Une fois n'est pas coutume, c'est dans une ville que notre périple au fil du Rhône nous emmène, celle de Vienne, située dans la Vallée du Rhône à 30 kilomètres au sud de Lyon. On la dit riche de quelque 2000 ans d'histoire, avec plus de 40 sites et monuments classés. Ce qui lui a permis, depuis 1990, d'être labellisée Ville d'art et d'histoire par le Ministère français de la Culture.

Col de la Bonette (elevation 2,715 metres / 8,907 feet) is a high mountain pass in the French Alps. It is situated within the Mercantour National Park on the border of the departments of Alpes-Maritimes and Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. The road over the Col de la Bonette is the seventh highest paved road in the Alps.
The two kilometre long teardrop shaped loop around the Cime de la Bonette mountain peak (2,860 meters / 9,380 feet) from either side of the pass is the highest paved through route in the Alps.

It is often called the Beast of Provence or the Giant of Provence because it is visible from many places of Provence. There are often strong winds at the summit, especially when the mistral is active. Wind speeds of up to 300 km/h were confirmed. Mont Ventoux is also a legend of cycling race Tour de France as one of the most grueling climbs. In the 100th edition of the Tour de France, the Mont Ventoux was a final stage #15 (Givors - Mont Ventoux) on 14 July 2013. In 2016 the race finished before the summit because of strong wind mistral.

Cette ligne traverse Givors (commune de la métropole lyonnaise, situé dans la région AUvergne-Rhone-Alpes (AURA) d'un bout à l'autre.
