Possibly the Best Small Town in Ohio: Yellow Springs
There's a town in between Columbus and Dayton, which gets rave reviews from just about everyone who visits. Yellow Springs has history, art, nature and an overwhelming sense that people can be whoever they want to be.
I spent the day there on July 4th. It was a celebration of independence unlike any I've ever experienced.

John Bryan State Park: A Must Visit In Ohio
There are so many great Ohio State Parks, but what is your favorite? Mine is John Bryan State Park in Yellow Springs, Ohio. It is certainly the most beautiful in Southwestern Ohio. John Bryan State Park offers camping, 10 hiking trails, rock climbing and a rappelling area. It is also located next to Clifton Gorge Nature Preserve which is also a beautiful area. The park is very popular and the best time to go is early in the morning. While visiting John Bryan State Park, make sure you visit Yellow Springs. The eclectic town offers a variety of shopping, great food (Sunrise Cafe, HaHa Pizza, Ye Olde Trail Tavern) and one of the best breweries around (Yellow Springs Brewery). Make sure you also visit Young's Dairy for some amazing ice cream.
