EXPLORING A SHIPWRECK AND THE SEA LIFE AT MOUNT LAVINIA ගල්කිස්සේ නැව් සුන්බුන් ගවේෂණය #shipwrecks

The Cypriot owned Thermopylae Sierra, was anchored in the Colombo outer anchorage about 4Km west of Mount Lavinia for years before it sank. Today the shipwreck is home and paradise for much aquatic life.

We enjoyed the beauty of the shipwreck and the sea life. This was just a teaser, our next visit which is a few weeks away will cover the full shipwreck.

සයිප්‍රස් ජාතිකයාට අයත් Thermopylae Sierra නෞකාව ගිලී යාමට පෙර වසර ගණනාවක් ගල්කිස්සේ සිට කිලෝමීටර් 4ක් පමණ බටහිරින් කොළඹ පිටත නැංගුරම් පොළේ නැංගුරම් ලා තිබුණි. අද නැව් සුන්බුන් බොහෝ ජලජ ජීවීන්ගේ නිවහන සහ පාරාදීසයකි.
