Pabna is a city of Pabna District, Bangladesh and the administrative capital of the eponymous Pabna District. It is on the north bank of the Padma River.
Pabna Municipality comprises a mayor and 15 councillors and 5 female councillors. Each councillor represents a ward of the town. All of them are elected by people's vote.
Pabna has a humid subtropical or tropical savanna climate. It has long hot summer and long hot and humid rainy season. It receives moderate amount of rainfall. South-west monsoon contributes to the majority of the yearly rainfall. Winter is short and much comfortable. But sometimes cold wave hits the city.

Nice place to hangout with friends and family. It's a picnic spot also, with a big space in it. Bring your young children's to have fun here, there are children riders available here with adults rides also. They will soon open a water park in here, construction going on right now. There is also boating facilities available for children and adults, ideal place to spend a day with your loved ones. It's also ideal for couple's also. I spent a day here with lots of fun and enjoyment. Must visit if you are live around.
Entrance ticket price is 20 of each ticket and inside bike garrage is also available.
Some rides are available which are paid.
Shortly water ride will be added their bucket.
Restaurant is too good and they served fresh and quality food.
I found this this place awesome for spending some quality times.

Darjeeling is the best tourist place in West bengal and one of the best in India. There is no other beautiful hill station in West Bengal than Darjeeling. Darjeeling is called the Queen of Hills. It is a town located in the state of west bengal. Once it was built by the British and soon it became famous for tea cultivation. Darjeeling tea is the best in the world. Darjeeling is located at an average elevation of 2042m. Distance between Siliguri and Darjeeling is nearly 61km. One can go there by car, share jeep or bus. It will take 2:30 hours to reach Darjeeling from NJP or siliguri.

Rasmancha : Rasmancha was build by malla king Hambir, this is the oldest structure of Bishnupur. Entry fee : ₹30/ head.
Gumghar :
A sasure structure located on the top of a small mound. Some opine that it was a prison while others believe it was a granery.
Shyamrai Temple : This is popularly known as Panchachura Temple because of its five pinnacles.
Jor Bangla Temple : Locally known as Kestorai Temple.
Radheshyam Temple : Just adjacent to Jor Bangla temple there is a temple with one pinnacle named as Radheshyam temple. There is an Islamic style gate infront of this temple.
Other places are : Lalji Temple, Stone Chariot, Madan Mohan temple, Dalmadal canon, Chinnamasta Temple, Bishnupur Mela, Bishnupur Pora Matir Haat (Every Saturday 1pm onwards), Baluchori Saree Shop and Panchmura Terracotta Village.
Entry fee: ₹30/head for Rasmancha, which can be used for other temples of Bishnupur.
Parking fee : ₹30 for each places.

ইতিহাস
জনশ্রুতি আছে যে, আরবী ‘‘বেড়ুহা’’ শব্দের অপভ্রংশ হচ্ছে ‘বেড়া’। এর পূর্বনাম ছিলো শম্ভুপুর। খ্রীস্ট জন্মের পূর্ব হতে উত্তরবঙ্গের নদনদীর সঙ্গমস্থল হিসেবে শম্ভুপুর ব্যাপক পরিচিত ছিল। এই শম্ভুপুরে তাই গড়ে উঠেছিল জনবসতি। নৌপথে জলদস্যুদের আক্রমণ আর প্রমত্তা নদীর উত্তাল স্রোত পেরিয়ে বেড়ার নিকটবর্তী হলেই তারা নিজেদের নিরাপদ ভাবতো। একারণে বেড়া নিরাপদ পোতাশ্রয়ের উদাহরণ হয়ে দাঁড়ায়। যতদূর জানা যায় ৮০০ খ্রিস্টাব্দের গোড়ার দিকে আরব বণিকেরা বেড়াতে তাদের অন্যতম প্রধান বাণিজ্যকেন্দ্র গড়ে তোলে। আবার সুলতানী শাসনামলে একবার আরবদেশে ভয়ঙ্কর এক দুর্ভিক্ষ হয়। সেই দুর্ভিক্ষের সময় এই দেশের বিভিন্ন অঞ্চল হতে খাদ্যশস্য সংগ্রহ করে বেড়া বন্দরের মাধ্যমে আরবদেশে পাঠানো হয়। ইংরেজ শাসনামলে জলদস্যু নিয়ন্ত্রণে প্রশাসনিক থানা ‘মথুরা’ যমুনার করালগ্রাসে নদীগর্ভে বিলীন হয়ে গেলে ১৮২৮ সালে যমুনার পশ্চিম উপকূলে বেড়া নামক স্থানে পুনঃস্থাপিত হয়। ১৯৬০ সালে বেড়া উন্নয়ন সার্কেল হিসেবে এর কার্য পরিধি অনেক বেড়ে যায়। ১৯৮৩ সালের ১৫ এপ্রিল বেড়া থানাকে উপজেলায় উন্নীত করা হয়।
নদীসমূহ
বেড়া উপজেলায় ৫টি নদী রয়েছে। নদীগুলো হচ্ছে গঙ্গা নদী, ইছামতি নদী, যমুনা নদী, বাদাই নদী এবং হুরাসাগর নদী।

পাবনা’ নামকরণ নিয়ে কিংবদন্তির অন্ত নেই। এক কিংবদন্তি মতে গঙ্গার ‘পাবনী’ নামক পূর্বগামিনী ধারা হতে পাবনা নামের উৎপত্তি হয়েছে। অপর একটি সূত্রে জানা যায় ‘পাবন’ বা ‘পাবনা’ নামের একজন দস্যুর আড্ডাস্থলই এক সময় পাবনা নামে পরিচিতি লাভ করে। অপরদিকে কিছু ঐতিহাসিক মনে করেন, ‘পাবনা’ নাম এসেছে ‘পদুম্বা’ থেকে। কালক্রমে পদুম্বাই স্বরসঙ্গতি রক্ষা করতে গিয়ে বা শব্দগত অন্য ব্যুৎপত্তি হয়ে পাবনা হয়েছে। ‘পদুম্বা’ জনপদের প্রথম সাক্ষাৎ মিলে খ্রিষ্টীয় একাদশ শতকে পাল নৃপতি রামপালের শাসনকালে। ইতিহাসে উল্লেখ আছে, রামপাল হ্নতরাজ্য বরেন্দ্র কৈবর্ত শাসকদের নিকট থেকে পুনরুদ্ধারের জন্য যে চৌদ্দজন সাহায্যকারীর শরণাপন্ন হয়েছিলেন -এঁদেরই একজন ছিলেন পদুম্বার সোম নামক জনৈক সামন্ত। আবার অনেকের মতে পৌন্ড্রবর্ধন হতে পাবনা নামের উৎপত্তি হয়েছে। তাঁরা বলেন পৌন্ড্রবর্ধনের বহু জনপদ গঙ্গার উত্তর দিকে অবস্থিত ছিল। চলতি ভাষায় পুন্ড্রুবর্ধন বা পৌন্ড্রবর্ধন পোনবর্ধন বা পোবাবর্ধন রূপে উচ্চারিত হতে হতে পাবনা হয়েছে।

কিভাবে যাবেনঃ
* প্রথমে ড্রিম হলিডে পার্ক জাবেন ।
বনানি হতে পিপিএল সুপার এবং গুলিস্থান হতে মেঘালয় লাক্সারি বাসে ড্রিম হলিডে পার্কের প্রধান ফটকের সামনে নামতে ৯০ থেকে ১০০ টাকা ভাড়া লাগে।
*ড্রিম হলিডে পার্ক থেকে ভাই গিরিশ চন্দ্র সেনের বাড়ি খুব কাছে বাস ভাড়া মাত্র ১৫ টাকা এবং অটো ভাড়া ৬০ টাকা ।
*ভাই গিরিশ চন্দ্র সেনের বাড়ি থেকে লক্ষণ সাহার জমিদার বাড়ি যেতে হলে নরসিংদী জেলা থেকে পাঁচদোনা মোড় গিয়ে জনপ্রতি ২০ টাকা ভাড়ায় ডাংগা বাজার পৌঁছে রিক্সা কিংবা পায়ে হেঁটে অনায়াসে উকিলের বাড়ি বা লক্ষণ সাহার জমিদার বাড়িতে চলে যেতে পারবেন।
*লক্ষণ সাহার জমিদার বাড়ি থেকে চলে যাবেন চিনিশপুর কালী মন্দিরে যেখানে অটো ভাড়া ১০০ - ১৫০ টাকা ।
*চিনিশপুর কালী মন্দির থেকে আটকান্দি মসজিদ যেতে হলে নরসিংদী পুরাতন বাসস্ট্যান্ড চলে আসুন। সেখান থেকে রিকশা নিয়ে আরশিনগর সিএনজি স্ট্যান্ড এসে সিএনজিতে চড়ে আমিরগঞ্জ রেলওয়ে ষ্টেশন আসতে হবে। আমিরগঞ্জ হতে রিকশা বা সিএনজি নিয়ে আটকান্দি নীলকুঠি মসজিদ যেতে পারবেন।
