Alte Amalienbrücke Oldenburg (1980)
Diese Schmalfilmaufnahmen aus 1980 zeigen die alte und neue Amalienbrücke in Oldenburg.
Die alte Amalienbrücke (Hubbrücke) existierte damals noch einige Wochen neben der neuen Brücke, bevor sie nahezu restlos entfernt wurde. Protesttransparente zeigen, wie sehr die Oldenburg an ihrer Hubbrücke hingen.
Im Zuge eines möglichen Neubaus der sehr ähnlich konstruierten Cäcilienbrücke wiederholt sich heute die damalige Diskussion, ob ein Abriss wünchenswert ist oder ob die Cäcilienbrücke als letzte Ihrer Art nicht doch erhalten werden sollte.
Entgegen der landläufigen Meinung waren die alte Amalienbrücke und die heute noch existierende Cäcilienbrücke nicht baugleich. Wer genau hinsieht, erkennt den Unterschied bei 1:15 .

Genau diese Herausforderung hat den Dresdner Filmemacher Thorsten Kutschke und sein BIWAK-Team gereizt und gelockt – zu einer Film-Expedition am anderen Ende der Welt, zwischen der „grünen Hölle“ des Dschungels und der dünnen Luft auf einem 6000 Meter hohen Vulkan im Niemandsland der Anden. Auf eigene Faust – gemeinsam mit „Torte“ und „Ikea“, zwei gebürtigen Chemnitzern mit einer hoch-spannenden Lebensgeschichte, die in Bolivien ihre zweite Heimat gefunden und bemerkenswerte Hilfsprojekte auf die Beine gestellt haben.
Die Reise beginnt am Rio Beni, einem Oberlauf des Amazonas, wo die Chemnitzer in einer Tierauswilderungs-Station Affen, Tapire und auch junge Leoparden aufziehen, um sie vor den grausamen Handels-Gebaren der illegalen Wild-Diebe im Regenwald zu schützen.
Auf der abenteuerlichen Reise in die Urwälder des Madidi-Nationalparks umschifft die Crew auf einer riskanten Bootsfahrt lebensgefährliche Strudel und erreicht ein winziges Dorf am Oberlauf des Rio Tuichi. Wo Torte und Ikea mit einem medizinischen Hilfskonvoi im abgelegen Dschungel Zähne ziehen, Hautkrankheiten behandeln, Geburtsurkunden für Neugeborene ausstellen und den Kindern der indigenen Urweinwohner das Zähneputzen beibringen.
Beim Dschungel-Trekking begegnet das Film-Team einem ausgewachsenen Kaiman, wilden Bienen und essbaren Larven, die im Notfall das Überleben im Urwald sichern können.
Der pure Kontrast zum schweißtreibenden Regenwald ist die unwirkliche Kulisse des Salar de Uyuni: Der größte Salzsee der Erde ist nach 2 Tagen Regen mit einer dünnen Wasserschicht bedeckt, die wirkt wie ein überdimensionaler Spiegel. Eine surreale Szenerie, in der man schnell die Orientierung verlieren kann. Genau so wie in den endlos-unbewohnten Weiten des Altiplano, wie die Bolivianer das unwirtliche Hochland an der Grenze zu Chile nennen. Eingerahmt von fast unwirklich bunten Bergen schlummern hier tief-rote und smaragdgrüne Lagunen, in denen sich Millionen Pelikane in über 4000 Metern Höhe tummeln. Heiße Quellen, bizarre Felsgestalten und ein unfassbar klarer Sternenhimmel machen diese „Mondlandschaft“ zu einem Schotter-Roadtrip, der schier atemberaubend ist – nicht nur wegen der dünnen Luft.
Die Luft wird noch dünner, als das BIWAK-Team zum „Finale“ dieser einzigartigen Expedition aufbricht – zu einem Besteigungsversuch am Uturuncu, einem mehr als 6000 Meter hohen Vulkan an der Grenze zwischen Bolivien und Argentinien – fernab von jeglichem „Rummel-Tourismus“, in den endlosen Weiten des südamerikanischen Hochlands.

Walking in OLDENBURG / Germany ????????- Around the City Center - 4K 60fps (UHD)
Oldenburg is a town in northwest Germany. The old center of Oldenburg has many restaurants and cafes on pedestrian streets that we will visit on this walk.
We start our tour at the Hafenpromenade along the harbor of Oldenburg east of the city center. We are quickly getting to the inner city and the Ritterstraße to visit the Rathausmarkt with the St. Lamberti Church of Oldenburg.
Our tour continues to the Oldenburger Schloss that we circle around. On our way we also see the Berliner Bären statue. Then it's time to make a little detour outside of the city center.
Returning back to the inner city through Schlossplatz we now see more of the center and often head out and back into the many pedestrian streets. We even see the Lappan, a historic bell tower in the north of the city and stroll around the many alleys. There are more paths to explore.
