Northwich is a town and civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire West and Chester and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. Northwich lies in the heart of the Cheshire Plain, at the confluence of the rivers Weaver and Dane.
Northwich is about 18 miles (29 km) east of Chester and 15 miles (24 km) south of Warrington. 19 miles south of Manchester and 12 miles south of Manchester Airport. Northwich has been part of the Manchester City region since 2004. Northwich has been named as one of the best places to live in the United Kingdom according to The Sunday Times in 2014.
The area around Northwich has been exploited for its salt pans since Roman times, when the settlement was known as Condate. The town of Northwich has been severely affected by salt mining, and subsidence has historically been a significant problem. Recent investment has been designated in mine stabilisation.
Northwich is surrounded by the following civil parishes, starting due north and proceeding in a clockwise direction: Anderton with Marbury, Marston, Wincham, Lostock Gralam, Rudheath, Davenham, Hartford, Weaverham, Barnton. Two rivers meet in the Northwich town centre, the Weaver and the Dane.
The town of Northwich has two key annual events. Over the August Bank Holiday weekend, Northwich Festival is held at Moss Farm Sports Complex, featuring four days of music and sport. Since 2011, the town's Medieval Festival has been staged in Verdin Park. Northwich Memorial Hall was opened in 1960 but closed for redevelopment in 2013, to be replaced by the Memorial Court Facility, opened in 2015. It hosted a range of activities.
The parish church is known as St. Helen's Witton. It is a Grade I Listed Building. The church initially developed as a chapel of ease associated with the parish of Great Budworth to serve the local community, known as the Chapel of Witton. It was not until 7 August 1900 that the parish of Witton (otherwise Northwich) was formed from parts of Great Budworth, Davenham and other surrounding parishes. The present St Wilfrid's (Roman Catholic) church was built in 1866. The current Northwich Methodist Chapel was opened in 1990
The Northwich Union Workhouse opened in 1837 following the Poor Law Amendment of 1834 that standardised the system of poor relief throughout Britain. The building is now the Weaver Hall Museum. The Dock Road Edwardian Pumping Station is a Grade II Listed Building originally built by Northwich Urban District Council in 1913. Two swing bridges, Hayhurst Bridge built in 1898, and Town Bridge built in 1899, cross the Weaver at Northwich. The bridges were the first two electrically powered swing bridges in Great Britain.

This is the 2nd Benson’s fair I’ve ever visited and the main draw for my is their incredible Waltzer which in my opinion is one of the best in the UK, there’s also a whole host of other great rides here too
This small fair was on its last day on my visit and again as usual like with a lot of other fairs it was very quiet which is always sad to see, these little fairs really need the support as it’s expensive to put them on an run them

Join us as we head to Hedge End Carnival Fun Fair 2022, the first time in 2 years. Supported by Burnetts Fun Fair we get to see the classic Grass Cutter Twister once again. As we went on Carnival day, it was busy, super busy which did limit our ride times. However we went for the Carnival and atmosphere, throw in some classic rides and it was a fantastic afternoon in Hedge End.

Join us as we have some fun on the bigger, more extreme rides at Fun City UK Fun Fair, in Oldham Manchester Funfair.
Theo is BACK once again on the channel! For anyone who doesn't really know who Theo is, he is my 6 year old son who has featured on the channel since the age of 4! His presence and his ride ability brings together the family channel, that we are.
Close to M60 Ring Road, J22, is this mixed scale ground! With a whole host of rides to choose from, this fair will not let you down! Rides from Stealth Bomber Booster, Xtream Top Scan, Spinning Mouse Coaster, Sizzler, Waltzer, Miami, Frogs, Dodgems, Superbob, Snow Slide and plenty of juvenile rides too.
Details of this Fair are as follow;
-Opens everyday until Sunday 13th June 2021
-Opens at 12pm each day
-You can book online for this at but this isn't necessary.
-Rides range from 2 tickets to 3. (bigger rides being 3) and they do an offer of 10 tickets for £10.
-The Fair is located on Hollinwood Park OL9 7LG, next to J22 M60 and has limited free parking on site.
-Covid protocols in place. Track and Trace are strict here with sanitisation points around and regular cleaning. Masks are not mandatory but take one in case.
Height restrictions apply on rides. Theo is 1.2m. Please check height boards before assuming height.
Please note we use specific equipment to film on rides. We strongly suggest that you don't use your phone on rides.

Join us as we head down to Weaverham Fun Fair, hosted by Cubbins Funfair.
Theo is BACK once again on the channel! For anyone who doesn't really know who Theo is, he is my 6 year old son who has featured on the channel since the age of 4! His presence and his ride ability brings together the family channel, that we are.
Found on the the fields in Weaverham, is this small family fair with rides such as Insania Miami, Waltzer, Dodgems, Terror Towers Ghost Train, Fun House, Sizzler and plenty of juvenile rides too
Details of this Fair are as follow;
-Open everyday, however this fair does end Sunday 16th May 2021
-Rides are all £2.50 cash only (dodgems £3 per car)
-The Fair is located on Withen's Lane, Weaverham.
-Covid protocols in place, such as regular cleaning, sanitisation points and track and trace.
Height restrictions apply on rides.
Although we film on rides, we use specific equipment and strongly suggest you don't use your phone on rides.
Theo's height is 1.2m. Please check height of your child before assuming admission to such ride.

Join us as we head down for Ashton in Makerfield Fun fair, supporting J E Silcocks Funfair!
Theo is BACK once again on the channel! For anyone who doesn't really know who Theo is, he is my 6 year old son who has featured on the channel since the age of 4! His presence and his ride ability brings together the family channel, that we are.
Found on the car park in the centre of Ashton is this small family fair offering a small mix of rides for all, including Freak Out, Sidekick Miami, Waltzer, Twister, Funhouse and a few juvenile rides too.
Today marked a big milestone for Theo as he has now hit the 1.2m line, and was his first ride on Freak Out.... not just ANY Freak out though, Silcocks'!
Details of this Fair are as follow;
-Open most days from Thursday 6th May 2021 until Sunday 16th May 2021 (closed Tuesday 11th and Wednesday 12th).
-Opening hours are 530pm- 9pm weekdays, 1pm- 9pm Saturdays and 1pm- 530pm Sundays.
-Rides are all £2 cash only
-The Fair is located in the centre of Ashton WN4 9AF
-Covid protocols in place, such as regular cleaning, sanitisation points and track and trace. Masks are not mandatory unless riding Waltzer, but they have them available if you would like one (limited stock).

Mystery Coach Tour - Winscombe
All Saints Church, Hastings: Ascending The Tower.
6th August 2019.
In Hastings Old Town Carnival Week. the tower at All Saints Church in Hastings, East Sussex, UK, is opened to the public. The view from the top is a bit disappointing as you cannot go outside and the only view available is by pointing the camera downwards through the louvers in the belfry. However, a good view of the church and it's tower and beyond can be seen by climbing the East Hill behind the church.

We head out to the large Horsham grounds for a cracking fair with Bensons in town. With a great lineup including Waltzer, Cage, Frogs, Twister, Extreme and a new ride for us Super Trooper.
The only let down was me not staying long enough due to parking and planning!
Bensons have a great selection of family and thrill rides catering for all ages, a couple of small family coasters is balanced by an insane Extreme its really not one to miss. Not in town for long keep an eye out on their Facebook page for where the fair is at next, we will be back!
As with our fair vlogs this year all sound is retained for full atmosphere.

This huge fair is celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and what a fair it is, it’s massive !!! There’s so many rides here and some of the best in the UK including the one and only New York New York
Most rides are just £1,50 making it one of the cheapest fairs around and one that’s definitely not to be missed, there’s tons of rides including the incredible Spin-O-Disc 2 Waltzer, Vortex, Superstar, Matterhorn, Orbiter, Roller Ghoster, 3 coasters and much more
