7 Days in FINLAND ???? Lapland, Glass Igloo, Northern Lights, Santa Claus | Travel Vlog
We spend a week in the Winter Wonderland of Finland - Starting in Lapland, we visit the Santa Claus Village in Rovaniemi, meet THE Father Christmas, experience a husky ride, and take an Ice Breaker Cruise in the Baltic Sea, walking on the ice and swimming in the freezing cold waters too. Then we drive further north into Lapland, deep in the Arctic Circle to stay in a glass igloo and log cabin trying to catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights in the sky, following a reindeer ride.
Finally we finish in Helsinki, Finlands Capital and take a day trip to Tallinn, the capital of Estonia just across the water via Ferry.

An Adventure On The Arctic Circle | Lapland, Finland
A day in Lapland in northern Finland, in which I met up with Ernest from Chicago and we visited the Santa Claus village outside of the town of Rovaniemi. We walked across the Arctic Circle, took a reindeer sled ride, checked out the ice hotel, saw some husky dogs and even talked with Santa (which will be in the next video).

Road Trip & Things to do in Lapland, Finland
In search for the best winter spots Kristin & I went on a road trip through Lapland in Finland and checked out all the things to do in Lapland and it was magical!
More info:
I know it took a while to finish editing this video as I had to struggle with the 4k video data I got from my new toy: the drone. I'm now able to shoot lovely aerial footage to give you an even broader picture of the destination.
Our trip to finnish Lapland started in Rovaniemi with the visit of the Santa Claus village where we said hi to Santa himself and had some fun tubing and drinking at the ice bar in Snowman World.
Snowmobiling was a great way to start our second day & I would say it's one of the must dos in Lapland for sure!
Next stop was the area of Ylläs where we spent most of our time: ice sculpturing, snowshoeing, skiing, dog sledding, a reindeer safari, sauna and northern light sightings made this trip to once in a lifetime winter experience!

Arctic Adventure in Lapland FINLAND TRAVEL
Arctic Adventure in Lapland FINLAND TRAVEL
Lapland is Europe's last remaining wilderness. Its barren, beautiful natural landscape has an irresistible charm. Urho Kekkonen National Park is regarded one of Lapland's most pleasant and varied walking vacation destinations. It is Finland's second largest national park, covering 2,550 square kilometers with a diverse range of landscapes, including mighty fells and vast bogs, as well as forested areas. There are numerous marked trails that allow unexperienced hikers to easily explore the vast park, while the wilderness areas are ideal for longer and more difficult hikes.
