10 Best Places to Visit in Massachusetts - Travel Video

Check out all the places seen in this video:
As one of the original Thirteen Colonies and birthplace of the American Revolution, it is no wonder Massachusetts is renowned for its rich history. It was here in the early seventeenth-century that the first colonists arrived and set up settlements. Tucked away in the northeast of the United States in New England, its long Atlantic Ocean coastline is dominated by the three ginormous bays that shape it. While countless historic sites litter the Bay State, it also has scenic spots such as Cape Cod for holidaymakers to enjoy. Here’s a look at the best places to visit in Massachusetts:

Waltham MA - 10 fun things to do!

Often referred to as the Watch City, Waltham is certainly a city to watch. Just nine miles west of Boston, Waltham offers its own urban paradise with an endless selection of eateries, unique housing options and open green spaces.

If you’re looking for a high-end culinary experience, there’s no need to head into Boston – just walk over to Waltham’s “restaurant row” on Moody Street. There you’ll find everything from swanky steakhouses to Spanish tapas, an Indian buffet to fancy charcuterie. With new restaurants popping up all the time, your taste buds will never be bored. And you can get a little taste of everything at the annual Waltham Food and Wine Festival.

With easy access to Boston through two commuter rail stops and several exits along Route 128, Waltham is convenient place to call home. There’s something for everyone in the housing market, too – from quaint Colonials to lofts in converted factories. A great walkable downtown gives that city vibe without the Boston price tag.

Living in Waltham, you’ll quickly come to appreciate all the history the city has to offer. Waltham has many museums celebrating the city’s industrial days, including the Waltham Museum and the popular Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation. There are also a large number of estates within the city for residents to tour and enjoy, including Gore Place, the Paine Estate and the Lyman Estate.

Biking to work or running on the weekend along the Charles isn’t just for Boston residents. The river runs through Waltham, too, and provides a great way to residents to get outdoors. There are many other ways to enjoy the great outdoors in Waltham, like the 250-acre Prospect Park, which includes great hiking trails and picnic tables.

If you’re looking for still other things to do, there are many unique cultural offerings in Waltham as well. The Embassy Cinema downtown gives Waltham residents a great place to catch chart topping and independent films alike. The Waltham Philharmonic Orchestra and the Waltham Symphony Orchestra both regularly put on concerts. The city is also home to two major universities – Brandeis and Bentley – which both hold plenty of public events for locals to discover.

So if you’re looking for a new place to call home or maybe just a great place to visit, keep an eye on Waltham.

5 Best Places To Live In Massachusetts

Massachusetts is one of the iconic places in the United States. According to some, Massachusetts is the birthplace of the country. At the same time, it is where the first European settlement was established--back in 1620. That particular event is quite significant, as New England today still represents the progressive direction that America is taking.

Close to the dawn of the 21st century, Massachusett had experienced dramatic improvement. It transformed into an art and technology beacon, which is now known as The Massachusetts Miracle. Of course, this renaissance has kickstarted various urban reinventions throughout the globe. These days, the Greater Boston area is an IT powerhouse, which has already overshadowed different European countries' IT industries.

Furthermore, Massachusetts has elevated itself to become a to-go place for those who want to receive a world-class education. Back in 2017, Massachusetts was ranked as the most educated state in the United States by WalletHub. That speaks volume to the finesse that this state offers!

If you are planning to move to the Commonwealth State, then this video is for you. Today, I am going to list down all the best places to live in Massachusetts. Watch this video until the end, and don't forget to hit like and subscribe.

Boston USA. The Most European City in the US. Sights, People and Food

Time to visit Boston! the largest city in New England region famous for its seafood, history and love for sports! It's the most European looking city in my opinion. Some of its neighborhoods like Back Bay and Beacon hill look like Europe for sure. Thanks for watching!

TOP 10 Things to do in Boston, Massachusetts 2023!

TOP 10 Things to do in Boston, Massachusetts 2023!

Boston, Massachusetts an amazing place to visit in Massachusetts. If you want to know top 10 what to do in Boston or you need a travel guide, please keep watching.

Number 5. Old North Church and Boston's North End
Boston's lively Italian neighborhood, known as the North End, is one of Boston's oldest, where the silversmith and activist leader Paul Revere lived at the time of the American Revolution. The Paul Revere House, which he bought in 1770 and lived in when he made his famous ride, is the only patriot's home on the Freedom Trail, and is open to tour.
You can climb to the tower of Old North Church, where lanterns were hung in April 1775 to alert Paul Revere that British troops were headed to Lexington to arrest the patriot leaders and confiscate the munitions supplies. The beautiful white interior of the church still retains its historic box pews.

Number 4. Newbury Street & Back Bay
Both atmospheric and fashionable, Boston's Back Bay (it was once under water, before a hill was leveled to fill it in) is the heart of the 19th-century city, home of the Proper Bostonian of legend. Streets of sedate Brownstone and brick townhouses line the grid of streets between the Public Garden and the Fenway, bounded on the north by Storrow Drive and the Charles River Esplanade.
Stroll its tree-lined streets, especially Newbury Street, to find an almost European atmosphere of small (mostly trendy) shops and boutiques, art galleries, and cafés and restaurants that spill out into sidewalk terraces. Architecture throughout the neighborhood is eclectic, with some fine examples of ornamental terra-cotta and brickwork.

Number 3. Boston Public Library and Copley Square
The main square of the Back Bay area is surrounded by both old and ultra-modern buildings. One side is formed by the Boston Public Library, founded in 1848 as the first publicly funded lending library in the country. Architect Charles Follen McKim designed the present building in 1895.
Go inside to see the library's Renaissance Revival architecture and murals by John Singer Sargent and Edwin Abbey. Granite medallions over the entrance arches are the work of the pre-eminent American sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens. The three sets of bronze doors in the vestibule were created by Daniel Chester French. Regular Art and Architecture Tours are among the several free things to do in Boston.

Number 2 . John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum
Dedicated to the memory of the 35th U.S. President, the museum is the official national memorial to JFK, designed by noted architect I.M. Pei and opened in 1979. The museum, which stands on the shore south of the city, features three theaters, personal memorabilia, photographs, and historical exhibits that document the life of JFK and his presidency.
Exhibits cover the presidential campaign trail, the Oval Office, First Lady Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy, and the Kennedy family. Interactive experiences here include the free and family-friendly Highlights tours and the Hands-on Cart programs, which include the PT-109 story and a closer look at the Race for Space.

Number 1. Massachusetts Institute of Technology
The 150-acre MIT campus is of special interest to fans of modern and postmodern architecture, a living museum of works by noted architects including Alvar Aalto, Eduardo Catalano, I. M. Pei, Frank Gehry, and Eero Saarinen.
In addition, the campus displays hundreds of sculptures and art installations that you can see with the help of a self-guided walking tour map, by artists such as Pablo Picasso, Henry Moore, Alexander Calder, Jacques Lipchitz, and Auguste Rodin. In the Hart Nautical Gallery are ship models, and the Compton Gallery shows contemporary art.

Top 10 BEST PLACES to LIVE in MASSACHUSETTS!

It is supposedly where America began. Boston, Massachusetts, Plymouth. where in 1620 the first European settlement was founded. Because this progressive New England state continues to serve as a national compass in terms of transformation, that historic event acted as a sign of things to come.

There is currently more IT talent in the Greater Boston area than in some significant European nations.

It is not unexpected that technology and education continue to be Massachusetts' two largest industries given the state's strong academic reputation.

In fact, the Commonwealth state came in third on the list of the most innovative states, according to WalletHub, making it the most educated state in the nation in 2017.

Massachusetts received high marks for education and child care, health and safety, affordability, and family fun from the personal finance website, which ranked the state sixth overall among the best places to raise a family overall. This is the ideal combination for anyone searching for a desirable spot to take up residence.

The best areas to live are dispersed throughout Massachusetts. The cost of living rises with proximity to Boston, a city with a lot of jobs. Life slows down as you travel further from The Hub, yet this does not imply that it becomes monotonous.

You can find the ideal area of Massachusetts to call home here. This is a list of the top areas in Massachusetts to reside based on recommendations from professionals. Of course, i am interested in your point of view. Which city attracts to you? Let me know in the comments below!

Favorite Places in Central Massachusetts

These are some of my favorite outdoor/nature places to visit in Central Massachusetts. These are all in a very rural part of the state. Three of them have hiking trails. I am blessed to live near this area and enjoy these beautiful places throughout the year. I made the video so I would have a memory of these places.
The opening narration clips where recorded with a GoPro Hero 7 Black. The clips of the places where recorded with a Sony ZV-1 on a Zhiyum Crane M2 gimbal. Several of the water clips were recorded at 120 fps then slowed down to 30 fps to create a slow motion effect.

Waltham Massachusetts (Outside of Boston)

Waltham Massachusetts (Outside of Boston)

This videos starts out on I-95 North as I head to Waltham, MA, a city about 10 miles or so outside of Boston, Massachusetts.
Driving through Waltham, you can see it is a nice little city. Being a truck driver, part of that trucker life on the road means sometimes you have to go into these small cities and maneuver your big rig or 18 wheeler truck through all the traffic. It's all good though because I like to think of it as taking a small tour through places that I never normally would go almost like a tourist. You can a virtual tourist along with me as I travel to different places in the good ol' USA - the United States of America!
