BANGKOK, THAILAND - Welcome to Sri Ananda Bhawan, one of the best South Indian food restaurants in Bangkok that specializes in food from Chettinad in Tamil Nadu, South India. Today, we’re going to eat the giant 3,000 THB (around $100) banana leaf thali, that includes 19 different dishes! #IndianFood #Bangkok #Thailand

Chettinad is within the Tamil Nadu state of South India. The food is characterized by lots of chili powder, pepper, and curry leaves. When I heard about the massive 19 item thali, there was no way I could resist. Thanks to Sri Ananda Bhawan and Mr. Rachan, for allowing me to see inside the kitchen as the talented Chef’s prepared all 19 dishes. One of their most well known dishes is the Chettinad crab curry. Onions, tomatoes, garlic, curry leaves, chili powder, pepper, coriander, all tempered down, loaded with crab, Chettinad masala, and coconut milk. The result was something truly spectacular, a combination of spices and ingredients that any curry lover will fall in love with.

Along with the Chettinad crab curry there was chicken 65, fish 65, prawn 65, about three other prawn dishes, 2 mutton dishes, fish masala, tandoori fish, a variety of veg dishes, chicken curries, sambar, and rasam. All laid out on a banana leaf with rice, it was truly a special meal!

I would also mention that although I ordered the massive 19 item thali, which you have to actually pre-order (and I would highly recommend). You can additionally just walk in, and they have many other more simple thalis that you can order - including vegetarian, or just order single dishes. Amazing South Indian food, and specifically one of the only Chettinad restaurants in Bangkok, Thailand.

Indian Street Food in Singapore!! KING OF CHAPATI - Best Food in Little India!!

???? South Indian Food Tour in Bangkok:
???? SUBSCRIBE: Don’t miss new food videos!

SINGAPORE - Welcome to Little India in Singapore and today we’re going on a food tour to eat some delicious Indian food - from some of the best chapatis and curry to a full banana leaf meal spread, to the best Indian hawker center street food court I can’t wait to take you on this amazing food tour.

There’s no doubt Singapore is home to an abundance of delicious Indian food - from street food to restaurants. And one of the best places to get started eating Indian food is within Singapore’s vibrant Little India. Here are the places I included in this video:

Azmi Restaurant ( Total price - $19 SGD ($13.87 USD) - You really come here to eat chapati along with tasty accompanying dishes. I had the keema, chicken masala, chickpeas, okra, and chicken fry, all of which was extremely delicious.

Neha Tiffin Centre - Tekka Centre, Singapore - Price - $2 SGD ($1.46 USD) - Unfortunately the place I had really wanted to go to try Indian style fried noodles was closed for the day. So I noticed many people eating dosa from a number of stalls - so that’s what I decided to try. At just $2 it’s one of the most affordable small meals in Singapore. Not the best dosa I’ve had, but overall quite good.

Shifa Drinks Corner - Tekka Centre, Singapore - While eating at Tekka Centre, I met the friendly guys from Shifa Drinks Corner who made a fresh sugar cane juice for me and wouldn’t accept payment. Please go support them when you’re here!

Gandhi Restaurant ( Little India, Singapore - Total price for 2 people - $29 SGD ($21.17 USD) - Finally to complete this Indian street food tour in Little India Singapore we went for a huge South Indian rice and curry meal at Gandhi Restaurant. I tried the yellow rice, chicken masala, fish fry, and a variety of other additional vegetable sides. Food was delicious, and it’s quite a popular place.

Again, Singapore has authentic and extremely delicious Indian food and this is just a start to all the delicious places to try!

Indian Food YOU WON’T Find in India!! EXTREME DOUBLES + Curry Roti in Trinidad & Tobago!!

???????? Trinidad & Tobago - Ultimate Street Food Tour:
????️ Get Smoked Ghost Pepper: (affiliate link)

SOUTH TRINIDAD - The Indian ethnic community makes up one of the largest parts of the population of Trinidad and Tobago. Today we’re going on an Indian food tour in South Trinidad - and while many of the foods are Indian in origin and cooking method, they definitely have adapted to become completely unique on their own - Indian Trinidadian food! It’s going to be a delicious day with lots of food and lots of peppa!

Huge thank you to #visitTrinidad for inviting me to Trinidad and Tobago and for making this trip happen! Guide to the things and food in this video:

Friends in the video:
Zaak (Foodie Tales with Zaak):
Camille:

Singh's Doubles ( - Debe, Trinidad - Our first stop on this Indian food tour is at Singh's Doubles. The entire town is known for their doubles, something you have to eat when you pass through. However, along with doubles, I was very excited to try something called a Saheena - a wad of taro leaves rolled up with dal flour and deep fried then filled up with curry chickpeas and all sorts of chili pepper sauce. Amazing!

Gewandass Doubles ( - Mosquito Creek, Trinidad - To continue we headed to Gewandass Doubles for their extra spicy “Diamond Doubles.” This might be one of the spiciest doubles you can eat in Trinidad and Tobago, where the barra (fried bread) is actually dipped in chili pepper sauce and a few more pepper sauces are added - there was way more pepper sauce than chickpeas. It was so tasty!

Aunty Doll's ( - Fyzabad, Trinidad - We continued south a little more to Aunty Doll's, a Queen of Indian Trinidadian food! She cooked the traditional way over clay chulhas and open fire and she’s just so cool. She cooked an insanely huge meal that included over a dozen different local Trinidadian dishes and roasted coconut chutney and buss up shut - slapped roti! It was one of the most memorable meals in Trinidad and Tobago - the flavors were incredible, and it was so interesting to see the combination of Indian food and ingredients combined with the green seasoning and flavors of the Caribbean. Makes for an incredible and unique food culture!

CPL Tournament - Finally to complete this day of food in Trinidad and Tobaog, we happened to be there at the time during the CPL cricket tournament. It was so cool to go to a match… and of course eat some more food!

And that completes another incredible day of food in Trinidad and Tobago.

Delicious Mango pickle, a South Indian special cuisine. Mouth Watering Food for Food Lovers

Tamils All Over Love This Breakfast Food ???????? / Trying Pongal In South India ????????

#pongal #indianfood #tamilfood

Since we got to the South of India - by definition when we started this trip in India - we were offered Pongal. And I was thinking Pongal, Pongal.... that sounds familiar... And it does. There is an important festival called Pongal. But that is not what they mean. Or maybe they do too....
Pongal (lit. 'to boil over') is a South Indian and Sri Lankan dish of rice cooked in boiling milk.[1][2] Its preparation is the main custom associated with the Pongal festival. It is also eaten as a breakfast food.[3] A part of Tamil cuisine, varieties include venn (hot) pongal, sakkarai (sweet) pongal, kozhi (chicken) pongal, and sanyasi pongal. It has been described as very dear to (the) Tamil people.

Anyway, I did try it down in Trichy and it was unusual I must say, but how was it exactly? Let's find out by watch the full video. Of course we tried some other foods too....

Please don't skip the adds as this is what keeps us running, give the video a like and maybe even a comment if it is not too much to ask for as it then will be more present in todays youtube algorithm.
