Большую часть территории Болгарии (примерно 70%) составляют горы и холмы, что в свою очередь наградило болгар прекрасными видами и уникальным мягким климатом. Прохладные бризы, освежающие летнюю жару, спокойное тихое море без приливов и отливов - все это Болгария.
Многие туристы выбирают для отдыха Болгарию как раз из-за отсутствия проблем с акклиматизацией, а также из-за недолгого перелета. Хорошо подходит Болгария и для любителей автотуризма благодаря сравнительно короткому расстоянию между городами и неплохим европейским дорогам.

Bulgaria, Golden Sands 2018 - Holiday with Girlfriend
We traveled to the known tourist location Golden Sands in Bulgaria. The winds were so strong that we almost missed the chance to enjoy the sea and the yacht picnic on a (slightly more) remote beach. But we enjoyed ourselves nevertheless.

Exploring the coast and beaches in Bulgaria near Sunny Beach and the countryside around Nesebar and Sunny Beach. I drove up to the cape from Irakli Beach on a dirt road around 6 km and then went hiking up to the landmark The Cross to see the sunset.

Sunny Beach, Bulgaria - What Happens in Sunny Beach? LOTS! ????????
Sunny Beach is Bulgaria's top sun holiday resort with loads to see and do, beautiful beaches and wild nightlife! ????️
We did so much on our holiday in Sunny Beach - from enjoying nights out in the bars and clubs on Flower Street to sightseeing in Nesebar and Sozopol. We'd a really great time.
Sunny Beach is the biggest seaside resort on Bulgaria's Black Sea coast. The nearest city is Burgas with Varna not too far away either.
We stayed at the HI Hotels Imperial Resort which was ideal for us. It was close to shops and restaurants and just a short walk to the beach. The rooms were really nice, the food was delicious and there was some good entertainment. The pool was perfect without ever being overly busy. It was always nice and relaxing lying in the sun by the pool.
Sunny Beach has really nice beaches too and we never found them crowded. There's some lovely restaurants along the beachfront. You can do water sports too if that takes your fancy.
Sunny Beach is famous for its wild nightlife and the action on Flower Street keeps going til the early hours. If you're into clubbing, it's a perfect spot for you. We went quite early in the season so not everything was fully open but the bars and clubs were still hoping. It's definitely a party town!
There's lots to do for kids and families in Sunny Beach too though. We had a great day in Action Aquapark. It's the biggest water park in Sunny Beach and has loads of water slides and pools. It was really quiet on the day we went so we had the water slides to ourselves for most of the day. The Uphill Water Coaster is great. We did quite a few laps of the Lazy River.
We did some sightseeing while we were in Sunny Beach too! We went to Khan's Tent which has amazing views over the town and Black Sea below. Apparently they have a really good Bulgarian show and dinner there in the evening.
We visited the town of Nesebar which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has been occupied since the 6th century BC and has a total of 46 churches on a small island. You can ramble through cobblestone streets with the ruins of the town walls and old buildings all around. It's a really nice place. If you want something that's a world away from sitting at the pool in Sunny Beach without going too far, Nesebar is worth seeing.
We did an excursion to Sozopol which is little further down the coast. We went on a sailboat on the Black Sea for a couple of hours and then visited the old medieval town. There's lots of old wooden buildings and stone ruins.
You HAVE to see Ravadinovo Castle if you go to Sozopol. It's one of the strangest sights you'll see anywhere! Basically, a rich Bulgarian built his own fairy tale castle. If that's not enough, there's a vampire skeleton too!
Sunny Beach, Bulgaria is a great sun holiday, perfect for all ages with lots to see and do! We loved it!
