12. Bangor, Northern Ireland

It’s now known as the Queen of the Cotswolds because of its heritage architecture and unique landscapes. The stunning Rococo Garden opening in warmer months makes that season memorable.

The next is Sandwich, a historic town in the Dover District of Kent in southeast England. The civil parish lies on the River Stour. There are top things to do in London in general when you are exploring the city as an adult, but if you are travelling along with your kids then it is important to consider some places that would end up being interesting for them.
There are lots of attractions in London that could turn any trip to a more interesting one, but since we are trying to shed the lights on the places that people could visit with their kids then there are top 10 things to do in London for kids which we will recommend through this video:
10 - Visit Namco Funscape: this is one of the fun things that adults enjoy as much as kids do and this is one of the different recommendations that we will give travelers because there the kids could enjoy lots of games, like Pac-Man Soft Play, American pool tables, the latest arcade games, ten-pin bowling and they could even eat and drink in the place.
9 - Enjoy the Beautiful Scenery of Big Ben: Big Ben is a must see for all those going to London, big and small, but it is still considered one thing to stress on when it comes to the places and things that adults should tell their kids about and get the chance to show them as well (
8 - Climb Aboard HMS Belfast: HMS Belfast is a town-class light cruiser that was built for the Royal Navy and it is now a museum ship on the River Thames in London. As much as the front display and the name attracted us, the whole idea behind the place and the inside decoration made us want to stay there forever; it gives you lots of different cereal types and brands and let you sit in an old-like simple atmosphere. Since the kids are crazy about cereal, you could take them for a snack there one day (
4 - Visit M&M's World: M&M's World is a shop located in London that offers all the admirers the chance to come inside and experience different things which they might have never even knew existed in the world of M&M's. This is another location which the kids will find themselves happy while walking around, checking all the products and even getting some M&M's back home with them (
3 - Discover the Natural History Museum: as much as choosing the places which the kids will enjoy themselves at, such as playing games or discovering their favorite characters, it is also important that the parents take them to places in which they are going to learn something, such as the Natural History Museum in London (

10 Worst Seaside Resort Towns in The UK
What are the worst seaside resorts in the UK? Anyone leaving home to spend some time at a resort is going with high expectations. There are tons of things to do at seaside resorts. However, it’s not all seaside resorts that live up to their designation. Some of them could be better described as anything else but resorts. Some of these pseudo-seaside resorts are there in the UK. We hereby present to you the 10 worst seaside resorts in the UK.
After considering each of them, the choice is yours to patronize them or steer clear of them. These seaside resorts in the UK were rated based on several features that are expected in seaside resorts and they were weighted over 100 points. The following are the scores.
10. Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset, England
Burnham-on-Sea is a seaside town located in Somerset, England. You would be fair to this place at the mouth of the Parrett River, upon Bridgwater Bay, if you reckon with it as a fishing village or town, for the sake of respect, that it used to be until the late 1700s when it began to grow.
While the park at Burnham-on-Sea was lovely with clean facilities and lots of activities, the resort could not score more than 48 points. The onsite pizza costs too much; you need a 10-minute walk to get a better deal. Most of the accommodation here is caravans without heating in the bedrooms. The bedding quality of the rooms is begging to be upgraded.
9. Colwyn Bay, Conwy, Wales
Colwyn Bay, a town and community in Conwy County Borough cannot escape our attention. Conwy is on the north coast of Wales where it is overlooking the Irish Sea. The town of Colwyn Bay is recognized as a seaside resort within the historic county of Denbighshire, no doubt. But what is in doubt is the quality of the resort. From what we know Colwyn Bay can’t earn more than 58 points.
Yes, the clean rooms, the security, and proximity to the North Wales Expressway, the railway station, and the beach count for something. However, the services were generally poor. The rooms are freezing without a heater and electrical fittings including plumbing were not being maintained. The food options were zero.
8. Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, England
Then next is Great Yarmouth. Joining them in removing the prefix “great,” let’s comfortably join in referring to it by just Yarmouth which is more fitting than Great Yarmouth. In any case, it is recognized as a seaside resort town in Norfolk, there in England. Straddling the River Yare, it is located 30 kilometers east of Norwich.
As a seaside resort, Yarmouth ties with its more neighborly Burnham-on-Sea and Colwyn Bay in Wales to score 58. Though it has sandy beaches and two historic piers, amusement rides, and restaurants, Yarmouth as Norfolk’s flagship beach town is always crammed. Holidaymakers during the summertime suffer disorderliness here as if there are more services than the management could handle in an organized manner.
7. Morecambe, Lancashire, England
Morecambe is a town in the City of Lancaster in Lancashire, England. It’s hard to understand why Morecambe is still being referred to as a seaside resort. Up until the mid-20th century, it was a thriving seaside resort. Then it was home to the country’s largest Pontins resort.

Jaywick Essex Walkabout one of the UK`s most deprived areas
Jaywick was originally a holiday resort for Londoners but fell into decline when foreign travel took off from the 60`s onwards. The UK has always has a chronic housing shortage so many of the holiday chalets were let out to people on low incomes. Many of the chalets do not meet modern housing standards and when this occurs Social Issues arise. Government money to the area is slow in coming and poor quality standards are also blamed on chalet landlords who simply have no interest in the upkeep of their properties.

When we arrived in Keswick after a short drive from Ambleside we were greeted with a bustling little town with a thriving market, great pubs and hotels and friendly people. It's easy to see why this is a really popular holiday and tourist destination.
Here's what the Keswick Tourist Information Website has to say about the place
Keswick is both the most northerly of the Lake District’s towns and maybe its best located: at the northern end of beautiful Derwentwater, it’s surrounded by large fells including Skiddaw and Blencathra, two of the most popular among walkers and hikers. It’s also the perfect spot to explore this part of the national park, notably the valleys of Borrowdale and Buttermere.
Right in the heart of the Lake District National Park, Keswick is still only 20 minutes from the M6 – and close enough to some of the Lake District’s best-known lakes, including Bassenthwaite, Thirlmere and Ullswater as well as Derwentwater. Fancy some fell-waking? There’s Skiddaw and Blencathra, but don’t forget Grizedale Pike and Catbells, a fell that is popular with walkers of all ages and abilities.

A Guide to Weather in Scotland
Scotland’s weather is a whole other topic of conversation that typically comes up in everyday chat at least once or twice. Our weather can be unpredictable and changes so often that you may well experience all four seasons in one day, but it’s unlikely. The best advice we can give you is: be prepared!
Scottish weather is often mild, with a moderate chance of rain, but that never stops us from making the most of the day, no matter what the weather throws at us. From windy walks on the beach or sunny bike rides on woodland trails, to gorge walking in the drizzle or skiing and snowboarding on real snow – there’s plenty you can do come rain or shine (or even snow!).
Scotland forms the top of the small, northerly island of the United Kingdom, meaning no matter where you decide to visit, you won’t be far from a glorious beach or seaside location. This also means we have the exposure of the arctic air off the North Sea, as well as the warm swells of the Gulf Steam. However, these balance each other out, giving Scotland a temperate maritime climate for a large part of the year.
There are a few things to remember to bring with you to make sure your time in Scotland is enjoyable and memorable:
- The right clothing! There’s nothing worse than being stuck outdoors without the right jacket or pair of shoes for the terrain or landscape you’re on.
- An umbrella always comes in handy for those unexpected showers.
- Sunglasses may be needed for those glorious days of sunshine… yes, we do see the sun in Scotland!
- Remember to layer up. Bring plenty of t-shirts and a snug jumper, or why not buy a knitted jumper made of Scottish wool while you’re here?
Scotland’s varied weather benefits a lot outdoor pursuits, activities and sightseeing opportunities across the country. Our long summer days mean you have more daylight to explore Scotland’s landscape and the further north you go the more daylight you get, so this is a great time to explore the Highlands and northern corners of Scotland.
With the strong, steady currents, the Atlantic and North seas can produce some of the best surfing conditions in Europe. There are miles of picturesque coastline that provide the perfect location to try your hand at surfing, or a range of other watersports too.
