegant dining carriage serving up hearty meals and of course the dome cars! We'll go from forests, to great plains to the Rocky Mountains all over the next 5 days and I'll be taking you along for the ride.

Should You Move To Canada During The Cost Of Living Crisis? | Rent, Transport + Groceries
After being abroad for most of the year, I was SHOCKED when I returned back to Canada and saw just how much prices have rose since I was gone. Real Estate is obviously the worst culprit in the cost of living crisis, but regular expenses like transport, groceries, going out to eat, have all increased substantially in the last couple of years. While Canada's immigration numbers have definitely increased and the countries population is now at 40 million, there is a large group of new immigrants who have chosen not to stay and either return to their home countries or another destination instead. A large reason to this has been the high cost of living, as well as a lack of high paying jobs. So if you are thinking of immigrating to Canada any time soon, I hope you will find this video helpful in going over what might be the best province for you to live in, as well as what you can expect as the average monthly expenses.

Ebbene si ho deciso di partire in solitaria per due settimane in Canada, uno stato dall'altra parte del mondo. Per la prima volta cambio continente, e non avevo idea che mi aspettasse un mondo così diverso dai luoghi a cui sono abituato nelle mie avventure in Europa!
Ecco a voi il primo episodio ma possiamo anche considerarlo l'episodio zero, in cui finalmente lascio casa e con un volo di 8 ore arrivo a Montreal!
