00:38 Piazza De Ferrari
01:05 Porta Soprana, Christopher Columbus’ house and Cloister of Sant'Andrea
01:36 Cattedrale di San Lorenzo (Genoa Cathedral)
01:59 Arco della Vittoria
02:25 Via XX Settembre and Mercato Orientale

Genoa is a somewhat decayed noble port town and this, however, is what makes it so interesting and pretty. The city is a good base to explore the Italian Riviera or to continue your journey to Milan, Florence or Venice.

In this Italy travel guide video, we visit Positano in the Amalfi coast. Positano is arguably the most popular and picturesque place on the Amalfi Coast. There is a lot of information online about why you should visit, so we wanted to show you some reasons why you should not visit. It is a top place to visit in Italy but we wanted to give you the full picture so you can decide whether it is the destination for you.

The main things to consider are the parking and roads if you are driving. The prices are not that friendly to budget backpackers and it is not necessarily unique. That said, it was an incredible place and it is obvious why it is so popular.

Sorrento is an amazing place and definitely a must see destination.
I highly recommend staying at the Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria, a luxiruous 5 star hotel in the Heart of Sorrento. It is the oldest and most prestigious hotel in Sorrento with a 180 years of history and still contain the historic furnishings. They have been host to many of the rich and famous, such as Marilyn Monroe, Sophia Loren, Richard Wagner and Enrico Caruso. Their most famous suites, the Caruso suite, was named after the famous singer.
They offer 84 rooms and suites and every single one amazing. They offer 2 of the best restaurants in Sorrento as well as a large 20000 sqm garden. Which makes it hard to believe that you are in the middle of town.
Their terrace is where you will find the most spectacular sunsets in town while enjoying a cocktail. Enjoy their spa and try to make time for their pool and try one of the best oven baked pizzas in the city.
Their staff is one of the most amazing I have ever encountered, most have been there forever, such as their concierge, Antonito, who has been there for 45 years and his father before him. I would say he is the number 1 concierge in the world!!!
The most amazing sight you will ever see is arriving by sea. It was absolutely breath taking!!! Make sure to add this to your bucket list, you won’t regret it!
