Itanagar is the capital of the northeast Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. India's MOST beautiful place that made me come back after 5 years! Mechuka, Arunachal Pradesh
This is Mechuka in Arunachal Pradesh! And I re-visited after 5 long years. And if you're an Indian, you'll need an Inner Line Permit (ILP) to get here -
You can get the inner line permit online or at the border on working days.
And if you are a foreigner, you'll need to apply for a Protected Area Permit (PAP)
Mind you, the road journey to this place is really long, and you'll have to take a break at Aalo in between. For which I recommend Reyi Homestay.

Ziro is a town and the district headquarters of the Lower Subansiri district in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. It is included the Tentative List for UNESCO's World Heritage Site for the Apatani cultural landscape.[1][2][3][4] The part of the town which is the centre of economic activities and where the administrative offices are located is called as Hapoli or locally known by the Apatanis as Hao-Polyang.

Ziro, 167 km from Itanagar is a beautiful plateau and the headquarters of Lower Subansiri District. It is one of the oldest towns in Arunachal Pradesh. This beautiful hill station is located 1500 metres above sea level. The place has an imposing landscape of beautiful lush green forest, rivulets and elevated patches. It is famous for paddy-cum-pisciculture cultivation. The area is renowned for the terrace paddy fields where the unique system of poly-culture and water management is practiced by the local people.
Mainly inhabited by the Apatani tribe, the town wears a festive look during festivals celebrated by the Apatani people.

Ziro is around 115 km from the state capital Itanagar and takes approx 3 and a half hours via the improved Hoj-Potin road along NH229 and 150 km via the Assam route. Earlier the nearest railway station from Ziro was located at Naharlagun in Arunachal Pradesh near the Arunachal-Assam border which is around 100 km from Ziro. The nearest airport to the settlement is Lilabari, in North Lakhimpur district of Assam (India).[citation needed]
Ziro is also an Advance Landing Ground (ALG) of Indian Air Force.

Here in this valley, purely the indigenous native tribe are the APATANIS were staying for long and primitive before British came to India . Here the Apatanis has much more rich culture and festivities for the every year under in comparison to any other indigenous tribe in Arunachal Pradesh. You may come to avail and enjoy all these colourful festivities in the mean time. To reached Ziro , its distance in kilometers from Itanagar 112, North Lakhimpur 118, Tezpur 238, from Guawahati 455.
Trek to Hakhe Tari, Ziro|Place to visit in Ziro|Northeast India, Arunachal Pradesh|
Here are some of my clip of Hakhe-tari , i.e located in Ziro Circle , lower subansiri district, Arunachal Pradesh. It is situated 16km away from Old Ziro and 9km away from Hapoli town.
Hakhe-tari valley is filled with flower locally known as Neha Apu or Baga rinyo which is termed scientifically as Primula denticulate, which is the main attraction of the place. And most importantly the best time to visit the place to experience the flowering of valley is spring season from 2nd week of March till the end of March. Our time of Trek to this place was during the end of March.
This is one of the place you guys should visit if you are at ziro or you want some peaceful time with nature.
