5 Best Places To Live In Massachusetts

Massachusetts is one of the iconic places in the United States. According to some, Massachusetts is the birthplace of the country. At the same time, it is where the first European settlement was established--back in 1620. That particular event is quite significant, as New England today still represents the progressive direction that America is taking.

Close to the dawn of the 21st century, Massachusett had experienced dramatic improvement. It transformed into an art and technology beacon, which is now known as The Massachusetts Miracle. Of course, this renaissance has kickstarted various urban reinventions throughout the globe. These days, the Greater Boston area is an IT powerhouse, which has already overshadowed different European countries' IT industries.

Furthermore, Massachusetts has elevated itself to become a to-go place for those who want to receive a world-class education. Back in 2017, Massachusetts was ranked as the most educated state in the United States by WalletHub. That speaks volume to the finesse that this state offers!

If you are planning to move to the Commonwealth State, then this video is for you. Today, I am going to list down all the best places to live in Massachusetts. Watch this video until the end, and don't forget to hit like and subscribe.

Weston Massachusetts 1-9-2022 (4K)

Early morning drive through the quiet town on Weston Massachusetts.

Weston is a small town situated about 15 miles west of Boston and is known for its beautiful countryside, historic homes, and excellent schools.

Weston is a predominantly residential town with a population of about 11,000 people. It has a rich history dating back to the early 18th century, and many of its early homes and buildings have been well-preserved.

The town is home to several conservation areas and parks, including the Weston Town Forest and the Weston Aqueduct Reservation, which offer a variety of recreational opportunities for residents and visitors.

Despite its small size, Weston has a strong sense of community and is a great place to live and raise a family

Urban Crime Wave: Facts vs. Hype

Welcome to a new episode of the Which city should I move to? series, which kicked off with my earlier video, Affordable Cities: 10 US Metro Areas With Underrated Livability, Walkability and Transit.

This time we're delving into a question which always sparks a lot of discussion in the comments: urban crime, and violent crime in particular. Acknowledging the serious trauma that comes with being a crime victim, this video starts with the assumption that many people -- probably the majority -- avoid certain cities because of their reputation for high crime rates.

The video attempts to break the question down geographically. Is the city the right geographic unit at which to measure? Does it mean anything to say St. Louis, Memphis, Detroit, and Albuquerque have some of the highest crime rates among US cities? Well...maybe not.

Video of Wellesley Island State Park, NY from John L.

John L.'s Review on The Dyrt:

▶︎ Fine camping 1000 islands
NYS may get tons of flack for its politics and politicians. However they're doing it all correct in their state parks. This park is amazing. The views of the ST. LAWRENCE River are amazing. You're around some of the best fishing in the country. We'll. Manicured campground. It's huge by the way. Tons of playgrounds and swimming. Always clean everything. Always friendly staff and campers. Inexpensive I mean really inexpensive. You're 10 min from Alexandria Bay. Boldt castle, singer castle, you can go on river cruises and view these beautiful islands and homes on them. Watch the cargo ships cruise the channel. Electric and water on many sites. Cottages cabins and primitive sites available. Hiking trails all over the park. There's a marina, boat launch and boat rentals. Docking. You can even day trip it use public grills and still enjoy everything the park has to offer. We have so much fun here. It's hard to pack and go home.
