Belize brims with natural beauty. A top spot for eco-tourists, this fascinating country lies in Central America, between Mexico and Guatemala, and was known as British Honduras during its colonial days. Belize has some of the best snorkeling and scuba diving in the world, which may be the primary reason the country is on your bucket list. Coral and marine life is rich and diverse since it is home to the second-longest barrier reef in the world (after the one in Australia). Off the coast, there is a gigantic circular sinkhole known as The Great Blue Hole that is 354 feet (108 meters) deep and 984 feet (300 meters) broad. Although it's intended for seasoned divers, beginners can reserve a helicopter trip for an incredible aerial view.

After 15 years of traveling the world as a content creator, I finally made it to my 97th country, Belize! At just a two-hour flight from my hometown of Miami, it’s a wonder I’d never made it there before now, but now, I was ready to explore the country in-depth!
???????? Grenada Travel Series:
TAYSHA’S GRILL: At this small shop near the airport, I tried the national dish (rice and beans) with stewed chicken, plantains, macaroni salad, pickled onions with habaneros, and a Belikin beer!
ORIGINAL #1 PUPESERIA SALVADOREÑO: Here, I tried freshly-made mozzarella cheese pupusas topped with cabbage and tomato sauce. The habañero hot sauce and roasted garlic hot sauce are extremely hot!
NERI’S TACOS: Here, I had a fish empanada, as well as garnachas (fried, puffy tortillas topped with beans, cheese, and chicken). I washed it down with some horchata, a rice milk drink with sugar and cinnamon.
BLACK & WHITE GARIFUNA RESTAURANT: Here, I had some strong, herbal rum!
STREET VENDOR: We came across a vendor selling street tacos. The beef with chilies, lettuce, guacamole, and cheese was an amazing fusion of Latin foods!
PARADISE ICE CREAM: Here, I ended my day with their incredible Chocolate Suicide flavor on a waffle cone. The dark chocolate was excellent and a refreshing way to end my street food tour of San Pedro!
