Number 7. Goethe House And Museum
If you want to know what the best things to do in Frankfurt are, you should go to the home where Johann Wolfgang von Goethe grew up. Goethe House is where he was born in 1749. He is known as Germany's best writer. He lived there until 1765, and now people can see how a wealthy family and their servants lived. Goethe's writing room, where he started many of his early projects, is on the top floor.
Number 6. Kleinmarkthalle
If you want to try out the local food, going to Kleinmarkthalle will be one of the best things you can do in Frankfurt. Locals love this market, and even if you don't want to buy anything, it's worth going to see. The market hall was built in 1954, and there are 150 stalls inside that sell some of the best local food in the country.
Number 5. Frankfurt Cathedral
In this German city, you have to see the Frankfurt Cathedral. St. Bartholomew's Cathedral is the full name of the Roman Catholic cathedral, but the locals call it Frankfurter Dom. The beautiful building is made of red sandstone, which gives it a bright colour that stands out in a city full of tall buildings.
Number 4. The Palm Garden
When it comes to the best things to do in Frankfurt, The Palm Garden has to be near the top. Since 1871, people have been able to visit this 54-acre garden, which is the largest in the country. You can look at outdoor botanical displays that have been set up to show where they are from. There are also a number of greenhouses where you can see tropical and subtropical plants.

On any list of fun things to do in Frankfurt, the Maintower has to be on it. This 200-meter-tall tower is in the middle of Frankfurt's Inner City. It has 56 floors and is one of the largest buildings in Germany. The Maintower was finished in 1999. It has a beautiful viewing platform on the roof. At the top of the Maintower, there are two places to look out that are open to the public.

The Museum District is in Museumsufer, which is one of the best places to visit in Frankfurt. It has 16 museums on both the north and south sides of the River Main. The Stadel Art Museum, the Museum of World Cultures, and the Museum of Ancient Sculpture all show different parts of Frankfurt's history and culture. The Icon Museum is a rare place to see more than a thousand Christian Orthodox images. It is well worth a visit.

There are many locals and tourist strolling around the stores and restaurants on this August afternoon. This is a very large shopping area with many stores and restaurants. This area is in the Frankfurt financial district close to the historical Frankfurt Bourse stock exchange and the Alte Oper opera house.

Hi Walkers, in this episode of Frankfurt Walking Tour, we will walk around Frankfurt Zeil Shopping Street from Hauptwache to Konstablerwache.
The Zeil is a street in the city centre of Frankfurt, Germany. The name, which dates back to the 14th century, is derived from the German word Zeile row and originally referred to a row of houses on the eastern end of the north side; the name was not extended to the entire street until later.
Hauptwache literally Main Guardroom is a central point of Frankfurt am Main and is one of the most famous plazas (German: An der Hauptwache) in the city. The original name Schillerplatz was superseded in the early 1900s. It lies to the west of Konstablerwache with both squares linked by the Zeil, the central shopping area of the city.
Konstablerwache is a central square in the centre of Frankfurt am Main and part of its pedestrian zone. It lies to the east of Hauptwache with both squares linked by the Zeil, the central shopping area of the city.

Frankfurt Zeil | Goethestraße (Luxury Street) | Alte Oper, Germany
Hi everyone, join me in another Frankfurt Walking Tour. We will walk passing the Frankfurt Alte Oper, through Goethestraße (the Luxury Street) and then along the Zeil Shopping Street in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
Alte Oper (Old Opera) is a concert hall in Frankfurt am Main, Hesse, Germany. It is located in the inner city, Innenstadt, within the banking district Bankenviertel. Today's Alte Oper was built in 1880 as the city's opera house, which was destroyed by bombs in 1944. It was rebuilt in the 1970s as a concert hall with a large hall and smaller venues, opened in 1981. The square in front of the building is still known as Opernplatz (Opera Square).
Goethestraße is a luxury shopping street in the city centre of Frankfurt, Germany, located between Opernplatz (in the west) and Börsenstraße and Goetheplatz (in the east) in the district of Innenstadt and within the Opera Quarter and the broader central business district known as the Bankenviertel. It is a parallel street of Freßgass and located in the immediate vicinity of Kaiserhofstraße. The street is Germany's third-busiest luxury shopping street
Zeil is a famous shopping street in Frankfurt. Those interested in brand names and designer labels will find everything they’re looking for on the very popular “Zeil” shopping promenade. Be it clothing or footwear, jewellery or consumer electronics, here at the “Zeil”, shoppers are guaranteed to have all of their retail requirements fulfilled.
