Giants of Literature and a Nazi Concentration Camp: In Weimar, Good and Evil Sit Side by Side
Weimar is world-famous. A number of important philosophers, musicians, and literary figures used to live here – including renowned poets Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and Friedrich Schiller. Weimar Classicism attracts tourists even today.
But the city of Thuringia is also home to a dark chapter of German history. There, the Nazis built one of their largest concentration camps, Buchenwald, where a total of around 266,000 people were imprisoned.
How does Weimar cope with this paradox today? DW reporter Hannah Hummel searches for answers.

This is a walkthrough and tour of a store located at the Germany Pavilion Pavilion at World Showcase at Walt Disney World Epcot famous for its Werthers Original flavored hand made pop corn there. This store is called Karamell-Kuche. I review the pop corn and a few of the other German deserts available for purchase there.

Frankfurt é a quinta maior cidade da Alemanha. O maior centro financeiro da Europa continental. Uma das 10 cidades alfa do mundo! Conhecida em português como Francoforte do Meno, a cidade, fundada no século I, é uma das poucas da Europa que intensamente mescla o antigo com o moderno. Isso porque seu centro histórico medieval foi quase completamente destruído por bombardeios durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial. Ele foi reconstruído tal como era antes, mas também optaram por elevar arranha-céus e edificações modernas.
Não vou mentir, Frankfurt tem sujeira pelas ruas e alguns pontos esquisitos onde nos sentimos inseguros. Por isso, muitos não gostam da cidade. Mas, visitando os pontos certos, tem como aproveitar, sim!
Por ter um dos aeroportos mais movimentados da Europa, é comum que as passagens mais baratas sejam pra lá. Então, para nós, vale a pena conhecê-la por pelo menos um dia, ou em uma conexão no aeroporto. Tem inclusive um metrô que sai do aeroporto e cai direto no centro de Frankfurt, tornando tudo muito fácil!
Fizemos a cidade em um dia e meio em maio de 2022 e vamos mostrar o que vimos por lá! Ao fim do vídeo, mostraremos também algumas dicas de cidades ao sul de Frankfurt para conhecer em uma road trip de 4 dias, como Heidelberg, Estrasburgo e o maior parque temático da Europa, o Europa Park!

We spent the afternoon at the EPCOT Germany Pavilion walking around the store looking for snacks we can both try while also enjoying some of the fine food and drink served in the Germany pavilion. The outside food and drink stands do not accept walt disney world annual passholder discounts however table service dining, like Biergarten, does provide a discount.

We start our day in the Town Hall of Hannover, where the tourist information office is based.
We couldn't resist stopping the the local food market and there are lots of food stalls and had so we tried a few different type of German Sausage. Hannover is a great city with a relaxed atmosphere and we really enjoyed spending the day looking around.

Trip to Wetzlar Germany I Beautiful Old Town
Hi everyone!
I went alone with Musa to meet my brother's family this summer. They were living in Wetzlar at that time. We had a lovely time there walking in the streets of old town every single day and eating some baked goodies from local bakeries. I made this footage during the travel which turned out to be pretty good. Let's take a walk together!
