Warrenton Is One Of Missouri's Fastest Growing Cities
Warrenton, Missouri is about an hour northwest of Downtown St. Louis along I-70. It's also an hour east from Columbia, Missouri. This city along with Warren County has experienced suburban like growth since the 1970's, and today it's one of the fastest growing areas in all of Missouri. Just proves to show you that people are still moving out to the suburbs to seek a better quality of life.

Things to do in Astoria, Oregon. Hello and thank you for watching our video on Astoria City, Oregon. In this video we will show you things to do, where to eat, and also show you some clips of the running of the Great Columbia River Crossing 10k. Kim and I spent the weekend in our Lance travel travel trailer and camped at Fort Stevens State Park. One of the best State Parks for camping on the Oregon Coast. While there, we toured the City of Astoria. Astoria is surrounded by the beauty of the forest, mountains, three rivers and the sea. Because of its steep hills and beautiful Victorian homes, Astoria has been called the “Little San Francisco of the Pacific Northwest.” Just across Youngs Bay is Warrenton, a city of more than 5,000, that encompasses Fort Stevens State Park and its broad, clean ocean beaches. We toured the boardwalk were we saw sea lions, toured shops and hit up a couple of awesome breweries which included Buoy Brewing and Astoria Brewing. Back at camp we toured a section of the Oregon Coast in which you can actually drive your vehicle on. Kim ran the Great Columbia River Crossing 10k which was pretty awesome. She got a chance to run over the Astoria-Megler Bridge that separates Oregon and Washington State.The uphill portion of the bridge is a little more than 3,250 feet, which is about .61 of a mile. The hill starts about 3.9 miles into the race. The bridge crest is about 4.5 miles into the race. The grade of the hill is 5.62%, or a little less than a 4° slope. The race was 6.2 miles in total. Warrenton, TX - Named After A Store Called Warren Ligon In The Area
Warrenton is an unincorporated community in northeastern Fayette County, Texas, United States. Located on State Highway 237 between Spencer Pool and Coon Creek, twelve miles northeast of La Grange. Founded by William Neese, who landed in Galveston in 1847 and named the new settlement that grew around his store for Warren Ligon, another early colonist. This area was settled by many German colonists who, with an admixture of Anglos, formed several small farming communities based on the production of cotton, corn, and dairy products. The community flourished in the late 1800s. A post office was established in 1873, when the town had a population of over 100, churches, schools, a gin, and supporting businesses. Poor soil conditions led to a shift to cattle and poultry after 1900. By 1950, the number of businesses in Warrenton had declined to seven, and the population held at 180. By 1985, the population was down to fifty, but twelve antique stores had opened and St. Martin's Church, at twelve by sixteen feet proclaimed the world's smallest Catholic church, attract visitors. The population reached sixty-five in 2000.
Warrenton hosts Trade Days on the 2nd weekend of the month. It is also part of the Round Top Antiques Fair in the Spring and Fall. This is a very large antique show in several rural communities near Round Top and Warrington between Austin and Houston. Generally held the end of Sept and beginning of Oct and then again in end of March and beginning of April. Held across several weekends it brings in about 100,000 visitors from across the nation and about 600 vendors.
The Sterling McCall Old Car Museum was one of the local attractions. On display in this museum were over 130 vehicles from the prized collection of Mr. Sterling B. McCall, Jr., ranging in vintage from 1908 to 1967. The collection was begun in 1979. The museum facility was completed in 1998, enlarged in 1999, and again in 2003. In March 2013, the buildings were re-purposed as an antique showcase & event center. Today, the buildings house 'The Lone Star Glamp Inn', an indoor trailer park experience furnished with remodeled vintage trailers and themed teepees.

WARRENTON is also my hometown where I attended South Warren elementary, John graham middle school and Warren county high.
