How to visit 3 Countries in 4 days: Croatia, Slovenia and Italy
Our top 5 tips:
1. Istria region in Croatia is famous for its olive oil and truffles. We would really recommend to visit Chiavalon extra virgin olive oil manufactury ( Friendly staff will give you information about olive oils, as well as you will get to taste it yourself. Important, book a tour at least one day in advance, so that you could also try their other local specialties :)
2. Go visit Kamenjak national park. It is still not full of tourists, wild nature and definitely pay a visit to Safari bar (bring cash!).
3. In Croatia, they have toll roads, but sometimes we try to discover new local places and choose toll-free roads which sometimes pay off with picturesque local views.
4. Discover the beauty of Slovenian seaside. Slovenia has a relatively short coastline (47 km of Adriatic sea). Piran is our favorite place, go for swimming in Adriatic sea, and then head for lunch at Kantina Klet.
5. If you want to add up history knowledge, visit Trieste. Roman Theatre of Trieste, Risiera di san Sabba, Miramara Castle- just to name a few.
