TOP 5 EASY PEAKS in the DOLOMITES - Hiking Tips
Download the GPX tracks of the hikes!
If you want to support the channel and my adventures :-)
Dolomites are one of my favourite mountain areas, and the best way to discover them is HIKING!
In this video I'm showing you 5 easy tops in the Dolomites.
NOTE: you still need to have a bit of experience with hiking to achieve these peaks
Also, some of these hikes have some easy parts of via ferrata. I personally didn't use climbing kit in these cases, but consider doing it if you feel like you want to be safer.
Col De La Puina:
After passing the beautiful Passo Staulanza, you'll keep driving down for a couple kilometers to reach a wide parking spot on your right. You will follow a wide gravel road in the forest, that will quickly take you to Rifugio Città di Fiume. From here, you'll keep going up, and you'll turn right to follow a grassy ridgeline. The last part is quite steep, but you will quickly make it to the first top, and after that, to the highest one.
Gran Cir:
The hike start from one of the Most Popular mountain passes in the Dolomites, Passo Gardena. From here, you will follow the trail number 2 that rises crossing many ski slopes.
You are getting closer to the rocks, and you will hike all the way up a rocky culoir.
From here, a very easy iron rope will guide you on a wide ledge. This part requires a bit of attention but it's technically very easy. You will soon reach the upper part of the peak, and a trail with some other easy parts of via ferrata will lead you to the top!
Croda Negra:
From the Parking lot of Passo Falzarego, you'll start following the trail number 441 that takes to Rifugio Nuvolau. After 15minutes, you will turn right following the trail number 442.
At one point, you will find a 2m high rocky passage. it's technically super easy and not exposed.
After that, you will find yourself on the higher part of this big rocky hill, and you'll just follow the ridge. In 1 and half hour you will be on top, and you'll be able to admire the huge group of tofane in front of you, cinque torri in the valley, and so many other layers of mountains.
Monte Cernera:
The hike starts from the famous Passo Giau.
You'll start hiking the trail n436, which will give you wonderful views of your final destination.
At one point, the path splits. On the left, Forcella Giau. On the Right, MONTE CERNERA.
you will follow a beautiful traverse with an amazing view towards Passo Giau and Tofane.
Now the most technical part of the strail starts. You will follow a very easy iron rope that will take you to an upper plateau. After a second short technical part, you will arrive very close to the summit!
Monte Coldai:
The hike starts from Palafavera, Val di Zoldo, just like the huge round trip that I showed you in the previous video. You'll start following a wide gravel road. In 30minutes you will be at Malga Pioda, and the path will get more narrow and steep. You will reach Rifugio coldai and you'll quickly make it to sella coldai, right over a wonderful little lake. Your goal is the top right over the lake, opposite to civetta. So you'll turn right and will follow the trail that will quickly take you to the top!

Countries with the LEAST Amount of Tourists! (you're welcome :P)
Are you tired of booking the perfect vacation only to find yourself stuck in endless queues of tourists who had also booked the perfect vacation. Well, never again! Here are the
countries with the LEAST amount of tourists!
1. Bhutan, Asia
Just over a quarter of a million people visit this isolated Himalayan kingdom a year. You can visit monasteries and immerse yourself in its culture whilst taking beautiful walks through its breathtaking snow-capped mountains and luscious valleys.
2. French Guiana
With only 190,000 visitors a year Guiana was the least visited country in south america. It has a rich Creole heritage, fantastic beaches, spectacular waterfalls and vast areas of unspoilt jungle. If you're thinking of going there, remember that it is french so remember to bring some Euros!
3. Bangladesh
Most people have heard of this country but surprisingly few visit it, just 125,000 a year.
Better known for its dense population and poverty, Bangladesh isn't only the worldwide call center. It has the largest mangrove forests in the world. lush green jungles, and picturesque tea plantations as well as an abundance of wildlife including the magnificent Royal Bengal Tiger.
4. Liechtenstein
Just 79,000 people visited Liechtenstein in 2017 making it nearly the least visited country in Europe. This tiny country boasts massive alpine views and actually loos like it belongs in a fairy-tale.
5. Timor-leste
74,000 people visit this relatively new country that claimed independence from Indonesia in 2002. The abundance of marine wildlife here is amazing with hammerhead sharks, turtles, manta rays, frogfish, ghost pipefish, Dolphins, humpback whales, sperm whales, and even the endangered Dugong!
6. Sierra Leone
Only 54,000 visit sierra leone a year but as it recovers from war and ebola outbreaks more and more people are visiting its beautiful coastlines, national parks and lush rainforests where you may catch sight of the rare pigmy hippo!
7. Sao tome & Principe
Only a little bigger than their better known cousin The Seychelles and despite their stunning beauty these islands are only visited by 29,000 people a year! Sao Tome has beautiful architecture and beaches and Principe is so bio-diverse it has been declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. these islands are definitely worth a visit.
8. Comoros
Comprised of three islands, 28,000 people visit a year, which is surprising considering that Comoros has almost untouched coral reefs, virgen rainforests, active volcanoes and its home to the Mongoose Lemur, giant Turtles and Livingstone bats!
9. Montserrat
With just 8,000 visitors a year its the least visited island in the Caribbean. This is probably due to its active volcano which erupted in the mid 1990s, covering the capitol in ash and forcing 2 thirds of the population to emigrate. although we don,t recommend living there its definitely worth a visit.
10. Tuvalu
Tuvalu has a total land area of just 10 square miles, so its easily missed! just 2,000 people visit a year but those who do can immerse themselves in the Indonesian culture whilst enjoying its crystal clear water, beautiful beaches and coral reefs.
Which one would you chose?

Guinée Conakry compte environ 13 millions d’habitants.

London Travel Tips: 10 Things to Know Before You Go
10 things you must know before you travel to London in the United Kingdom. First, the City of “London” is technically a one square mile area, with only 7,400 residents. But the larger london has 8.6 Million Residents in 32 boroughs. Big Ben refers to the bell, not the tower. The tower is called “Elizabeth Tower”
The country is called the “United Kingdom” -- England is a part of the UK. Great Britain is an old name when it used to be called “United Kingdom of Great Britain”
2 - When to go:
Low season is between January and February with average daily highs around 8C or 46F
Shoulder season is between mid-September and November and then again in March and April.
Shoulder Season. Mild weather, light jacket.
Cheapest hotels are Jan-March, but often with wind and constant rain
Summer prepare for thunderstorms and crowds. But probably the best time to go. Average highs are 24C/75F. The “city” can make it hot and humid in the summer.
3 - Money: Great British Pound, aka pound sterling, aka quid
1 GBP is $1.30 or 1.12 EUR
A pound is composed of 100 pence, referred to as “pee”
A five pound note is a fiver(smallest note), and 10 is a tenner
Credit cards are generally accepted, but may require “chip and pin”
ATMS are plentiful
VAT is about 20% -- and yes, they have a tax back scheme
4 - Getting in: 6 airports serve London
Main airports, Heathrow and Gatwick
Ryan Air and Easy Jet fly in to Stansted (it’s about an hour out)
Due to London's huge global city status it is the most served destination in the world when it comes to flights. But some connections may be between airports. DONT DO IT!
Heathrow is home to British Airways that operates 40 percent of flights.
From Heathrow the fastest way in to the city is the Heathrow Express -- it takes 15 minutes in to the city at Paddington Station, and leaves every 15 minutes. Station at Terminal 4, and another for Terms 1,2,3. It costs 22 GBP. Star Alliance Gold gets free Business/First upgrade.
Also can take the Tube, on the Piccadilly line. It’ll take an hour.
Gatwick is London's 2nd airport and is the world's busiest single runway airport
From Gatwick the fastest way is the Gatwick Express, it takes 30 minutes in to London Victoria Station. Also every 15 minutes.
No tube at Gatwick.
A taxi will cost you about 55-65 GBP from Heathrow
Rail fares to London vary enormously from very cheap to prohibitively expensive - the golden rules are to book Advance tickets for a particular train time, don't travel into the city on Friday afternoons and Sundays, and avoid buying tickets on the day of travel.
London has one international high speed rail route (operated by Eurostar ) rom Paris (2h 15min) and Brussels (1h 50 min) diving under the sea for 35 km (22 mi) via the Channel Tunnel to come out in England. It terminates at St. Pancras International Station.
Whatever you do.. don't drive!
5 - Getting Around: It’s all about the tube, officially known as the London Underground
Buy an oyster card
Daily cap, or buy a 7-day card
You use the Oyster Card for busses too
Take the double decker busses, tap when you get on. Don’t tap off.
Peak times are Monday to Friday between 06:30 and 09:30 and between 16:00 and 19:00.
off-peak rate is much cheaper.
Download the Citymapper app to help with navigation
London Black Taxis are world famous
Uber is also an option, though black cabs can be faster, they use bus lanes
Santandar Bicycles -- first 30 minutes are 2 GBP, every next 30 mins is free if you return it.
The best way to get around is your feet though! Central london is quite compact
Make sure to pay attention to the “look left/look right” signs before crossing the street
6 - Food:
7 - Tipping: Restaurants: Standard is 12.5%, 15% for good service. No tip of there is a service charge
Cabs -- round up.. Or 10%.
No tip in bars and pubs for drinks, unless you order food.
Doormen, bellhops a pound.
8 - Language: It’s english, but it’s British English.
9 - Shopping:
10 - Museums:

Places to see in ( Lille - France ) The Citadel
Places to see in ( Lille - France ) The Citadel
The Citadel of Lille is a pentagonal citadel of the city wall of Lille, in France. It was built between 1667-1670. It hosts the Corps de réaction rapide France. Dubbed Queen of the citadels (Reine des citadelles) by Vauban, it is one of the most notable citadels designed by Vauban. It is remarkable for its size, the quality of the architecture, and the state of preservation today. Its various components have been classified as historic monuments in 1914, 1921 and 1934 respectively.
This Queen of Citadels is the matrix of most citadels designed by Vauban. Established on the border of Flanders, it was part of a double-line of fortified towns between Gravelines, Dunkirk and Maubeuge-Rocroi. It delineated the famous Pré Carré (square field) conceived by Vauban comprising 28 fortified cities. From Lille, Vauban supervised the construction of the many citadels and canals of the North, which controlled the border between France and Belgium.
Lille was taken from Spain by French troops in August 1667, and Louis XIV immediately ordered the construction of a fortress. Louis Nicolas de Clerville and Vauban proposed plans. Vauban's were those chosen by the King. Work was started in 1668 under the direction of Lille's master mason, Simon Vollant. In 1671, the citadel became operational while Vauban continued to shape the city by constructing, a few steps away, a new neighborhood around the Rue Royale. The design of the citadel follows a simple but very effective idea: not one of its walls can be approached by the enemy without them being under fire from a nearby wall.
The citadel was constructed to the west of the city on marshland at the junction of the rivers Deûle and Bucquet. This allowed the use of swamp water and mud as a natural defense to make conditions more difficult for any possible enemy besieging the citadel. Through a system of locks and water gates, 1,700 hectares around the citadel could be flooded to a depth of 55 cm. A wide esplanade interrupted the plans, connecting the fort to the city. In 1750, a canal along the esplanade was drilled according to the plans drawn up by Vauban.
