Welcome to the Jurassic Coast! In this video We are visiting the Top 10 landmarks and attractions throughout the Jurassic Coast that I would suggest to anyone visiting Dorset for the perfect Dorset holiday!
The Jurassic Coast is home to so many things to see and do including the famous Durdle Door and Lulworth cove as well as some lesser known gems, all that I will be showing you in this video! So join us as we adventure across the Jurassic Coast from the Old Harry rocks at it's most easterly point to the Incredible Isle of Portland at it's most westerly point!
In the first part of this 2 part Dorset series we visited Corfe Castle, The Blue Pool and Agglestone rock.

So we begin the video at some of the iconic locations on the Jurassic Coast such as at Durdle Door, Durdle Door Beach, Old Harry Rocks and the amazing clifftop coastal hike to Lulworth Cove.
After this we head inland to the iconic locations such as Corfe Castle, The Blue Pool, Shaftesbury, Agglestone Rock and more!
And to finish off we head over to the west side of Dorset for a look into the Isle of Portland and its surrounding attractions.

????Weymouth is a popular seaside town for visitors, it includes a wide promenade and pedestrianised streets. We parked at the Swannery, which has toilets and the postcode is DT4 7TY. It has a busy harbour with a thriving fishing industry. ❤????
????West Bay is not far down the road from Bridport and shows you a part of the dramatic Jurassic coastline. East beach is dog friendly. We parked at DT6 4EL which included toilets❤.
????Portland & Chesil Beach ???? – it is worth a drive to the top to get some amazing views of Chesil beach. A UNESCO coastline, with stones of up to 10,000 years old. It is dog friendly all year round ????.
????Lyme Regis a historic seaside resort, is also part of the Jurassic coast and provides some beautiful scenery. We parked near Monmouth beach, where dogs are allowed and there are toilets, the post code was DT7 3LW ????❤
????Bridport is another local town with a bustling market each Wednesday and Saturday. ????

[Filmed October 13, 2020] PLEASE NOTE: The county of Dorset (where Weymouth is located) was in Tier 1 on the date that this video was filmed, and we traveled there from another Tier 1 location (Portsmouth, Hampshire). All hands-face-space guidelines were followed, and Derek and I strictly adhered to all local rules and regulations.
As the UK continues to ease out of its spring 2021 lockdown, I feel it’s a good time yet again to continue sharing our socially-distanced adventures throughout England and Scotland last autumn!
In this video, Derek and I drove from Portsmouth to Weymouth to explore the beautiful coastal town. We both worked that morning, so we were fairly sleepy throughout most of the day. With that said, please do be kind to us about some the funny dialogue in this vlog! It was fun to be able to tease ourselves a little bit about some of our lines! :-)
With that, come follow along as we explore the town of Weymouth, visit the beach, walk around Nothe Fort, grab a pint at two separate pubs along Weymouth Harbour, and dine at an Italian restaurant called Enzo.

BEST PORT IN THE UK??? Weymouth is SO MUCH MORE Than We Expected - Norwegian Prima Cruise
We spent time in London prior to jumping on Norwegian Prima... but we are back in the UK in port! Technically we dock in Portland, which is an island on the Southern coast of England, but we take a double-decker bus into the town of Weymouth. Everyone has told us that the UK feels completely different outside of London and they were so right!
This port town is charming! Everything is in walking distance and there are kind local volunteers when you get off the bus who hand you a map and tell you where to go. Walking along the bay, we see the brightly colored buildings full of shops, restaurants, hotels and pubs. This is a seaside town for the UK residents as well as a port stop for cruise ships. So it has a great local vibe. We walk, we sit on the beach, we have some great food, we walk some more. It was a fantastic day in port!!

WEYMOUTH Dorset August 2021 - Town Centre & Harbour - 4K Virtual Walk
Join us for a walk in Weymouth, Dorset, England. We walk through Weymouth town centre, finishing our walk at Weymouth harbour.
Weymouth is a seaside town in Dorset, southern England. Its sandy beach is dotted with colourful beach huts and backed by Georgian houses. Jurassic Skyline, a revolving viewing tower, and Victorian Nothe Fort offer harbour views. Weymouth Sealife Park is home to sharks, turtles and stingrays.
Blue Flag winning Weymouth Beach is consistently recognised as one of the top ten beach destinations in Europe and it's easy to see why. With beautiful golden sands sprinkled with deckchairs, safe shallow waters, an action packed events programme and pretty harbourside, you can see why Weymouth is so popular and a perfect place for an English seaside holiday. Children can enjoy donkey rides along the beach and traditional Punch and Judy shows. There are also plenty of funfair rides along Weymouth seafront.
Weymouth's esplanade is composed of Georgian terraces, which have been converted into apartments, shops, hotels and guest houses. The buildings were constructed in the Georgian and Regency periods between 1770 and 1855. These terraces form a long, continuous arc of buildings which face Weymouth Bay along the esplanade. The Jubilee Clock Tower is a free-standing clock tower on the Esplanade of Weymouth, Dorset, England. It was built and erected in 1888 to commemorate the Golden jubilee of Queen Victoria and became Grade II Listed in 1974.
A seaside resort, Weymouth and its economy depend on tourism. Visitors are attracted by its harbour and position, halfway along the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site, important for its geology and landforms. Once a port for cross-channel ferries, Weymouth Harbour is now home to a commercial fishing fleet, pleasure boats and private yachts, while nearby Portland Harbour is the location of the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy, where the sailing events of the 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games were held.

In this video I take a trip down the Jurassic coast from Weymouth on a boat trip.
The scenery down the coast to Durdle Door was amazing and probably the best thing I have done and highly recommend it.
My family loved it even my youngest who is only 1.
