Just an hour from Shanghai, Hangzhou is a popular day trip for Shanghai residents and tourists alike. Popular for the world-renowned Zhejiang University, the breath taking West Lake Scenic Area, and the Meijiawu and Longjing Tea Plantations, it’s definitely on my list of must-see cities. Even Marco Polo thought the same!

Everyone didn’t come out. I drove in the central business district. There was no traffic jam, and it was very pleasant.
Hangzhou is a famous tourist city in China.
Hangzhou is the capital of Zhejiang Province and the local political, economic and cultural center.
As the southern terminus of the Grand Canal, the city is located on the lower reaches of the Qiantang River in southeast China, a superior position in the Yangtze Delta and only 112 mi (180 km) from Shanghai.
The subtropical monsoon climate contributes to varied seasonal sceneries, making Hangzhou one of China's most popular travel destinations all the year round.
The West Lake is undoubtedly the most renowned landmark, noted for the scenic beauty that blends naturally with many famous historical and cultural sites. The Ten West Lake Prospects selected from the most frequently visited attractions around the lake give travelers a panoramic view of the city’s highlights. Huzhou (prefecture-level city in Zhejiang Province)
Huzhou is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Zhejiang Province. It is one of the 27 cities in the central area of the Yangtze River Delta, the core city of the Hangzhou Bay Greater Bay Area, and the central city of the G60 Science and Technology Corridor. It is located in the north of Zhejiang Province and the intersection of Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Anhui. It is adjacent to Jiaxing in the east, Hangzhou in the south, Tianmu Mountain in the west, Taihu Lake in the north, and Wuxi and Suzhou across the lake. It is a city named after the lake in the Taihu Lake area. Located on the south bank of Lake Taihu, at the confluence of East Tiao River and West Tiao River. It consists of 2 districts and 3 counties, covering an area of 5,820.13 square kilometers.
Huzhou is an ancient city in the south of the Yangtze River with a history of more than 2,300 years. It was founded in the Warring States Period and has many natural and historical and cultural landscapes, such as Mogan Mountain and Nanxun Ancient Town. Huzhou is a national historical and cultural city, a national forest city, a national garden city, and a national sanitary city. It has native products such as Shuangdu Snow Lotus Root and Taihu Lily. It is also the birthplace of modern lake merchants.
