10. Apsara dancing
Performances entails elaborately dressed dancers performing a slow and figurative set of gestures and poses meant to entrance the viewer. The repertoire includes dances of tribute or invocation and the enactment of traditional stories and epic poems such as the Ramayana.
9. Sihanoukville
Sihanoukville is a seaside town featuring Cambodia's best-known beaches. The province is named after former king Norodom Sihanouk and grew up around the construction of the Sihanoukville Port which began in June 1955 and became the only deep water port in Cambodia. Sihanoukville's beaches are a popular tourist destination.
8. National Museum, Phnom Penh
The National Museum of Cambodia in Phnom Penh is Cambodia's largest museum of cultural history and is the country's leading historical and archaeological museum. The museum houses is one of the world's largest collections of Khmer art, including sculptural, ceramics, bronzes, and ethnographic objects.
7. Irrawaddy dolphins
The Irrawaddy dolphin is a euryhaline species of oceanic dolphin found in discontinuous subpopulations near sea coasts and in estuaries and rivers in parts of the Bay of Bengal and Southeast Asia. The Irrawaddy dolphin is similar to the beluga in appearance, though most closely related to the killer whale.
6. Ream National Park
Ream National Park is a national park of Cambodia located 18 km from Sihanoukville in south-east Cambodia. The national park contains beaches, mangrove forests, tropical jungles and over 150 species of bird and is well noted for its monkey population. Uninhabited Koh Sess island is located at the southeastern end of the park.
5. Preah Vihear
Prasat Preah Vihear is a Khmer temple crowning a 525 m cliff in the Dângrêk Mountains in Cambodia, across the border from Si Saket and Kantharalak in northeastern Thailand. Preah Vihear is perched on a hilltop with a commanding view of its surroundings. Predating Angkor Wat by 100 years, the history of the temple/fortress is somewhat unclear.
4. Sambor Prei Kuk
Located on the Eastern bank of Tonle Sap close to the Sen River, the central part of Sambor Prei Kuk is divided into three main groups. Each group is located in a square lay out surrounded by a brick wall. The structures of the overall archaeological area were constructed at variable times: the southern and north groups by Isanavarman I, and the central group.
3. Royal Palace & Silver Pagoda
The two magnificent pagodas in the Palace Grounds, the Silver Pagoda and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, are among the few public buildings in Phnom Penh really worth seeing. They were built in the 19th century with French technology and Cambodian design, and have survived the traumas of the 20th century amazingly well.
2. Tonle Sap Lake
This lake is one of the most unique ecological water wonders in the world. It is the largest lake in Southeast Asia and changes in size and dimension every wet season. During the dry season the lake is fairly small. During the wet season the water of the Mekong River becomes so powerful, that it reverses the flow of the Tonle Sap River and pushes the surplus of rain water back into the Tonle Sap Lake.
1. Angkor Wat
Angkor Archaeological Park, near Siem Reap in northern Cambodia, is one of the most important archaeological sites in Southeast Asia. SLocated 6 km north of Siem Reap, Angkor Wat is one of the largest of Khmer monuments. Built around the first half of 12th century by King Suryavarman II, the temple's balance, composition and beauty make it one of the finest monuments in the world.

This was a 2 day trip to 3 different province around Thailand
The first day we drove to Lopburi which is about 2 hours from Bangkok. Very few tourists here but it is worth visiting to see the infamous monkey temples. You can walk around and feed and play with the monkeys, it was awesome. Entrance is free.
Next we visited King Narai's palace in Lopburi. Entrance was free this day due to the passing of the previous King.
From there we drove to Khao Chin Lae which is a large mountainous area 40 minutes drive from Lopburi city. I was the only foreigner in sight, it was lovely. Nice temples here and an incredible view if you can get up the 436 steps to the top.
We then moved on to Saraburi which is famous for its huge sunflower fields. They are only really seen in this particular province on such a large scale. Extremely beautiful for sunset and very popular among thais.
The following day, we departed from Saraburi and drove 2 hours to Ayutthaya, the old capital city of Siam. Famous for its fantastic ruins and ancient temples. Very beautiful city and only 40 minutes from Bangkok. It makes a good day trip.

Pha Mor E Daeng cliff locates in Khao Phra Wihan National Park (Where Prasat Prea Vihear used to be part of it), Kantharalak district, Si SaKet province, Thailand. Apart from Prea Vihear temple (Cambodia side), there are the over 1,000 years aged Bas-relief at the cliff in Thailand side, promoted as the unseen Thailand road trip destinations easily accessible.
ผามออีแดง เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของอุทยานแห่งชาติเขาพระวิหาร แม้ในปัจจุบัน จะไม่สามารถเข้าชมปราสาทเขาพระวิหารได้จากฝั่งไทย แต่บริเวณนี้ยังมีภาพแกะสลักนูนต่ำอายุ 1500 ปี เก่าแก่กว่าตัวปราสาท ให้ได้ชม ซึ่งถือเป็นสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวสำคัญที่ไม่ควรพลาด นอกจากนั้น บริเวณผามออีแดงจะมีวิวทิวทัศน์สวยงาม อากาศดี และเป็นจุดชมวิวพระอาทิตย์ขึ้นที่สวยงามอีกด้วย นักท่องเที่ยวจำนวนมากนิยมมาพักแรม ปั่นจักรยาน วิ่งออกกำลังกาย เพราะสามารถเดินทางโดยรถยนต์มาได้สะดวก

I have lived in Thailand for 3 years and the BEST time to be here is during the Songkran festival which takes place mid April every year.
We celebrated the amazing Thai water festival in Chiang Mai. Songkran festival is to celebrate New year.
We also visited the best Elephant attraction in Thailand. Chiang Mai's Elephant Nature park.
