汕尾市位於粵東沿海，位於東經114度54分至116度13分24，北緯22度37分40至23度38分35之間。地勢北高南低，南瀕南海的紅海灣和碣石灣；北分別與河源市紫金縣、梅州市五華縣相連；東鄰揭陽市，同惠來縣交界；西靠惠州市，跟惠東縣接壤。 ，南北相距90公里，境內山地、丘陵、台地、平原交錯，地勢北高南低。
境內主要河流有螺河、黃江、烏坎河、赤石河四大水系，總長253公里，流域面積3,613.7平方公里。汕尾海域廣闊，海岸線蜿蜒曲折，港灣眾多，主要有紅海灣和碣石灣，海岸線長達302公里，有島嶼91個，並有大量淺海灘塗。
汕尾水產資源豐富，品種繁多，是廣東省著名的漁場之一。境內魚、蝦、蟹、貝、藻類齊全，漁業生產已有數百年歷史。大量生產的有藍園參（池魚）、海鯰（赤魚）、竹夾魚、鮎魚、大眼鯛（目鰱）、大甲參、石斑等。甲殼類有墨吉對蝦、近緣新對蝦等。貝殼有近江牡蠣（蠔）、翡翠貽貝、藍巖、鮑魚等。藻類有廣東紫菜、鵝掌茶等。
遠海梭子蟹（學名：Portunus pelagicus）為梭子蟹科梭子蟹屬的動物，俗稱市仔（蠘仔）、花腳市仔（花跤蠘仔）、藍花蟹、水蟹等。分佈於日本、塔希提、菲律賓、澳洲、泰國、馬來群島、東非以及中國的東南沿海等地，生活環境為海水，常生活於水深10-30公尺的泥質或沙質海底。其生存的海拔範圍為-30至-10公尺。

Shanwei City is located on the coast of eastern Guangdong, between 114 degrees 54 minutes and 116 degrees 13 minutes 24 east longitude and 22 degrees 37 minutes 40 and 23 degrees 38 minutes 35 north latitude. The terrain is high in the north and low in the south. It borders the Red Sea Bay and Jieshi Bay of the South China Sea in the south; it is connected to Zijin County of Heyuan City and Wuhua County of Meizhou City in the north; it is adjacent to Jieyang City in the east and borders Huilai County; it is adjacent to Huizhou City in the west and borders Huidong County. The land boundary of the whole territory is 132 kilometers from east to west and 90 kilometers from north to south. There are mountains, hills, terraces and plains in the territory, and the terrain is high in the north and low in the south.
The main rivers in the territory are the four major water systems of Luohe River, Huangjiang River, Wukan River and Chishi River, with a total length of 253 kilometers and a basin area of 3613. 7 square kilometers. Shanwei has a vast sea area, a winding coastline, and many harbors, mainly Red Bay and Jieshi Bay. The coastline is 302 kilometers long, with 91 islands and a large number of shallow sea mudflats.
Shanwei is rich in aquatic resources and a wide variety of species. It is one of the famous fishing grounds in Guangdong Province. There are a full range of fish, shrimp, crab, shellfish, and algae in the territory, and fishery production has a history of hundreds of years. Large-scale production includes blue garden ginseng (pond fish), sea catfish (red fish), bamboo clip fish, catfish, bigeye bream (eye silver carp), big armored ginseng, grouper, etc. Crustaceans include black shrimp, close-related new shrimp, etc. Shells include Omi oysters (oysters), green mussels, blue centipedes, abalone, etc. Algae include Guangdong laver, goose palm tea, etc.
The sea-going swimming crab (scientific name: Portunus pelagicus) is an animal of the genus Portunus of the family Portunidae. It is commonly known as the city crab (蠘仔), flower-footed city crab (花跤蠘仔), blue flower crab, and water crab. It is distributed in Japan, Tahiti, the Philippines, Australia, Thailand, the Malay Archipelago, East Africa, and the southeast coast of China. It lives in seawater and often lives in muddy or sandy seabeds at a depth of 10-30 meters. Its living altitude range is -30 to -10 meters.

Xuanwu Mountain is located in Lufeng, Shanwei city, Guangdong Province. As an open place for religion worship of both Buddhism and Daoism, Yuanshan Temple in Xuanwu Mountain was first built in the South Song Dynasty and later enlarged in the Ming Dynasty. 陽明山40砲陣地+杜鵑茶花園環狀散步路線 (Yangmingshan 40 Artillery Positions Memorial Park）
民國39年以後，每年夏季期間，蔣介石總統會前來陽明山草山行館避暑。所以在陽明山佈署空軍40砲連的砲陣地，以保護國家元首安全。民國83年，空軍防砲210-1連撤離，從此營舍荒廢。民國104年時，湖山里長李秋霞及曾在此地連服役的空軍上士何超倫呼籲請願，於是政府設立40砲陣地紀念公園，以保存這段歷史記憶。
After the 39th year of the Republic of China, during the summer each year, President Chiang Jie-shi came to Yangmingshan Caoshan Ｒesidence to avoid summer heat. Therefore, the 40 artillery positions of the Air Force were deployed here to protect the safety of the prisident Chiang Jie-shi.
In 1994, the Air Force artillery 210-1 company evacuated, and the barracks were abandoned. In 2005, Li Qiuxia, chief of Hushan village, and He Chaolun, an air force sergeant who had served in the company, called for a petition, so the government established a 40 Artillery Positions Memorial Park to preserve the historical memory.
從湖山路一段頂湖公車站旁的道路進入，約15鐘，即可抵達40砲陣地紀念公園，接著可以繼續走往第二停車場後方的杜鵑茶花園，再經由觀景亭，返回頂湖公車站。環狀一圈約1.7公里，步行時間約1.5小時（含休息）。
Enter from the road next to Dinghu Bus Stop on Hushan Road. It takes about 15 minutes to reach the 40 Artillery Positions Memorial Park. Then you can continue to the Azalea-Tcamellia Garden behind the Second Parking lot, and then return to Dinghu Bus Stop via the observation pavilion. The circular route is about 1.7 kilometers, and the walking time is about 1.5 hours (including rest).

★ Public Transportation: Take bus 128, 129, 260 Flower Clock Line, S8, S9 to Dinghu Stop. Next to the stop sign is the entrance to the trail (there is sign of the Husanli office).
★ Driving by yourself: Google Maps satellite navigation input Yangming Stereo Parking Lot (Caoshan Culture Center) or Yangmingshan Second Parking Lot (Yangmingshan National Park Visitor Center); one is going up from Hushan Road; the other is from the second Parking going down to the 40 artillery positions.

汕尾風車島是紅海灣與碣石灣交接處突伸入海的一個半島，號稱“粵東麒麟角”，總面積約13平方公里，其海岸總長約28公里，海水清澈透明，自然景光十分迷人，島上風車群是廣東省內為數不多的風力發電群，雪白的風車構成了整個優美的畫面，風車高大約是都市中15層樓相當，十分宏偉。
當地人並不稱之為“風車島”，因島上有很多用於風力發電的大風車，風車、沙灘、大海，野花、飛鳥、藍天白雲組成非常夢幻原生態美景，大家就稱它為“風車島」。
風車島也是一個三面環海的半島，裡面有3個自然村，有個風力發電場，建有不少雪白的風車。在萬裡無人的野海灘，有草亭伶仃的立著，有白白的風車，藍藍的天，另一種愛琴海的味道。
風車島的內海一側，風平浪靜。浪頭一般不高於5公分。碧海藍天風車白鷺．這裡海灘的沙子較為堅實，且非常白細。該海岸因人煙較少，長年的沖積，積滿了各色各樣的貝殼。
施公寮村（外地人和婚紗店都叫它風車島），位於汕尾市紅海灣遮浪半島附近。島上風車群是省內為數不多的風力發電群，這種從國外引進的發電風車安裝於一塔桿上，高大約與都市中的15層樓相當， 十分宏偉。我們稱之為東方“愛琴海”，沙灘細膩乾淨，海岸線細長，藍天白雲，是拍攝的絕佳聖地。有著夢幻的藍色的大海，白色的風車和綠色的草地，是一片不可多得的人間天堂。
風車島海水清澈透明，自然景光十分迷人。島上風車群是廣東省內為數不多的風力發電群，在島上， 白色的風車、藍色的大海、綠色的草地構成了整個優美的畫面。島上幾個海灘基本上人跡罕至，在萬裡無人的海灘，有草亭伶仃的立著，有白白的風車，藍藍的天，另一種愛琴海的味道。在島上，任何所見甚至連蒼藍的風都成了入鏡的元素，是一個非常適合拍照的「夢幻之島」。在旅遊旺季，不少人會選擇來此度假，其中，這裡也是情侶度假、拍攝婚紗照的勝地，相信來到這裡，你會被它的美深深打動。
