Top 5 Unexpected Places to Visit in Everett, WA
We went exploring the town of Everett Washington and the surrounding area for a day. We found there is a great mix of activities for all interests and age groups. Everett is located in the Pacific Northwest about 30 minutes north of Seattle Washington on highway 5, or about 2 hours south of the Canadian border.
So many people who visit Everett go to shop at the Tulalip Outlet Mall or to tour the Boeing airplane factory, but there is much more to see. We want to show you the lighthouse we visited, the bakery, downtown, Port of Everett, and arboretum. We also made a stop at one of the coolest toy stores we’ve ever seen, the Funko headquarters.

Exploring San Juan Island | Washington 4K
Today we are exploring San Juan Island, Washington and capturing its beauty in 4K. The San Juan Islands is known for their versatile hiking, quiet beaches, rugged coastline, and abundant wildlife.
We start the day out taking the ferry from Anarcortes. The first destination on the island was Cattle Point, a beautiful stretch of shore including hiking and a light house.
The next place we visited was Jakles Lagoon - a swampy/boggy area between the sea and the quiet woods.

The San Juan Island archipelago has 743 islands, reefs, and rocks during low tide, but that number shrinks to 428 when high tide covers lower formations.
Only about 20 islands are inhabited.
The islands have no rivers, but Orcas Island has several waterfalls.
The type of whale most often seen in the San Juan Islands is the orca (killer) whale. At least one of the three pods that inhabits the area may be found year-round.
