Würzburg is a city located in northern Bavaria, Germany, which is famous for its wine, Baroque architecture, festivals, university, and bridges. The city is situated in the heart of the Franconian wine region, and its wines, especially the white wine variety called Silvaner, are renowned for their quality. Würzburg boasts some of the most impressive Baroque architecture in Germany, including the Würzburg Residence, which is a palace with a beautiful garden and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Additionally, the city hosts several annual festivals, such as the Würzburger Mozartfest, the Africa Festival, and the Würzburger Weindorf (Wine Village). Würzburg is also home to the Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg, one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Germany. Finally, the city is known for its beautiful bridges, including the Old Main Bridge, which is a pedestrian bridge that offers stunning views of the city and the Main River.

Back in 2013 we spend our holiday in Germany, Austria and Italy. I have re-edited our video recordings. Join us on our visit day by day. On our second day in Germany we visited the small towns of Weikersheim and Ochsenfurt.
Weikersheim covers 80.92 square kilometers of the Main-Tauber district of Baden-Württemberg, a state of the Federal Republic of Germany. Weikersheim is physically located in the Tauberland, a landscape of muschelkalk crossed by numerous river valleys, but especially the Tauber and Vorbach. The lowest elevation above sea level in the municipal area, 213 meters, is found on the Tauber, near Elpersheim. The highest elevation, 444 meters, is found to the south-east, near the border with Oberndorf .
Ochsenfurt is a town in the district of Würzburg, in Bavaria, Germany. Ochsenfurt is located on the left bank of the River Main and has around 11,000 inhabitants. This makes it the largest town in Würzburg district.

From a moated castle in northern Württemberg is one of the most beautiful residences of the Renaissance developed. Surrounded is the castle of a superb garden that reflects the Baroque pleasure of the countryside.
In the 16th century moated castle no longer met the requirements of Count Wolfgang II.. There was a Renaissance castle with exquisitely decorated rooms.
The Knights' Hall with its ornate coffered ceiling canvases with hunting scenes and life-size animal sculptures reflect the splendor of ballrooms of this period
