Arlon is the Capital city of Luxembourg which is the southernmost province of Belgium. Arlon is one of the oldest cities of Belgium and is the smallest provincial capital of Belgium. Archaeological facts suggest that the city remained a trading post for the Romans. Some of those objects and evidence are displayed in the Archaeological museum of the city.
Arlon is a wonderful place to visit for culture, history and outdoor activities. The city has beautiful surroundings, rolling hills, green fields and natural trails. The city is also famous for its high standard Belgian Cuisine. The city has a huge variety of restaurants, cafes, bars, pubs and stalls. The small city can be covered within a day but to enjoy all the attractions and food, a minimum of 2 days stay is recommended. You can also extend the stay if you want to explore the nearby Grand Duchy of the country of Luxembourg famous for the Ferrero Rocher chocolate factory. There is a Luxembourg city in the Luxembourg country. Arlon is located in the Belgian Luxembourg province.

MOTORCYCLE: A COVID19 trip around the borders of Belgium VIRTON PART 3. Adventure, woods, nature
I am not allowed to go out, so I stay in.
Virton is a small region In Luxembourg were a different climate and a lot of woods determine the atmosphere. A 20 km long ride out of 200km trough woods made my day. The only matter I needed to be careful with was the passage of deers.

Op bezoek in Bouillon - Belgische Ardennen
De stad Bouillon behoort tot de mooiste steden van de Belgische Ardennen. De geschiedenis van Bouillon is onafscheidelijk verbonden met die van Godfried van Bouillon, de beroemde ridder, die in 1096 de Eerste Kruistocht naar het Heilig Land leidde. Het kasteel van Bouillon is open voor publiek. Het torent hoog boven de stad uit en vanaf de torens heeft u een schitterend uitzicht op de rivier de Semois en de lager gelegen delen van de stad. In Bouillon kunt u leuk wandelen en onder de plaatselijke brouwerij bezoeken. Voor het TV programma RonReizen op RTL4 bezochten we deze fijne stad in Wallonië.

One day in Leuven
A student city 600-year-old university, historical artwork, Ionic Gothic town hall, Botanical Garden, breweries and lovely atmosphere. Would you like to visit? If your answer is Yes then you can visit Leuven.
It's a small city in Belgium and the capital of the province of Flemish Brabant. The city is located 25 km away from Brussels. In one day you can visit the city.
How to reach
Leuven is well connected with all major cities. There are trains from Brussels every 15 minutes. The train station is located some 10 minutes away by foot from the City Hall and Leuven’s main square. You can rent a bicycle or bike at a train station or in one of the shops close to the main square.
Town hall
Leuven’s most iconic building or Landmark is Townhall. Moreover, it is one of the best Gothic town halls. Four corner turrets, two ridge turrets, and balustrade around the building. it has only three floors. If you are seeing outside you will except a few more floors. Statues (some statues represent biblical figures, other artists, dukes, statues scholars, etc), flags, paintings, wood carvings all are giving a more beautiful appearance.

The Grote Markt (Grand Place)
The Grote market is the central square of Leuven. It is surrounded by Town hall and it is the most important and busiest tourist destination in Leuven.
Saint Peter’s Church
Just across the town hall, you will find one beautiful church, Saint Peter’s Church. a UNESCO World Heritage Site – is worth a visit. It’s a Gothic building It also has a nice Treasury with some Medieval paintings, plenty of reliquary statues, carved wooden icons, beautifully engraved chest and sculptures. Entrance to the church is free of charge, but if you would like to visit Treasury as well, you’ll need to pay an entrance fee.
M – Museum Leuven
In the market, One of the main attractions in Leuven. Just look at the museum outside, you will get an idea of what you are going to see. It is a perfect place for contemporary art lovers. It displays both modern and historic artwork and combined form. The M is housed in a modern building by architect Stéphane Beel. The museum garden is good to spend time. Most of the summer events take place here.
Botanical garden
Wonderful gardens in the heart of the city of Leuven. The oldest botanical garden in Belgium. It was founded by the university in the 18th century but now a property of the city of Leuven loved to spend time here. The cool breeze and nice atmosphere. The beautiful garden has lots of different areas to explore and wander around. There are many exotic trees, flowers, glasshouses, bees, small ponds, fruit trees, and statues. It’s well maintained and offers plenty of places to sit and enjoy the surroundings. The best time to visit is April and May.
Arenberg Castle
Castle in the middle of a Peaceful park. It is an example of traditional brick and sandstone architecture.16th-century the current castle was built and renovated in19th century. In 1916 the duke of Arenberg donated the domain to the university. The castle is now part of the Polytechnic University. On sunny days it is a perfect place to visit for photoshoot or picnic. All area is full of trees, lawns. It is located just 3 km away from the town hall.
