SATUN, THAILAND (สตูล) - Welcome to Satun, a province in the very far south of Thailand, along the border of the Perlis state of Malaysia, and along the Andaman sea. The people are incredible, it’s very relaxing and laid back, and the food is delicious! In this video, we’re going on a street food tour of Satun, mainly local Malay and Thai food. #Satun #Thailand #MalayFood #curry
Here’s everywhere we ate on this street food tour:
Sam Pi Nong (ร้านสามพี่น้อง - For breakfast, we went to a legendary local restaurant run by three sisters. They serve a variety of Malay and Thai main dishes and desserts. One of their signature dishes is yellow sticky rice served with a coconut milk curry. I also enjoyed their biryani, and some of their amazing sweets. Great place to eat breakfast when you’re in Satun.
Total price - 160 THB ($5.30)
Original Gaeng Tomae (แกงตอแมะห์) - This no name - literally no name - curry shop serves Gaeng Tomae (แกงตอแมะห์), a Satun Malay curry of fish that’s loaded with curry leaves. One of my personal favorite dishes in Thailand, and this is a very traditional version. Amazing.
Total price - 105 THB ($3.48)
Bang Dul Restoran (ร้านข้าวแกงบังดุลย์ - Next for lunch on this amazing street food tour of Satun, we went to Bang Dul Restoran (ร้านข้าวแกงบังดุลย์). The owner is so friendly and the food is insanely good. One of the main dishes to eat here is goat curry, which is melt in your mouth. And the Gaeng Tomae (แกงตอแมะห์) is also astoundingly delicious and rich.
Total price - 300 THB ($9.94)
Roti Mataba (ร้านโรตีมะตะบะ(หน้า พ.ส. - Finally, to finish this Thai and Malay street food tour of Satun, there’s no way we could miss roti, and roti mataba. In the evening, many locals from Satun enjoy hanging out, snacking on roti, and drinking tea. Perfect way to end an amazing day in Satun.
Thank you for watching and hope you’re having a fantastic day!

Thai Street Food!! ????️ SPICY JUNGLE CURRY in Kanchanaburi - Thailand's Best Ever Food!!
???????? Village Tribal Food in Thailand:

KANCHANABURI (กาญจนบุรี) - Welcome to Kanchanaburi, a city and province in Western Thailand, and just a couple hours drive from Bangkok. Kanchanaburi is known for its mountains and jungles and for its jungle food (aa haan baa (อาหารป่า)! Today we’re going on an ultimate Thai jungle food tour.
Thai Jungle Food - Really quickly I wanted to clarify, what is Thai jungle food? As the name entails, it does include food from the jungle or forest - we’re taking hunted, fished, foraged, gathered, picked - all of the above. It’s wild food, and it doesn’t necessarily just mean proteins, but lots of vegetables, herbs, and chilies as well. It’s an entire genre of Thai cuisine and it’s known for being some of the spiciest food in Thailand.
Here are the restaurants in Kanchanaburi that we tried:
1. Khao Gaeng Siwichian (ข้าวแกง ศรีวิเชียร): This rice and curry stall opens in the morning in Kanchanaburi town and they serve a flaming hot nok pad phed (bird with chili). Price - 40 THB per plate ($1.05)
2. Jada Jungle Food (ร้านจ่าดา สาขา2 อาหารป่า): - This curry stall on the side of the highway is known for some exotic and extreme meats. I tried the local lizard, which was spicy and delicious. Price - 40 THB per plate ($1.05)
Boon Nam Jungle Curry (ร้านอาหารบุญนำแกงป่า): - Next up on this Thai street food jungle tour, this place is well known and they are a wonderful family style jungle curry restaurant. Food is tasty and as you keep eating the spice grows. Price - 715 THB ($18.72) for everything
Boom Jungle Food (ร้านปุ้มอาหารป่า): - Finally to complete this tour, we drove a little outside of the city to Boom Jungle Food (ร้านปุ้มอาหารป่า) for a ridiculously delicious and spicy frog jungle curry!
What a day of Thai jungle food in Kanchanaburi, a flavor overdose. I would highly recommend Thai jungle food if you love spicy food when you’re in Thailand.
Thank you so much for watching!

Halal Thai Street Food in Bangkok - AMAZING THAI CURRY and ROTI Food Tour!
The fish curry was my favorite dish of this Halal Thai street food tour!

The area around Haroon Mosque (มัสยิดฮารูณ), in the Charoen Krung area of Bangkok, is a great place to find Halal Thai street food (food cooked permissible with Muslim / Islamic traditions). In this video I’m taking you on a Halal Thai street food in Bangkok - we’re going to eat some amazing roti roti breakfast, and some of my personal favorite curry - gaeng gari (แกงกะหรี่).
Roti Mataba Khun Mai (โรตีมะตะบะ คุณใหม่) - This is the first place we stopped for breakfast to eat Thai Muslim style roti. Ying and I split a sweet roti, and a couple of mataba gai (มะตะบะไก่), chicken stuffed roti. Both were excellent, and made hot and fresh right in front of us.
Total price - 175 THB ($5.35)
Khao mok (ข้าวหมก) is Thai biryani, and this was actually more of a Burmese style. It rolled down the alley right where we were eating the mataba, and we had to try it. As we were ordering though, the family that lives in the house there in the gate, had watched our videos and invited us into their house to eat - this was completely random and unplanned. The family was extremely nice, and we ate the biryani in their home, and also tried a few of their extra dishes.
Price - 90 THB ($2.75) per plate
Gaeng gari (แกงกะหรี่) - This is probably my favorite dish of this entire Halal Bangkok Thai street food tour. Gaeng gari (แกงกะหรี่) of this style is typically a Muslim version of this amazing curry. It’s packed with spice, and what I love most about it are the curry leaves that give the curry its unique and strong flavor.
Total price - 110 THB ($3.36)
Gaeng Hindu (แกงฮินดู) - There’s a curry street food stall as you enter Haroon Mosque (มัสยิดฮารูณ) that you don’t want to miss. They have a curry that they called “Gaeng Hindu (แกงฮินดู)” or an Indian style curry. It looked like Thai massaman curry, but it didn’t taste at all like massaman curry. This curry was amazing, packed full of spicy, and not sweet at all like massaman. It’s a curry you don’t want to miss.
She wouldn’t allow us to pay. Thank you for the food!
Khanom soyi (ขนมโซยี) - This is the original version of this Thai Muslim dessert pudding. It was interesting, not my favorite.
Price - 20 THB ($0.61)
Kuay teow bok (ก๋วยเตี๋ยวบก) - This is a Thai street food dish you won’t find often, it included wide rice noodles and herbs, with shrimp, chicken, and peanuts, with a sweet chili sauce. The sauce was too sweet for me, but I liked the freshness of the dish.
Price - 40 THB ($1.22)
Khanom buang (ขนมเบื้อง) - Finally to end this Thai street food Halal tour, we ate khanom buang (ขนมเบื้อง). Most of the ingredients are vegetables and it’s really a refreshing and light mixture that all goes into it. It was a great way to end this food tour, and I was stuffed at the end.
Price - 40 THB ($1.22)
You’ll find Halal Thai street food around the Haroon Mosque (มัสยิดฮารูณ), especially on Friday from about 10 am - 2 pm.

AYUTTHAYA, THAILAND - Ayutthaya is the former capital of the Kingdom of Siam, and they happen to have some very tasty Thai food until today. So today I’m taking you to some of the best Thai street food spots in Ayutthaya, Thailand!
Here Klae Pork Satay (หมูสะเต๊ะเฮียแกละ) - - Featured in the Michelin Guide, this is a generations old Thai pork satay stall. The meat is quite sweet, but nice when dipped in the peanut sauce. Pork satay (หมูสะเต๊ะ), Price - 160 THB ($4.46) for 20 sticks
Pa Lek Boat Noodle (ก๋วยเตี๋ยวเรือป้าเล็ก) - - Along with freshwater giant river prawns, one of the foods you have to eat when you’re in Ayutthaya are boat noodles. I ordered Beef boat noodles (ก๋วยเตี๋ยวเรือเนื้อน้ำตก), Price - 20 THB ($0.56) per bowl
Roti Sai Mai Abeedeen-Pranom Sangaroon (โรตีสายไหม อาบีดีน-ประนอม แสงอรุณ) - - Most Thais who visit Ayutthaya will always visit a shop to buy, eat, and bring home some roti sai mai, a type of Thai cotton candy eaten inside of a roti. I have tried it many times, but this was my first time to see the entire process of it being made. Amazing! Roti Sai Mai (โรตีสายไหม), Price - 100 THB ($2.78) for 1 kg. bag
Singburi Fried Clams (หอยทอดสิงห์บุรี) - - The highlight of this Thai street food tour was eating from the Ninja of all mussels omelets. He’s truly at acrobat at work as he tosses in 20 eggs per omelet griddle! Fried mussels omelet (หอยทอด), Price - 60 THB ($1.67)
Khaotom Chedi (ข้าวต้มเจดีย์) - - For dinner, one of the best Thai street food meals to eat is khao tom, Thai Chinese mixed dishes with rice or porridge. Don’t miss Crispy gourami salad (ยำปลาสลิด), Fish head stir fry (หัวปลาผัดฉ่า), Clams with chili jam (หอยลายผัดพริกเผา), Stir fried water morning glory (ผัดผักบุ้งไฟแดง), Fried shrimp chili salt (กุ้งทอดพริกเกลือ). Total price - 1,200 THB ($33.42)

???? You'll Love This Video Next -
PHUKET, THAILAND - Welcome to Phuket, an island in southern Thailand and a superb place to visit if you love food! Today I’m going to take you on a Thai street food Michelin guide tour of Phuket. We’ll be eating at four different street food stalls which were all featured in the Thailand Michelin Guide of Phuket. I hope you’re hungry, let’s start eating! #Phuket #StreetFood #MichelinGuide
Roti Taew Nam (โรตีแถวน้ำ) - First up on this Thai street food tour in Phuket, you’ll need to start your morning off right - and that means some of the greatest egg roti ever. Roti Taew Nam (โรตีแถวน้ำ) is a legendary spot, serving some of the crispiest roti you’ll ever have, along with a variety of Southern Thai curries. It’s incredibly delicious. Total price - 320 THB ($10.64) for everything
Chuan Chim (ชวนชิม) - Next up for an early lunch we’re going to eat at Chuan Chim (ชวนชิม), a restaurant that serves stir fried dishes made to order. It’s a type of restaurant where you can order and Thai or Thai Chinese dish, and it will be delicious. One of their signature dishes is their pad kaprao - your choice of meat with holy basil. What blew me away is how “wok” smoky every dish is. Total price - 360 THB ($11.97) for everything
Go La Hokkien Fried Noodle โกลา หมี่ฮกเกี้ยน (เจ้าเก่า) - A Thai Chinese noodle dish classic that you’ll find in Southern Thailand as well as Malaysia and Singapore is Hokkien mee. Go La Hokkien Fried Noodle โกลา หมี่ฮกเกี้ยน (เจ้าเก่า) is a legendary spot and has perfected their recipes - the reason why they are rightfully included in the Thai street food Michelin Guide. Price - 60 THB ($1.99) per bowl
O Tao Bang Niao (โอวต้าว บางเหนียว) - Finally to finish this Thai street food tour in Phuket, we’re going to O Tao Bang Niao (โอวต้าว บางเหนียว) to eat a dish called o tao, a Phuket speciality of seafood, batter, cubes of taro, garlic, chili, and plenty of lard to make things crispy. It’s kind of like a Phuket special version of an oyster omelet. It’s honestly not my favorite thing to eat in Phuket, but it’s something you should try because it’s only available in Phuket. Price - 70 THB ($2.33) for the seafood version
And that wraps up this Thai street food Michelin guide tour of Phuket. Enjoy the delicious food!

TOP 5 BEST THAI DISHES! | My Favorite Thai Food in Bangkok, Thailand!
Huge thank you to Greg from Travizeo for filming and making this video!
Subscribe now: for 2 new videos every week.
A totally different style video today, hope you enjoy it!
One of the most common questions I get asked is Mark, “what are your favorite Thai foods?” And so when Greg was in Bangkok I thought it would be an awesome idea to cover when he was filming with his amazing video skills.
By the way, Greg films cinematic travel videos for brands and promotions, and he also happens to love to eat! Go check out his videos ( and website for more details ( And I was very excited when he offered to film and edit a video for me.
Choosing my favorite Thai dishes is a very hard thing to do, but I narrowed it down.
1. Braised beef fire pot (เกาเหลาเนื้อหม้อไฟ) at Heng Chun Seng (ร้าน เฮ้งชุนเส็ง) - There’s just about nothing better to eat for breakfast in Bangkok, and after trying quite a few versions, Heng Chun Seng is still my favorite. The beef is tender and most of all the soup is so fragrant from the herbs and beef. Google map:
2. Holy basil stir fry (กระเพราหมูสับ) at Ung Jia Huad (ร้านอึ้งเจี่ยฮวด) - If there’s one dish that could be the most popular and beloved easy to eat Thai food, it’s holy basil stir fry (with your choice of meat). It’s a dish that always hits the spot. Google map:
3. Green papaya salad (ตำปูปลาร้า) Stall on Sukhumvit - You’ll find green papaya salad on just about every street corning in Bangkok and throughout Thailand. My favorite version is som tam boo plaraa, dressed with fermented fish sauce.
4. Fish viscera curry (แกงไตปลา) at Janhom (ร้านจันทร์หอม) - Southern Thai food is always a favorite of mine, and gaeng tai pla, or a curry made with fish viscera is one of the most flavorful Thai foods of them all. Google map:
5. Jungle curry (แกงป่า) at Pla Mae Nam (ร้านปลาแม่น้ำ) - A dish I just can’t get over, and have to order every chance I have, is Thai jungle curry. It’s an amazing mixture of chilies and herbs, and in this case, fish. This is also one of my favorite restaurants in Bangkok at the moment as well. Google map:
There it is, 5 of my favorite dishes in Thailand. Thank you for watching this video!
Again, huge thank you to Greg from Travizeo for filming and editing this entire video!

Street Food 21 CURRIES FOR LUNCH!! Unseen Food Tour in Southeast Asia!! ยะลา
???? Indian Malay Food in Pattani:
???? Subscribe for NEW VIDEOS:
YALA (ยะลา), THAILAND - Located in the very far south, the Deep South of Thailand, Yala is a beautiful province known for its Malay culture and food, forest, and fruit paradise. In this Malay street food tour in Yala we ate one of the best traditional curry meals I’ve ever had in my life, and then continued on to the city to eat famous beef soup. Finally, we drove outside the city for some curian and cempedak. Get ready for some insanely delicious curry and fresh fruit in Yala, Thailand!
Khrua Wahid (ครัววาฮิด - Welcome to one of the best traditional curry restaurants I’ve eaten at in a long time. They serve traditional Malay and Thai curries and dishes from Yala. I was fascinated by the variety, and the ingredients present in each of the dishes. Literally every dish was outstanding, and many of them were new for me - even having traveled quite a lot in both Thailand and Malaysia. One of the many highlights was the quail and chili leaf curry. But really, you cannot make a bad choice at Khrua Wahid (ครัววาฮิด), it’s a must eat if you love curry when you’re in Yala, Thailand.
Quail - We stopped on the side of the road for a quick delicious roasted quail, so tasty.
Organ Soup (ซุปเครื่องใน (มัสยิดกาโบ) - In the iconic market of Yala in the the center of the city, you’ll find this legendary generations old beef soup restaurant. The soup is simple and refreshing, mainly focusing on beef organs and stomach. Additionally, you have to eat the soup with an omelet. The combination is fantastic.
Bang Lang Bridge and Lake - Finally to finish this street food tour of Yala, we drove about an hour to the iconic Bang Lang Lake and bridge. On the way, we stopped for some Yala fruit, including durian and cempedak. Unfortunately all the small “durian baan” were finished for the season, but the mon thong variety was still pretty good. And the view over the lake was spectacular.
I had an amazing time exploring Yala, but too short, so much more to eat and still do in Yala. I hope to visit again.

Ranong (ระนอง) - Welcome to Ranong, a very pleasant city in Southern Thailand. A couple interesting things about Ranong, which is both a city and province in Thailand, is that it’s the least populated province in Thailand, and it’s located on the Kra Isthmus, the narrowest part of the Malay peninsula. It’s also a cool place to visit with some fantastic people and delicious Thai street food.
We started at the market for breakfast, walking around the friendly market and eating some street food snacks including a freshly made egg roti (โรตีไข่), sticky rice shrimp (ข้าวเหนียวหน้ากุ้), and grilled sticky rice (ข้าวเหนียวปิ้ง). Market was great.
Traditional Ice Cream (ร้านไอติม ประเสริฐสงค์) - This is one of the most classic Thai ice cream shops that specializes in hardened raw egg ice cream (ไอติมไข่แข็ง) - 40 THB

Soft shell crab ปูนิ่มทอดกระเทียม
Total price - 850 THB ($26.25)

Pork ribs curry แกงเคี่ยวพริกกระดูกหมู
Fried pork หมูทอดเกลือ

If you have a chance to visit Chiang Mai, don’t miss them, highly recommended! #ThaiFood #MichelinGuide #streetfood
Guay Tiew Pet Tun Saraphi (ก๋วยเตี๋ยวเป็ดตุ๋นสารภี) - - Located a little outside of Chiang Mai city, this braised duck restaurant is well worth making the effort to get to. Their braised duck, has an amazing herbal flavor, and is a step above many others I’ve had. We ordered Rice and duck (ข้าวหน้าเป็ด) and Duck noodles (ก๋วยเตี๋ยวเป็ด). Both were amazing, but the noodles were the highlight for me. Price - 50 THB ($1.60) per bowl
Khanom Jeen Sanpakoi (ขนมจีนสันป่าข่อย (ไฮโซล้านนา) - - Next up on this Thai street food tour of Chiang Mai, we headed to the market for an amazing stall that’s hugely popular for their Northern Thai style curry. You can either choose rice of khanom jeen rice noodles - which are most popular. Then you can choose from a variety of their different Thai curries. I got, Khanom jeen nam ngiaw (ขนมจีนน้ำเงี้ยว), Green curry (ขนมจีนเขียวหวาน), and Beef curry (แกงเผ็ดเนื้อ). Another amazing thing about this place is that the plate of curry I had was just 20 ($0.64) per plate!
Khao Tom Yong (ข้าวต้มย้ง) - - Finally to finish off these amazing Thai street food Michelin Guide tour of Chiang Mai, we went to Khao Tom Yong (ข้าวต้มย้ง) for some Thai Chinese dishes. We ordered, Clams, chili jam (หอยลายผัดพริกเผา), Eggplant (ผัดมะเขือยาว), Tom yum fish (ต้มยำปลากะพง), Chayote leaves (ผัดยอดมะระ), Snakeskin gourami salad (ยำปลาสลิด), White chives (ผัดกุยช่ายขาว). Food was delicious, and a great way to wrap up this entire day of delicious street food. Total price - 420 THB ($13.44)

Phatthalung (พัทลุง), Thailand - Welcome to Phatthalung (พัทลุง) is southern Thailand and today we’re going in search of a rare Thai dish made with rattan shoots and fermented fish!
Trang Moo Yang (ตรังหมูย่าง) - But first, in order to get to Phatthalung, we needed to fly into Trang which is a bigger city with an airport. After landing we got in our car and then had to stop for breakfast. Trang is very well known for their local Thai Chinese style of dim sum and trang moo yang, roast pig.
บ้านต้นไม้ ร้อยหวันนอนฟังสายน้ำ - - We then drove to Phatthalung to meet up with my good friends P’Ju (พี่จู) and P’Nong (พี่นงค์). From there we went straight into the jungle to harvest the spiky rattan shoots in order to make the curry. After getting the rattan shoots we headed to their pristine jungle camp where they cooked Thailand’s hidden dish of southern Thailand; Fish Curry with Rattan Shoots (แกงน้ำเคยยอดหวาย). It’s a dish that you won’t find common anymore although P’Ju was mentioning that it’s an old dish that used to be prepared during festivals. It was outstanding!
Phatthalung (พัทลุง) town - After spending the night at P’Ju’s homestay we then drove into Phatthalung town and on to Pa Ngiao Restaurant (ร้านอาหารป้าเงี้ยว ลำปำ) for some river prawns tom yum and freshwater seafood!

Day 1: Eastern Thailand Food and Travel Tour. Watch all 8 videos here:
Welcome to Day 1 of my Eastern Thailand food and travel tour. Eastern Thailand is in my opinion often overlooked or underrepresented when it comes to Thai food. Many people do visit, but they tend to go straight to some of the popular islands like Koh Chang immediately, while passing the rest. Even in Bangkok, just a couple hours drive away, you’ll rarely find any Eastern Thai food. So in this series of videos (), my goal was to learn about Eastern Thai food, culture, and travels, and share it all with you.
Chanthaburi (จันทบุรี) is about a 3 hour drive from Bangkok, and this is where we began. Chanthaburi is a charming little town, next to a river, and plenty of history. One of the icons is the Catholic Church, which is the biggest in Thailand.
Here’s all the Thai food we ate and things we did on this tour of Chanthaburi, Thailand:
Morning Market (ตลาดสวนมะม่วง)
Grilled sticky rice (ข้าวเหนียวปิ้ง) - 10 THB ($0.32)
Grilled chicken (ไก่ย่าง) - 15 THB ($0.48)
Chanthaburi noodles (เส้นจันท์ผัดปู) - 30 THB ($0.96) - These are one of the unique speciality dishes of Chanthaburi, crab noodles that you need to try. They are very sweet, but quite addictive.
Je Eat Reem Nam (เจ๊อี๊ด ริมน้ำ) - Overall, the bowls of noodles here were quite tasty, though portion sizes were quite small. The restaurant is iconic and located in a great location.
Tom yum seafood noodles (ก๋วยเตี๋ยวต้มยำทะเล)
Rice seafood (ข้าวหน้าทะเล)
Total price - 200 THB ($6.39)
Cathedral of Immaculate Conception - This is one of the iconic landmarks and one of the places you must visit in Chanthaburi.
Fish cake (ทอดมันกระวาน) - He watches our videos and saw me walking by. Thanks for the great fishcakes!
Chantorn Pochana (ร้านจันทรโภชนา) - Probably the most well known local food restaurant in Chanthaburi, and for a good reason; their food is outstanding. This is the place to eat local Eastern Thai food in Chanthaburi.
Durian massaman (มัสมั่นทุเรียน)
Gaeng moo chamuang (แกงหมูชมวง)
Pla tom rakam sai krawan (ปลาต้มระกำใส่กระวาน)
Krawan pad cha pla (กระวานผัดฉ่าปลา)
Gaeng pa (แกงป่า)
Saeng wa (แสร้งว่า)
Total price - 1,140 THB ($36.41)
Chamuang (ชมวง) - garcinia cowa
Rakam (ระกำ) - salacca wallichiana
Krawan (กระวาน) - amomum testaceum (cardamom stems)
Ice cream (ไอติมจรวด) - This is a famous place for old style Thai ice cream, must try.

Thai Street Food - EXTREME BBQ MEAT TOUR in Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand | Thai Sausage and Laap!

CHIANG MAI, THAILAND
I’ll just tell you straight up, Northern Thailand is known for its meat, and meat is a huge part of the local authentic food diet. So today I’m going to take you on a Northern Thai food meat tour - eat mostly amazing bbq meat and a dish called laap (ลาบ) - and show you some of the best restaurants in Chiang Mai, that I personally love.
Talad Mae Hia (ตลาดแม่เหี้ยะ) Market - We started off the morning at what is one of the best places in Chiang Mai for sai oua (ไส้อั่ว), or Northern Thai herb sausage. At the market, the stall is called Sai Oua Kao Bakam (ร้านไส้อั่วเก๊าบ่าขาม) and we ate their sai oua (ไส้อั่ว) and a brains packet (แอบอ๋องอ๋อ). The sausage was the highlight, a perfect balance of herbal and meatiness.
Price - 390 THB ($11.91) per kg.
Kum Sang Dao (คุ้มแสงดาวหมูย่าง) - Just outside of Chiang Mai, but well worth the effort to get there, is one of the most impressive, filled to the brim Northern Thai bbq meat grills. For any grillmaster, this will be a sight to behold. The northern Thai food grill is typically quite low heat so meat can just kind of hang around and smoke all day long as it’s eaten. We ordered the mixed grill (ย่างรวมมิตร), which included a mix of everything on the grill chopped up and served with sauce. Another highlight dish at Kum Sang Dao (คุ้มแสงดาวหมูย่าง) is theirsSoured pork, egg (จิ้นส้มหมกใส่ไข่). This is an amazing restaurant for Northern Thai meat dishes.
Total price - 390 THB ($11.91)
Laap Ton Koi Restaurant (ลาบต้นข่อย) - One of the best restaurants in Chiang Mai to eat at laap raw buffalo (ลาบควายดิบ), is Laap Ton Koi Restaurant (ลาบต้นข่อย), and I was very excited for this one. The minced buffalo was mixed with spices and bile, and herbs perfectly by the laap master. This is the best laap I have ever had in my life, it was absolutely incredible. We also ordered the Flash-cooked sliced meat (ส้าสะดุ้ง), and the pork herb curry (แกงอ่อมหมู).
Total price - 140 THB ($4.28)
Laap Ton Yang Restaurant (ร้านลาบต้นยาง) - Finally to end this Thai street food meat tour of Chiang Mai, we ate at one more of the best restaurants in Chiang Mai specializing in laap. Again the laap made with beef raw (ลาบเนื้อ ดิบ) was spectacular, but we also tried their laap pork cooked (ลาบหมู สุก), soured fried pork riblets (แหนมซี่โครงหมูทอด), steamed beef, chili dip (จิ้นนึ่ง นำ้พริกตาแดง), fish curry (แกงตูนป่า), and fried fish, herbs (ปลาทอดสมุนไพร). You don’t need to eat raw meat here, all the other Northern Thai food dishes are also spectacular. This is just a great restaurant in Chiang Mai.
Total price - 420 THB ($12.83)
Thank you for watching this Thai street food tour of Chiang Mai and hope you have an amazing time eating when you’re in Thailand!

Lao Street Food - GIANT STICKY RICE Feast and Stuffed Chili Fish in Vientiane, Laos!
►SUBSCRIBE for 2 new videos per week:
►T-shirts and caps available now:
Lao Street Food Tour in Vientiane, Laos - Laos is an amazing country for food lovers, and there’s no better way to start sampling street food than to visit a local market in Vientiane.
Khua Din Market - This is one of the most bustling morning markets in Vientiane. You’ll discover an ocean of fresh ingredients available in the parking lot before 8 am. But for cooked food, I found some of the best stalls in the tented section at the back of the market - there you’ll find a few stalls serving all things Lao food - a place to have a Lao sticky rice feast.
Sausage - 5,000 LAK ($0.60) - First at the market we stopped for a quick Luang Prabang sausage, known as sai oua. They are so good, the beef in my opinion was tastier than the beef.
For our sticky rice Lao feast throwdown, we ordered a bunch of different dishes and all ate them together. We had some stews, some jaew, sticky rice, a few grilled items, and the highlight for me was a stuffed fish. Total price - 117,000 LAK ($14.00)
Sandwich - 5,000 LAK ($0.60) - On the outside of Khua Din Market in Vientiane you’ll find a few stalls selling khao gee pate, the Laos version of French baguette sandwiches with pate and toppings. They are not the best quality, but for 5,000 kip, they are a bargain and really do taste pretty good.
Evening Cooked Food Market - For this Vientiane street food tour, in the evening we headed to Ban Anou Night Market, a peaceful evening market where you’ll find a good selection of Lao food.
Khao Piak Sen - First we had a bowl of khao piak sen. Total price - 15,000 LAK ($1.80)
Next we had some stew dishes, and an order of green papaya salad, all of which were delicious. Total price - 65,000 LAK ($7.78)
Finally to end this Lao street food tour of Vientiane, Joel and I enjoyed some wonderful dried beef. Price - 10,000 LAK ($1.20)
Thank you for watching this Lao street food tour!
