You are required to take a covid test 3 days before departure and submit your results along with the covid vaccine card on their portal. The approval process was quick and easy. The indoor mask mandate is still in place but the restaurants were pretty lenient and some did not care if we wore a mask.

When ever Castaway Crystal and I are on island for more than two days I always rent a car. And when I say car, I mean Jeep. I'm a Jeep guy through and through. They might be a little more expensive than a tiny Civic or something like that, but they are worth it. Some of those island roads can get adventurous.

We travel with a Microsoft Surface everywhere we go. I edit my videos on it & use it to backup my pictures and vides while we travel. It’s light and the best travel laptop on the market in my opinion.
We use Sony Alpha series cameras to film our videos. They are compact so you don’t look like a super tourist when you take great pictures and videos while you travel.
We use Manfrotto Tripods. They are compact, travel well, and honestly I would not use another tripod for my nice cameras.
Travel Plug that works in pretty much any country & has four USB ports. A must for any traveler.

We're in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos and talking about costs. The Turks and Caicos islands are very expensive. It would be difficult to come here on a very strict budget so in this video we're talking about how expensive are the Turks and Caicos islands.
We start off talking about accommodations and take you on a tour of our AirBNB rental which happened to be very affordable for the island. It was in the Turtle Cove area and included access to a pool.

Later we head out in our rental car to Turks Kebab for lunch and later to Grace Bay Beach.
Throughout the course of the video we discuss the costs of rental cars, taxis, restaurants and drinks (including happy hour, beer, wine and cocktails).
We also discuss the costs of beach chair rentals and groceries.
Be prepared to spend some money if you're coming to Turks and Caicos!

DRIVING GRACE BAY | Turks and Caicos Islands
The Grace Bay region on the island of Providenciales is the center of tourism, upscale shopping, and dining in the Turks and Caicos. Many of the islands resorts and hotels are located in this area.
Grace Bay is located on the north-eastern side of Providenciales, and spans an area roughly .5 miles by 2 miles. It’s bordered by The Bight community on its west side, Leeward on its east side, and the Long Bay area to the southeast. Abstractly, the expansive Beaches Turks and Caicos family all-inclusive resort defines the western edge of Grace Bay, and on the east by the Venetian condo-resort and Leeward Beach.
