Le plus beau voyage c'est celui que l'on n'a pas encore fait.
Cela fait deux semaines que nous avons quitté la Nouvelle-Calédonie.
Un départ chargé d'émotions, fort de deux mois d'aventures complètement imprévues et riches en rencontres.
Jamais nous n'aurions imaginé vivre ces moments avec des personnes qui nous étaient inconnues il y a encore quelques semaines.
Aujourd'hui ce sont des amis.
Nous sommes maintenant en Polynésie française, au beau milieu de l’océan pacifique. 5 archipels et 118 îles s’offrent à nous.
Nous sommes le 15 Juillet 2022, c’est le 106ème jours depuis notre départ de Nouvelle-Zélande et nous continuons notre voyage de retour vers la France.

Outside the Circle - The 2014 New Zealand Edition
You know the story - we rope in a bunch of pipers and drummers to do their thing for the camera. This time it's a whole lot of dancing outside the circle at the 2014 New Zealand National Pipe Band Championships held in Tauranga.

Ahh, the memories of a free world without restrictions. Join us as we explore this vibrant, beautiful and, in many parts, unspoiled country.
My first attempt at editing and I think I have the frame rate wrong in transitioning from editing to rendering post edit video, hence the poor quality and weird vision in some of the shots, I'll revisit this video and try again at some point.
Originally, this trip was organized for myself, daughter and wife (not my daughter’s biological mother). However, once at the airport, luggage at the ready for check-in, we discovered that my wife required a Visa to enter New Caledonia. Somehow, we all missed this. My daughter and I were fine as we were Australian citizens but my wife, who is a permanent resident but not yet an Australian citizen and still using her Philippines passport, required a Visa. We were flying out on the weekend and the French embassy (New Caledonia is a French territory) was closed so we could not appeal or ask for an exemption, which would have taken several days to consider, anyway. After much deliberation, my wife gave us the green light to go ahead without her as it would have been a waste for all of us to abandon the trip so close to departure, so off we went! Enjoy.
