Wells Somerset England - 4K video
This is a 4K video of Wells is a city in Somerset, on the southern edge of the Mendip Hills in England. We walk through the historic centre, with the market in full swing, taking in the cathedral, and the moated Bishop's Palace. We were surprised at the variety of small independent shops, the city had a vibrant feeling. We also show you Vicars' Close, claimed to be the oldest purely residential street with original buildings surviving intact in Europe. We managed to get the DJI Mini 2 up so you can see vicars close and the cathedral from above.
We used our usual equipment: iPhone 11pro, DJI gimbal and Mini 2 drone, Nikon D7500 and D7200.
All editing done with iMovie on the phone.

Best 10 Places To Visit In Kent 2023, England
Often referred to as the Garden of England due to its endless acres of orchards and lush gardens, the county of Kent offers no end of fun things to do for those willing to wander a little further off the beaten track.
Not only is Kent well-known for its relatively mild climate, it also boasts some of England's oldest and most important historic attractions. It was in Kent that the Romans launched their invasion of England some 55 years before the birth of Christ, and where, over 500 years later, the Christian faith was first introduced to the island nation. As a result of these events, you'll often find Roman ruins brushing up against important religious sites, as is the case in the cathedral city of Canterbury.
Kent also boasts some of the most spectacular scenery in England. Visit the east coast of Kent, and you'll see the famous White Cliffs of Dover looking out towards neighboring France, visible in the distance. This same coastline is home to some 50 or more Kentish beaches, most of them easy day trips from London.

Wells is a cathedral city with a medieval centre on the edge of the Mendip Hills. The wonderfully preserved city is dominated by its glorious Gothic cathedral. The city's charming center is surrounded by medieval architecture. It's also famous for the number of movies that have been filmed here, including Hot Fuzz with Simon Pegg. See if you recognise the filming locations from the movie!
Wells has had city status since medieval times, because of the presence of Wells Cathedral. Often described as England's smallest city, it is actually second smallest to the City of London. In this 4K video of Wells, Somerset, we begin our walk at Vicars' Close, the oldest residential street with original buildings surviving intact in Europe.
We continue to walk through the historic centre, taking in Wells cathedral, Wells Market Cross and the moated Bishop's Palace, passing small independent shops and pubs along the way.
We finish our Well's 4k walk at St. Cuthbert's church, Wells. The Church of St Cuthbert is an Anglican parish church in Wells, Somerset, England, dating from the 13th century. It is often mistaken for the cathedral. It has a fine Somerset stone tower and a superb carved roof. It is a Grade I listed building.
You'll see that Wells is a perfect day trip or holiday destination in the UK it really is one of the best UK cities to visit.

Exploring England's SMALLEST City! | Wells, Somerset
Hey everyone! In this video we go exploring in England's smallest city - Wells, Somerset. This was our stop-gap location on the 6 hour drive from Manchester to Lyme Regis on the south coast of England. We headed down to Dorset and Cornwall for Kitti's 30th birthday and managed to do loads of exploring and hiking trails which we are excited to share with you in our South Coast Series!
Wells is officially England's smallest city (or is it?!) and is a beautiful place to wonder around - full of gorgeous architecture and stunning gardens! There's a castle, a cathedral and it is also home to Vicar's Close - the oldest residential street in the whole of Europe!
Stick around to the end of the video as we also search out the eerily named Hell Lane in Dorset, a holloway (sunken road) dating back 300 years! Dorset is full of hollways but Hell Lane is certainly one of the most spectacular and is actually very easy to get to!

Where to Park - Hell Lane: Colmers Hill Car Park (DT6 6HG)
Directions to Hell Lane from Car Park:
1. Walk out of the car park back to the road (Mill Lane)
2. Turn right and walk until you reach Shute's Lane. Turn right onto it.
3. Walk down Shute's Lane and keep going when it becomes a track
4. When you reach the fork, take the left road
5. Follow this another 5 mins and you will arrive
