You have incredible people, beautiful black forest hikes, and the munster is a great place to visit. Also, be careful you don't fall into a bachle as that water on the side of the road could mean you might be marrying someone from Freiburg in your future.

Our trip to the Baumkronenweg or Tree Top Path in Waldkirch. It is quite a hike to get up there, but it is worth it for the views and the fun the kids have. Plus it's a little easier to get down if you are brave enough.

BLACK FOREST TRAVELOGUE: This fantastic picturesque region from south to north, with commentary.
ROBANCA TRAVELOGUES: Picturesque Black Forest. A driving tour of the Black Forest in southern Germany, firstly staying at Titisee in the south, from where we visit Triberg and it's waterfalls, Waldkirch and the city of Freiburg. We then visit the nearby Lake Schluchsee, Altglashutten, Lenzkirch and Loffingen. Travelling north, we then pass through St Margen, St Peter and Haslach, before reaching our second base in the north of the Forest at Durbach. From here we visit the towns of Offenburg, Hausach, and Villingen, and the lovely villages of Gengenbach and Schiltach.

Waldkirch im Elztal
Waldkirch ist das kulturelle und wirtschaftliche Zenntrum des Elztals im Breisgau. Hoch über der Stadt thront die Kastelburg. Unten liegt die alte Stadt der Edelsteinschleifer und Orgelbauer am Ufer der Elz. Auf den ersten Blick erkennt man, dass trotz der Zeugnisse des modernen Gewerbefleißes noch viel historische Substanz vorhanden ist. Der ehemalige Klosterbezirk fällt genauso ins Auge wie der malerische Marktplatz oder zahlreiche exponierte Gebäude. Unternehme mit uns einen kleinen Stadtrundgang durch das malerische Waldkirch und besuche das Elztalmuseum mit seiner Imposanten Orgelsammlung.

Wonderful Village in Southern Germany - Villingen-Schwenningen 4K Ultra HD Footage
Villingen-Schwenningen is a city located in Germany in the southwest of the Land of Baden-Württemberg. With around 81,000 inhabitants, the municipality is the largest in the Black Forest-Baar district.
The particularity of the city lies in the fact that it consists of two entities corresponding to two formerly independent towns, namely Villingen and Schwenningen. The two former municipalities merged in 1972 to become Villingen-Schwenningen. Another particularity is geographical: between the two old towns less than 5 kilometers apart, runs along a north-south axis the watershed between the North Sea (to the north) and the Black Sea (to the east).
