Macau Drone Flight: Macau is an autonomous region on the south coast of China, across the Pearl River Delta from Hong Kong. A Portuguese territory until 1999, it reflects a mix of cultural influences. Its giant casinos and malls on the Cotai Strip, which joins the islands of Taipa and Coloane, have earned it the nickname, Las Vegas of Asia. One of its more striking landmarks is the tall Macau Tower, with sweeping city views. Macaus Historic Centre has narrow alleyways, colorful colonial homes and grand Senado Square. Up a steep staircase, the Ruins of St. Pauls encompass the baroque facade of a 17th-century Jesuit church. The 16th-century A-Ma Temple is dedicated to the Taoist goddess of mariners. Hilltop Fortaleza do Monte is a Jesuit fort from 1626, while adjoining Museum of Macau highlights the territorys history. Lou Lim Ieoc, a 19th-century Chinese garden, has winding paths, bamboo groves and bridges. Coloanes Hac Sa Beach is known for its black sand. Macanese cuisine fuses Asian and European flavors. MACAU - The Las Vegas of the East
This whole pandemic got me finishing my third video from last year already.
To be honest I didn't know what to expect when I first visited Macau.
I imagined it to be similar to Hong Kong but it's actually kind of like Las Vegas with their own version of the Eiffel Tower and a Venice Canal inside a casino.
But aside from the casinos it's actually quite a unique city with a mixture of Chinese and Portuguese culture. I love Asian culture and hope I'll be able to explore more temples and historic sights after this whole situation.

The Cotai Strip is a term coined by Las Vegas Sands Corporation with regard to its building of a strip of hotel-casinos in the Cotai section of Macau, a special administrative region of the People's Republic of China. Cotai was the result of a major land reclamation project which joined the two islands of Coloane and Taipa, and is part of the Macau government's continuous efforts to expand the region's territory. The reclaimed land in Cotai is to be mainly used for casino developments and Las Vegas Sands Corporation envisioned that their development of several adjacent properties would comprise an area that would resemble the Las Vegas Strip, albeit on a considerably smaller scale.[1][2] Over the past decade, the layout of the Cotai Strip has also slowly developed into a grid like layout with major hotels and casinos (Wynn Palace, MGM Cotai and Galaxy Macau) built not directly connected to the 'strip' as opposed to Las Vegas strip with the majority of major hotels and casinos with front access to the Las Vegas strip.
