Delicious Sudanese breakfast in Karama

????Foul Abu Abbas is our go-to Sudanese breakfast spot in Karama!

They have about 6 things on the menu but they JUST DO IT RIGHT. Gotta get the…
????Sudanese style ful (stewed semi-mashed fava beans) with tomatoes, rocket leaves, salt, cumin, sesame oil & shredded white cheeeese ???? You just scoop it up with soft samoon (hot dog buns).
????Sujuk (spiced sausages) which they grind in-house & serve with this piercingly spicy peanut “dakwa”
????Omelette. We were admittedly forced into ordering their omelette ???? thanks to our breakfast partner & regular at this spot @paddydory…& it was shockingly good. Topped with cheese, tomatoes & rocket leaves.

ℹ️ They have maybe 3 tables outside…& we’ve heard some seating upstairs but that seems a little dubious given how tiny this place is???? Regardless might be best to eat in your car or bookmark this one for when it gets cooler!

Sudanese Vegan Falafel in Berlin :: Khartoum (Sudanesischer Imbiss):: Vegan Adventure #004

By far the best falafel in Germany...actually the best in the EU located in the trendy area of Kreuzberg in Berlin at Wiener Straße 69 10999 Berlin, Germany.
Falafel is one of the staple foods we encounter as vegans traveling around the world..and this one was one of the best we ever had..the sauce was unique and the falafel itself reminded us of some of the tasty juicy styles we had only earlier encountered in southern Egypt's Nubia region (though southern Egypt used to actually the north). Nearly every falafel dish at different eateries always tastes different...and this one was so amazing that we had to come back a number of times. Highly recommend this spot..friendly employees too. Next time we go to Berlin..this will be our first stop. A+
