For the longest time, we had no idea that the area around Hoover Dam has so many awesome hidden gems, one of which is the Arizona Hot Springs also known as Ringbolt Hot Springs. If you’ve done Gold Strike Hot Springs, the Arizona Hot Springs trail is a lot easier, but the views are also spectacular. While Gold Strike Hot Springs is located on the Nevada side of the Colorado River, Arizona Hot Springs, as its name suggested, is located on the Arizona side. You’ll have to work for it to get there, but you’ll be rewarded with gorgeous views of the clear blue water from the Colorado River, colorful slot canyons, and beautiful pools of therapeutic hot springs.

We are in Texas Hill Country in search of Texas Wildflowers and the state flower, Bluebonnets. We are giving you are top 3 places to view Texas Wildflowers. Texas Hill Country is a large region located in Central Texas that include two great cities, San Antonio and Austin. The best time to come to see the wildflowers is between March and May, with April being the peak wildflower season. So where do you go to see Bluebonnets? Where do you go to see Texas Wildflowers?

#3 Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. This is Texas's state botanical garden and arboretum. It's home to over 900 native Texas plants, including fields of Bluebonnets. We made sure to get of family picture of us among the cascade of blue flowering plants and the Lone Star States state flower.
#2 Wildseed Farms. Wildseed Farms is located in Fredericksburg, Texas. It is the largest wildflower farm in the country. This farm grows fields of all different types and colors of wildflowers. They grow the flowers for their seeds. They harvest the seeds after the flower dies and packages them up for sale. Our favorites were the Red Corn Poppies.
#1 Willow City Loop. This is the most iconic scenic drive in Texas Hill Country. The narrow dirt roads has splashes of color growing all around. Make sure you pull over plenty of time to frolic in the different types of wildflowers such as bluebonnets, Yellow and white daisies, Horsemint, Verbena, Phlox, Coreopsis, Indian Paintbrush, Mexican Poppies and more.
We also stop at our favorite Texas BBQ, The Salt Lick!

How to Find Liberty Bell Arch | Willow Beach, AZ
The shoreline of the Colorado River under the Hoover Dam is full of hidden gems, one of which is the Liberty Bell Arch. Liberty Bell Arch, located near Willow Beach in Arizona, is a big rock arch named for its resemblance to the famous Liberty Bell at the Independence National Historic Park in Pennsylvania. Even though it is a challenging hike, especially in warmer weather, the views are definitely worth it. Not only you’ll get to see the namesake Liberty Bell arch, but you’ll also get to see the beautiful view of the Colorado River from the overlook. You can either do this hike as an out and back or loop it in with Arizona Hot Springs Trail and make it into a full-day adventure. And guess what, it's only 40 minutes from Las Vegas!
